UPDATED: 26 March 2023 I like its simple control panel, and its ability to start reading any paragraph with just a single click of the mouse, but the pause/play button doesn't respond well at times, and it sometimes skips reading some paragraphs. Furthermore, unlike most other text-to-speech extensions, there is no option to read selected text via right click context menu. The extension also lacks an "Options/Settings" that provides, for example, a choice to change the colour for text (paragraph) highlighting from the current glaring bright yellow.
Simple, lightweight, but only works sometimes. It's skips paragraphs with no way to intervene and focus on text that was skipped over. Was using read aloud which was very good but recent updates made it buggy and unusable. I installed this and it works ok but has issues
I click on the extension and nothing happens...nothing popped up. After trying several times i tried other pages then worked. There are other apps that give you more options of English voices and features.
