What’s new in version 1.2?

                BaCon is a chrome extension that gives you access to all kinds of bioinformatic tools in a handy right-click context menu. Whenever you select a sequence with your mouse and right-click on the selection, you will see the BaCON menu, containing a lot of tools both for nucleotide sequences and protein sequences. The tools you want to have in the menu is fully customizable and contains many commonly used tools, such as BLAST and many tools from the EMBOSS package. BaCON allows you to use these tools directly when you find an interesting sequence, without having to save it to file or finding the correct web site to enter your data. To use BaCON, just mark the sequence, right-click, and select your tool. That’s all there is to it.
