Use a different password for different sites, the smart way. All you need to remember is one password. You do not need to enter this password every time you want to log in. All you need to do is click on the key icon in your toolbar and copy the password. Any data you enter are encrypted using the AES-256 standard (which is approved and used by the US Government for "TOP SECRET" grade material). This is more secure than using the SuperGenPass bookmarklet (as with Cygen, sites are unable to retrieve your master password, and your password is not stored in plaintext). All data are encrypted on-the-fly and are not transmitted outside of your computer (feel free to do a code audit: https://github.com/andryou/cygen) I highly recommend using this along with LastPass: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lastpass/hdokiejnpimakedhajhdlcegeplioahd?hl=en Credits to SuperGenPass for the idea and password generation code. I love this extension and have used it for a couple of years now. The only thing it lacks in my opinion is the option to create saved profiles, and the option for the salt to persist across resets. Having to enter it every time the stored data resets makes it a lot less useful in my opinion.
ill give it a try. looks real good so far
A very good implementation of the SuperGenPass aglorithm, with a great UI and secure! As for the other comment, it uses a "master" Password to generate passwords for each site, it does not release your user-chosen password.
