If the video already has subtitles in both languages, you cannot choose to display the originally added one. It insists on translating. It seems like a simple feature to add.

its great but i noticed that for chinese videos that already have subtitles in both engligh and chinese, that the option available to click the default available chinese subtitles is not there. It is mahcines translating the engligh subtitles into chinese but i want the chinese sutibtitles in the video. Its probably because in the default languages listed to choose, you have Chinese listed as Chinese (simplified) and Chinese (traditional) and the chinese video has its manually translated sutbtitles listed as Chinese (chinese). This is the best extension for learning a language. I can finally run two captions at once. It works perfectly and integrates itself into the YouTube UI so well that you'd think it was build by YouTube themselves.

Only one problem: it redirect me to yahoo when I use google search

works perfectly it is different with the desctiptions in the extension menu, needs a reload of the page to work and the options are now embedded into the youtube video setting.

How to make UBlock Origin filter YouTube dual subtitles?

Just what I was looking for! Super helpful for learning languages!

This implementation is working great. Translated captions appear side by side and can be highlighted to copy and paste easily. The downloaded subtitles allows you to download any language, and bilingual subtitles as well into a single spaced text file or srt file. You can switch easily back to regular captions right from the settings wheel within the player. All properties of the CC font can be changed but the setting pane is lacking a preview.

I often use 【沙拉查词https://saladict.crimx.com】to translate(划词翻译)【YouTube™ dual subtitles】‘s subtitles, because 沙拉查词 can show more meanings on word. So, if I put the mouse point cover the subtitles, the subtitles's top left will show 【rectangle(it have 2*4=8 points)】. Could you please hide the 【rectangle】or let it can custom settings (opacity、color 、shape、etc.) very convenient and powerful extension，very very thank you!

This extension is amazing!

I like the idea and the look of it. However, it seems that it shows a youtube subtitle and the second is an auto translation of the first subtitle. It would be better if both subtitles shown were directly from the video. Example: How it is - Watching video in Japanese language audio, English subtitles are provided by the video itself. Japanese subtitles are translation of the english subtitles rather than what the people are actually saying in Japanese. What would be better - English subtitles provided by the video. Japanese subtitles provided by video. Auto-translate is fine for both, as long as it's translating the audio rather than the other subtitles.

I mainly use this for Custom font ONLY DISADVANTAGE - i can say is that when subtitles are auto-generated the custom font doesnt apply but it does apply if there are subtitles available PLZ FIX

why cannot use？It show every video No subtitle

can you make an option to choose the original or first subtitle and remember it every time like default subtitle or second sub because youtube not remember the subtitles you choose before or changed cause auto generated choose another one automatically and make an option to control in subtitle position and this extention will be perfect

Really excellent. In some ways, it's better than Language Reactor. For one thing, it's more straightforward and smaller in size, with nothing hidden behind a paywall. I prefer this over Language Reactor on YouTube, and I use Language Reactor on Netflix because there's no better alternative there.

this is so useful basically i can costumize everyting. except the location of the subtitle, I want to move the default subtitle a bit up. if possible could you add to it. it'd be perfect

如果能支持鼠标悬停暂停视频并查单词（英汉释义或英英释义，如eJoy那样）就更好了，不然现在只能用OCR取词查词，很多时候因为视频背景的干扰而OCR很容易出错。

能不能加个功能，设置字幕在视频的上方，这样看教程会比较方便

its really good but there is one problem..it shows on sub ant the other is translation when i used it in tedex it shows arabic sub with english translation although there was an english sub in the video.

doesn't work at all I reloaded the youtube video several times, the extension literally does nothing

It's so nice and good. However, I would like to be able to adjust the subtitle color or size. (Currently, the gray text seems to be inferior to the basic color of YouTube)
