i was completly shocked to discover that this app still hang around after all of these years i was litterally using it on windows me which was even before windows xp came out .. brilliant

simpLe, Lite, secure, fast, powerfuL and FREE i've been using uLtrasurf for aLmost 20 years, it's stiLL the best choice compared to other VPNs oiyaa, the "auto-popping" tabs can't be stopped but there is a way to force them to open in the background

It seems to provide auto connection to US server, but is it safe? Kaspersky Antivirus detection flags it as dangerous, and shows the following: "HEUR:Trojan Script Generic."

great extension

I like it, but I don't like how the homepage keeps popping up seemingly randomly for me. It's free and works great though, so it's a very minimal complaint. I use this to access American websites now that I'm living in the UK.

I love it but it has its downsides... still, a must get.

This app works pretty well, but it randomly opens UltraSurf tabs whenever clicking on links, with no way to stop this behavior. Tabs randomly opening while browsing Chrome is highly disruptive.

This VPN used to work godly and many people in my school were using it. A few weeks ago it stopped working for me. It takes so long to connect when I turn it on. Is it just me or? (EDIT: MY SCHOOL BLOCKED CHROME EXTENSIONS AND I CANT ENABLE MY EXTENSIONS!!)

Been using this app since version 13.02 (currently running 21.32). It's a marvel on the android. On the P.C. it's faltering lately (past 3 weeks) and I can't get connected even when it says it is. I am sure the engineers will have this fixed soon. Thanks guys. If I could give you a million, I would.

It is not all that bad itself, but jesus f-ing christ it insists on opening up its own browser randomly. for this reason i fricking hate it a I hope it rots in hell, so damn annoying.

It connects easily and does its job well, but... *** WHY DO YOU OPEN YOUR SITE EVERY 2 MINUTESSS? *** VERY ANNOYING. Of course it is going to be removed. Unfortunately I can't rate lower than 1 star. (The site even was opened three times while I was writing this!)

Now a days, the icon from menu bar disables automatically. Every time I have to go in extension tab to enable it. Give me solution for it.

Forces you to change your default search engine to a known piece of malware, and won't change it back. Pretty sure this got hacked, considering they never had this problem before. DON'T INSTALL.

From 1 of the best extensions to the worst ever that I know of. I have never had any extension asking to change my search engine settings before. Got rid of this in a heartbeat.

This is the best internet bypass! I already tried all method from vpn to dns to bypass internet protection in my office, and all of them didn't work. But when using ultrasurf, it really works and fast.

Like everyone else im mad about the recent change why the hell would you change a good product to this mess. I could deal with the new tab with the ad and news article but forcing a search engine? No thanks id rather actually buy a vpn. I've literally been using this vpn for years this change was the worst decision they have ever done don't get this vpn unless they get rid of that feature.

This extension does work, but it does come with heavy disadvantages. For one, it automatedly opens a new tab of their news website whenever you start the extension or whenever it feels like it. If you leave your browser idling for a while, say while your computer is in sleep mode, it'll attempt to load up to hundreds of tabs at once. This, while annoying, is manageable. What is not manageable is that they will force you to use their own search engine. They do it in a slightly scummy way as well. In a new tab on chrome, there is an icon on the left side of the URL bar that tells you what search engine you are using. Ultra surf's engine conveniently has that icon removed, likely so that the change can be easily overlooked. Sorry, but hard hard pass on this. I like it when only I have my bank pin.

This extension used to be amazing! It has now become a virus. It forcefully changes your default search engine and does whatever the heck it thinks you need. Get rid of it, before it takes over your computer!

I live in China(one of the most censored state) from some time and this was the best free service available but this recent change forcing to switch the search engine have made me look for alternatives. Very disappointed to see such a service loose its core principle of giving users freedom to choose

Why use the 'smartwebfinder.com' ?

Force search engine change all of a sudden, out of nowhere, which itself undermining it's own promised to "Unlock the internet" by locking it to MicroDickMove.

what's wrong with this vpn, opening hundreds of " https://ultrasurfing.com/ " tabs whenever I try to connect?! one tab is enough! Edit: Ultra just disabled itself and asked me to give it permission to change my search engine to sth else in order to re-enable it! that offered search engine had a weird name I couldn't even read it! does extensions have right to forcefully change a user's search engine in order to allow that user to use that extension?!!!

I love it have been using for about a week and does what i need it to do will give a final full break down review at the end of this month.

So far the one extension for Chrome, which managed to unblock pages in VK (VKontakte) banned by f-word putin's RosKomPozor. 5 stars. No problems with wi-fi, viruses and so on.

every time I open chrome while ultrasurf is connected, this extension opens like 1000 new tabs and my pc stops working for almost 10 minutes. it's worse than any virus. my chrome is latest version and also this vpn

This extension works as its pose to but it keeps the ultra surf website

its a great vpn but it open a tab showing there website updates its ok if its one or two tabs but it opens many tabs and its annoying and envasive if you can just turn it off it and add a feature where the extension just shows the updates ok imagine this if you were doing work and you were close to the deadline and just was redirected to its website its just troublesome i encountered this problem alot
