"Open in Firefox" extension opens the current tab or links inside the current tab in the Firefox browser from the right-click context menu, toolbar button, or even left-clicking on a link with and without a modifier. This extension eases the link transferring between the different browsers. There is no need to copy a link from one browser to the OS clipboard and paste it into another browser. Features: Open a hostname in Firefox Open a specific URL in Firefox Open all URLs with a specific keyword in Firefox Close the tab when a link is transferred (Optional) Do not block left-click action when a link is transferred (Optional) Support managed storage to configure the extension from the administration panel If a Firefox browser is opened, the extension opens the link in a new browser tab. If no open instance of the Firefox browser is detected, a new Firefox window is opened. Using this extension, you can define custom URLs or hostnames to be directly sent to the Firefox browser from the options page. Also, it is possible to close the source tab when the link transfer is successful. This way for instance you can view a particular host in the Firefox browser, although Chrome is your main browser. Important Notes: 1. For this extension to open links in the Firefox browser you will need to install a minimal native client. The instruction to install the native client is displayed once a link opening is requested. There are two short video tutorials in the screenshot section for both Windows and Linux or Mac operation systems if you want to see the installation steps of the native client. 2. This extension supports managed storage which means some preferences can be configured by the domain administrator 3. This extension can send links on left-click, a combination of the left-click and a keyboard meta key, and top-level navigation 4. At the moment, there is no version available for Chrome OS. I imagine the extension works fine, but the thing is, my chromebook cant work with this extension. and i cant find why that is. i don't know if my chromebook is a specific make and model, or if my chromebook isn't completely updated. But the video attached to this says that the extension's compatible with chromebooks, even though it's not working for me. \_(-_-)_/
