What’s new in version 2.8?
Displays number and list of tabs opened on the current or all Chrome windows. New: detects duplicate tabs and auto closes stale tabs (configurable).
Features:
- Extension icon and icon tooltip displays total number of tabs on all windows.
- Click the icon to get number of tabs opened on that window and list of tabs with:
- Tab's favicon.
- A 'x' to close the tab.
- Title of the tab that you can click to go to the tab.
- Tab's URL by hovering the mouse over the title.
- [optional] Detect duplicate tabs. Contributed by: github.com/rgluga
- [optional] auto-close tabs that are X days stale. Contributed by: github.com/rgluga
Configurable option:
- Display list of tabs in the current or all windows.
Notes: To get data on incognito window[s], go to extension's settings on chrome://extensions/ and select the 'Allow in incognito' checkbox.

I liked it, really. It does count tabs on the browser. There are other options such as Auto-close of tabs after Nth numbers of days you may set. I recommend it the extension. Thank you, developer.
It works. Does everything it promises!
Works, and then not work, the options settings just don't work after some changes. Seems to be fixed, anyway it's not what I'm searching for. BTW, the option "Detect and prompt duplicate tab creation." just don't work.
