Simple, easy and amazingly handy when you just want a VPN-like connection in your browser and not the rest of your machine.

5 star extension from the best VPN provider, hands down

when i click on connect button, nothing happens. This occurs occasionally and I have to use the extension since they do not have a stable version of application for Linux which crashes all the time. might migrate to another VPN server after my subscription ends.

The vpn is alright. The extension is actual garbage. hardly works in China. Using the desktop app is one of the only ways to use this vpn.

The app needs to be started manually when browser opens whereas in the past it started automatically. This needs a fix please!

Have been a satisified user for a couple of years now. Latest update has ruined it. Constantly will not connect to the local Aussie servers. Why fix it when it's not broken. Now, it's well and truly broken.

For the latest update -- the new interface is cool and all, but I am having problem connecting the VPN in China. It was great before the update.

Been using with huge success in china before, but with this new updated interface, the Location that I choose keeps reverting to the default all the time, which is not good.

I am in china and have had sporadic at best luck with vpns. I just downloaded VPN.AC secure proxy and I can't get over the speed and ease of this extension.I hope its initial performance is a sign of finally having quality internet access. To use it you do need to sign up with VPN.AC but it appears to be well worth it.

Aweeeeeeesome extension! Live in China and have been using a VPN for years. It is always a hassle to connect/disconnect when using normal VPN software, especially if you switch between using Chinese local sites and foreign sites. Also connecting often takes a little while and can be unstable, both with VPN.ac and other providers I have been with (For example express VPN) This takes care of all of that! It connects without user interference, its always on, and its always quick! Now I just use IE for my Chinese sites and Chrome with VPN for the rest. Also, technical support is GREAT. They have gone above and beyond in answering my questions, and even reinstated my connection temporary free of charge so I could access my email and pay. 5 stars.

Been using this vpn for years. Friends in China using other VPNs at least occasionally complain of connectivity issues. I've never had a problem connecting via Secureproxy's VPN.ac browser extension.

An increasing number of servers cannot be conneected in China. If the plugin cannot connect to the selected server, the plugin automatically reset. This force users to spend time to click the plugin again in order to load the list of servers.

speed is absolutely insane with this addon. Best service used in years!

This is fantastic, especially for chromebooks and heavily restricted corporate networks. Will unblock any website that is being blocked at the corporate or govt level just fine. I also find it useful for testing DNS issues easily (turn on proxy, is website reachable on public internet, ok good, turn off proxy) Highly recommended and speeds are decent. Plus if you sign up to vpn.ac you get a whole encrypted vpn product to use on windows pcs and android phones.

Used this on a recent trip to Beijing and it worked great. Could basically do my usual browsing. Of course, it works only through Chrome, so I was unable to use my usual ftp or work with terminal. But that just underscored the fact that the extension really works.

the best thing ever created for vpn user in china.. you can keep all china services on like qq and other stuff and at the same time have dedicated vpn browser exp!!!!

Awesome extension! :) Only thing it would be awesome if you could exclude 127.0.0.1/localhost connections from the proxy tunnel, otherwise it breaks some of my other extensions (like 1Password) communicating with the main app.

This works very well in Colorado! It's super-easy to set up, and I don't notice any speed change in my connection. I'm going to China soon so I look forward to using it there too.
