all you have to do is go to task manager and select forticlient and end task, it crashes forticlient and you can go on to most blocked sites

this is a mistake, it blocks bassically everything i have to contact my friends like discord, and i cannot uninstall it because it "was installed by your administrator"! this is on my home laptop which the school shouldnt be able to control. worst app ever

The creators use this as spyware and malware, this should be removed from chrome web store to protect the people who were forced to install this by the schools.

The extension is so trash. Our school administrators installed this chrome extension on our computers even though the school's Wi-Fi blocks most of the sites that students are not allowed access to. Fortinet blocks even educational sites, like google classroom. In my case, it blocked every single website. This extension is also dysfunctional and doesn't work as intended like the company claimed. Check their website and look at their reviews, all of them are 5 stars even though the majority of Fortinet's review is negative. In my opinion, I don't think this extension should even be on the chrome web store and don't even know how this application got verified.

Horrible. Used this during school to focus, but half the stuff i need and use is blocked. Makes the device EXTREMELY glitchy and doesnt help at all.

We run Forticlient EMS and enabled the web browser extension setting, installed this extension and have nothing but problems. - Continuosly notifies to install it, even after installed. - Webpages will not load. Fortinet did not test this extension with Chrome properly as it is absolutely full of bugs. Do not use this extension. It works well on MS Edge which is unbelievable.

my school added it to my Chromebook but it only works when i open something the first time i just try to open it again and it opens its annoying and useless

A lot of folks in these reviews have talked about what the extension won't allow you to do in Chrome once it's installed. I couldn't care less about that. I rated this 1 star because it won't stop prompting me to install it and activate it, despite the fact that I obviously have it installed and activated (or else I wouldn't be able to review it). I can't make the prompts stop (they are incessant) and even my IT team can't figure out how to stop the prompts. It's required by my company (Congratulations to the FortiClient sales team for selling the absolute worst product on the planet successfully), so I can't remove it. I would quit using Chrome over this if I wasn't so pot committed with all of my settings. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to click on something in the bottom right of my window and the prompt comes up and I accidentally click on it, even if I'm not in the Chrome window. It takes me to a screen where I'm asked to install and enable an extension that is already installed and enabled It's disgraceful that in this digital age a product that is this dysfunctional is able to exist. Any companies or organizations that are thinking about enabling this extension, please do not do so unless you want your users to stop using Chrome. I couldn't be more sincere in this review, and I hope it prevents someone from making the same mistake that my company made.

This extension is so trash. I use Discord to talk to friends so I can help them or get help. I even have a homework server where my classmates can help each other. But stupid Fortinet locks it for no reason. Blocks educational websites too.I don't really play games but this extension tries so hard to be good, making it horrible.

guys all you have to do is use task manager on it, just press search+esc on a chromebook, make sure not to let anyone, not a single person, animal, or molecule about this, especially a teacher, also, ending it's process only gives you enough time to click on the blocked site before it re-enables, now write this down and never let any adult see this review! It's a virus. Don't install it. You may need to format your PC after installing this extension.

It corrupted all my browser extensions. My antivirus detected it as a virus. Moreover my PC just went into a blank screen.

It doesn't help at all. I don't know why schools use this it is like the YouTube algorithm it blocks unnecessary websites and doesn't block ones that could harm my computer. 0.001/10 in my book
