Window Layout Resizer is a productivity chrome extension. it's a free extension , it has 1,000+ active users since released its first version, it earns an average rating of 4.43 from 7 rated user, last update is 1543 days ago.
This extension allows you to adjust the current window layout size to the commonly used sizes (like half, one-third, or quarter window sizes). You can define your own custom layout size from the options page or change the order of items that are shown in the popup window. The extension is compatible with high resolution (HD) (like Retina) displays and handles multiple monitors very well. Also, the layout settings work fine if a monitor is replaced (percentages are stored instead of the absolute values). This can be used to split your screen into different sections and place different web pages into different areas. Works like a charm. Just an chrome window resizer with built in presets — and it's awesome, no quirks.
It does what it says but there's simply no way to create a preset at specific pixel dimensions, even though there's fields right in the options that could support it.
After installation, needed to restart Chrome to detect the second monitor, but after that works really great.
