Didn't work for me; just kept loading with no result.
I was able to successfully download PDF from LinkedIn. LinkedIn itself showed just slideshow of downscaled images, but PDF I downloaded with this extension contains actual searchable text and illustrations in the original quality. Obviously this depends on what actually uploaded in the first place, if somebody uploaded just PDF made of images without any text, then this is what you will get. Great extension! Not sure what the other negative review is about, where somebody complained "can not use", for me at least, it was easy to use and I encountered no issues so far.
