Planting trees is NOT the best way to neutralize carbon footprint. The user interface is really bad. There are other extensions out there that actually make your orders carbon neutral.
Good idea, but terrible execution. The window that asks about whether you want to start shopping appears basically everywhere with a donation/merch section, regardless of what I'm actually there for (like YouTube), and it's static so you reload the site and lose all your progress/input when you either close it or click "Plant Trees". There's no option to permanently disable planting trees on each site either.
The extension is light and does not interfere with the browsing. Great initiative, worth supporting!
