Default Amazon Sort is a amazon extension for chrome. also, it is shopping extension. it's a free extension , it has 374 active users since released its first version, it earns an average rating of 4.09 from 11 rated user, last update is 1701 days ago.
UPDATE: Based on feedbacks in Reviews, I have added Prime-Only selection support in the extension! I am not happy when Amazon search results end up showing "Featured" product sort order by default. I am more interested in getting a sort order of my choice as default so I do not have to manually change it everytime I search for a product. Therefore, I ended up building this chrome extension that automatically shows only the sort order that I want to see. So, if you are like me and you want to set a default sort method instead of always clicking on the sort order and selecting "Average Customer Reviews" or "Price: Low to High", this extension is for you. It will save you a click and selecting the right sort order. There is also an OFF switch if you choose to go wild and opt for a different sort method without changing your default. This is an early release. I will keep updating it every now and then. Please send me your honest critical feedback on [email protected]. It will make me build a better product for a bigger set of audience. THANK YOU!

Like one of the other reviewers I've become so frustrated with having to RE-select the Amazon sort mode everytime I make a new search. Like she says, so much wasted time, so much unnecessary stress, especially as it always seems to take several seconds after the page loads before you can access the "Sort by drop-down menu", which, being very impatient, always seems to result in my pressing the "sort by" menu button again, which in turn exits that menu - more frustration!!! I've always thought that there must be a way to set a default "sort by" within Amazon but I've never found it. However I stumbled on this extension whilst "Googling" the issue. I loaded the extension into my Chrome Browser quite easily. The first time I tried it, it didn't do anything! I then realised that I already had the Amazon UK website open, so I closed the Amazon UK website and re-loaded it and Hey Presto it leapt into action. There is a small delay after the page loads and you see the Website auto select the sort mode and Amazon Prime, then your off... I've tried it several times and it works fine, both setting default search to "Price: Low to High" and selecting "Amazon Prime". So far its absolutely brilliant, thank you so so much.
When changing pages of search results it auto loads amazon "Help & Customer Service" page - after every new page of results it is loaded. Can back up into results, but is a pain....
It seems to be unable to detect Smile because it can only read the following sites: https://www.amazon.ae/* https://www.amazon.ca/* https://www.amazon.cn/* https://www.amazon.co.jp/* https://www.amazon.com.au/* https://www.amazon.com.br/* https://www.amazon.com.mx/* https://www.amazon.com.sg/* https://www.amazon.com.tr/* https://www.amazon.com/* https://www.amazon.de/* https://www.amazon.es/* https://www.amazon.fr/* https://www.amazon.in/* https://www.amazon.it/* https://www.amazon.nl/* https://www.amazon.uk/* Many other extensions have made this list a lot shorter by changing the 'readable url' list to *://*.amazon.com/* and then only listing regional variations of the domain name.
