This was an excellent extension for many years. Worked as promised, no bugs, no weird permissions. Perfect right up until the day Amazon killed off the Smile program. Thanks for your help and your extension, dev. Much appreciated. I'll keep the extension installed, just turned off -- just in case something changes.
Always worked without a flaw. An excellent extension. (I'll leave it on my system, just turned off in case the below gets changed.) But Amazon says: "Amazon closing AmazonSmile to focus its philanthropic giving". So basically: "WE want to give what you spend on what WE want to give to. You're not important." Which, if they didn't have Smile already set up, seems reasonable (because we are an income source, not dear friends). But to take all the good will and "I'll spend a little more since it benefits something I like" and just flush it... Poor PR, poor business sense. Especially since the % given was so tiny. Just another example of "Has Amazon been infiltrated by corporate saboteurs?" level of poor corporate choices.
Great extension - never had any problems, didn't need any weird data access, and made it easy to use a helpful charity program. Unfortunately, Amazon has now ended the Smile program, but I just wanted to drop some appreciation for what was a great and useful extension.
