This is a work in progress to make the IFTTT UI better on desktop. This project is open source. If you'd like to contribute, please do so. I would love for this to be a community project. Some Significant Modifications: - Everything is smaller - Header bar is fixed to the top of the screen while scrolling - Navigation menu is always visible and expanded horizontally across header - Some buttons such as Back and Settings are also fixed while scrolling Source Code: https://github.com/burkybang/Better-IFTTT-UI Firefox Version: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/better-ifttt-ui

As a frequent IFTTT user that is constantly creating webhooks and other connections on my desktop PC, I absolutely love this desktop-optimized view for IFTTT. It's crazy that so many websites just waste horizontal space like this. I have a few suggestions that I believe would make this extension and everyone's IFTTT even better: - First, remove the 'You made a new Connection!" bar that appears at the top of the browser window or move it to the bottom of the screen. Yeah, I know I just made a new applet. Now stop blocking the button that lets me make a new one! :D - Second, sneak in a create applet button. Normally to make a new applet one has to click "Explore" and then "Create". While I know this is just one extra step, heavy IFTTT users like myself could do without it and instead just have a create button on the top menu bar. The url is simply "https://ifttt.com/create". - Third, zoom things in a little more. The whole website looks really small and kind of pixelated on my 27" 1080p display when the extension is running. I've compensated by zooming the site to 110% (Thanks, chrome for letting me set a per-site zoom level!) I have a few more minor suggestions but that's pretty much it. To reiterate, this is a great extension that appears to be quite underrated. It's crazy that IFTTT's UI is as bad as it is! PS: I have some experience with HTML and CSS and designing layouts.
