Micheal, You claim it can be uninstalled, yes it can, but it is reinstalled automatically on the next launch of Chrome. So in that respect it can not be removed, only disabled. Using the method you suggest "chrome://extensions/ and removing the app there, or you can right click the extension and click on "Remove from Chrome". " just results in the extension reinstalling itself on the next launch of Chrome. I have found no permanent method of removing this app from Chrome
The extension cannot be uninstalled. I have already attempted almost every method I can think of, and while all of them DO remove the extension, it just reinstalls itself on the next restart of the browser/device, or even on sign-ins to new devices. Methods attempted also included the following: "You can uninstall the application by going to chrome://extensions/ and removing the app there, or you can right click the extension and click on 'Remove from Chrome'. " I find it hard to believe that this isn't malware.
