With EBSCOhost Passport ™, going back and forth between your research on the web and the library website to check if you have access is a thing of the past! When you install the extension, EBSCOhost Passport ™, will ask you to search for your institution/library, pick it and then you’ll be on your way across the web, finding quick access to articles on the sites you visit most. Look for the “E” icon in-context on the page or on the right-hand side to indicate access is available through your institution or freely available as Open Access. We do the work of checking your access to articles (by DOI), with no setup needed by your institution. You may be prompted to login to your institution upon clicking a link. For selected websites, we will also add access to supplemental scholarly information related to your search, provided by EBSCO Essentials (EBSCO’s open web discovery solution). Look for the More Scholarly Results icon and click it to expand your view of additional relevant articles. (This extension is in BETA - enhanced functionality will be added over the next few months)
