Widows are those single words that have been bumped down to the final line of a paragraph or headline. To a sophisticated design eye, this sticks out like bad kerning on snarky t-shirt. This extension is guaranteed* to fix 95% of all widows, and it does it invisibly for every website that you visit. (*not guaranteed.) One tiny bit of code makes sure that at least two words show up on the final line of paragraphs or headlines. That means it doesn't add to page load and has been proven (through very very little testing) to not mess around with how sites are intended to look. As soon as you install the extension, it will begin working. How do you know it is working? IT IS. There may still be a few widows here and there (such as some dynamically loaded content) but they should be few and far between.
You could download the latest version crx file or older version files and install it.

Hi Mark, LOL.
This extension interferes with WordPress interfaces. When enabled, I can't enter text (for posts, for instance). It took me a lot of goofing around, enabling/disabling extensions to find out that this was the one causing the problem. The extension itself is a nice idea, but I had to remove it for this reason.
