What’s new in version 1.1.1?

Links haven't changed since their inception a long time ago. These days a link can take you just about anywhere. Wouldn't it be really handy if you had some indication of what you were clicking on? With Link Alert you do! It'll highlight links with a little tooltip indicating where the link is likely to take you. For example, links to PDFs show a small PDF icon in the tooltip, external links show an icon and you can even see which links aren't secure from secure pages.

You have the option to select which icons are shown as well as changing some aspects of the display of the tooltip, such as the background and border colours.

The extension will also be updated regularly to include new icons and options. Updates can be found from the options for the extension.

Thrilled you forked this for Chrome and Chromium-based browsers. It's working in Vivaldi browser too. Some bugs whether in Chrome or Vivaldi. On certain pages, haven't figured out the pattern yet, the icons end up being giant-sized, and vertically-oriented. Which also flips the X Y offset settings. They end up being treated as images that are on top of the link, preventing the link from being either clicked or right-click copied. Articles on Rollingstone.com and some on CNN often display this problem. But great effort for a first fork to Chromium, and your adding the toolbar button for enable/disable makes it easy to turn off on sites with the problem, in order to get links to work.

Awesome! I used this little addon with Firefox, but I have big bugs from version 29 ... I revert to chrome and I find this extension! I just installed it and I'll see if customization is also good to see better on Firefox! Thank you!
