I have to say this is probably the best Clipboard Extension out there. I have not upgraded to Pro yet but I am sure I will. It is such a time saver. Thank you to the creators.

Hi Denis, Thanks for this! This is an indispensible tool. But can you please add the option to retain the formatting of the text for all saves (and not just the last one)? The ability to categorize/tag saves would also be appreciated. Thanks again :)

My favorite extension. Makes copying and pasting a breeze. I recommend it to everyone. I use the free version and it saves all of my copies. You can even favorite things you would frequently paste and add keywords for easy serching. I LOVE this tool. You don't need the paid version for it to save anything, it offers it to you sometimes but you just click the X. It also doesn't delete anything as long as your settings are set to do so. Fudging rocks.

You can only click and see your history if you pay for the pro version now...lovely.

Great tool for the free version. You can also select on keyboard Windows Key + V to paste from muli-copied items.

Some of the free options are being taken away and making them only available if you sign up for the Pro version.

I love this extension! I've had no issues at all using it. It saves me time and enables me to save frequently used text to a Favorites section where its readily available. Kudos and a huge thank you to the developer of this incredible tool.

This extension is very much good, best for me to save text seamlessly. just so easy... wow thanks to the developer.

Not working now

just loved it. very useful to me during my office to manage customer's data in a good way and the merge feature saves alot of time.

Support is non-existent. I tried emailing them twice to help with an account update. Had to wait a week apart to no avail. Eventually canceled subscription. Not recommended.

I upgraded to the pro version because of the shortcut feature. However, I am at a fix about using that feature. Any rep to walk me through? I saw through some of the comments about using alt + shift+ Number but in my case, it posts random text other than text that shortcut was assigned to. Any help?

Its okay, the constant pop ups to upgrade its annoying though, and your pricing makes no sense

-- Needs a Firefox version Like many users, I rely on Firefox and use Google Chrome sparingly. That's why I suggest making this for those users to lean on as well.

I am experiencing the same issue!! This Extension used to be amazing.It has started clearing out the clipboard, it did not use to do this. I'm glad that the developer allows the user to back up where the user was and the in-porting of the backed-up file. So I am going to ask the developer to address this problem. Giving the developer the well deserved option to update this Extension. I am sure that it is a code change in Chrome. NOT something that the developer caused or has neglected to do..

Used to be amazing. Now it randomly wipes everything from time to time without warning. Really disappointing, but will now remove from Chrome.

It just the best

This extension has been amazing and invaluable for years but it abruptly starting performing terribly today and deleted my 20k+ clipboard history, which I made the mistake of not backing up because I'd never had a single issue prior. The interface has also become virtually unusable and takes 5-10 seconds to register any input. Back to 5 stars if I can somehow recover my lost history and if the unusable UI is fixed :(

For some strange reasons this extension starts using high resources after some time and make browser lag, only solution is disable this extension and enable after sometime.

Excellent tool for cut and pasting witin Chrome....and then carrying to other applications.

It's a great chrome extension. I save time and it is easy to use. However, every few months I lose all of my Clipboard history. I have a few thousand entries. So I recommend backing it up regularly. I have the free plan. I would buy the pro if they offered a one time price. I still recommend it and give it 5 stars.

Does exactly what its supposed to do but in the last day or two this extension has caused my Brave browser to lag uncontrollably at all times. The only way to browse the internet is by disabling this addon

Used to be great,! But suddenly all my clipboard history was removed, second time now! I did NOT have the "only store 150" setting on, and it still removed EVERYTHING except the last clipping. Thank the heavens I was running Ditto on my desktop, so not all is lost! I did make backups but some reason those disappeared too. So it's a bit my fault in that sense, but we cannot just make backups MANUALLY every single day either. And not everyone can afford the cloud. So I'm just going to have to remove for now.

Works pretty good with the free version but I have to dock off a star, I bought premium and it only works with Chrome browser apparently and I use a different browser that uses the chrome engine, therefore I cannot access the pro features. I dont have this problem with other extensions that uses gmail to access the subscription. I wish this wouldve been clear upfront. Edit: It works perfectly, thank you dev for your response, I was able to access the premium features. My gmail account that I subscribed with was different from the one I was logged in with. 5 Stars !

It is blocking other shortcut key, ex shift+alt+3. Why

Really do love this tool. I use it everyday for work. I definitely purchased the Pro version so I can sync the settings with other devices. Suggestions: 1. Please extend the (Alt+Shift+1, 2 or 3) shortcut to all number keys 1 thru 9. 2. Please make it possible to add color to the tags. Bug: When using the (Alt+Shift+1, 2 or 3) shortcuts, it adds a space in front of each line when it's pasted. This creates more work for the users and because of this, it cannot be called a shortcut. Thanks!

This ext is good in design, but buggy. Does not delete history. Unusable.

Best extension ever created!

This is such a useful extension! I find it very handy when I need to save snippets of text or other important details in a pinch. Once one goes to having their entire clipboard at the ready, even though browser closing and computer shutdowns, one can never go back to having access to one thing at a time.

Works fine as an extension, but it needs a few tweaks. 'Cause it'll start out fine, but then it has days where it won't let me access what I've copied. Then in a few days, it'll delete all the history, even though I have it set where it's not supposed to do that.

Love this extension, it's saved my bacon quite a few times.

I somehow lost all my hundreds of clips with no interaction on my part. This was worse by far than if I had never used this extension at all.

Amazing extension, exactly what I wanted. I really appreciate the fact that there's an option for a ''pro'' version, though it's not forced down your throat. Everything works perfectly, and I very much appreciate the extra organization features. Thanks for this!

THE PLUGIN DELETED ALL MY SAVED ITEM.

There was a bug when I'm using it in Facebook Marketplace, the text is pasted but suddenly gone.

Fantastic extension. A very handy way to retrieve clipboard history contents. Very much worth adding to your Chrome environment.

worked great until upon a whim it decided to delete my entire history! 800 items gone like that! all my important links and everything that i haven't transferred gone! really made my day! i'll keep it for a bit in the vain sliver of hope that it could come back or until something happens but its unlikely. overall a stressful experience, i don't know what else to say, the one star review is pretty self explanatory. i got a app to keep my clipboard history and it didn't do that.

Very useful. Minor bug. When I try to delete all (say 40+) clips by clicking the [x] box to select all; then [Delete]: - the marked clips shown in the list are deleted - the count remains at [15] but all 15 remaining clips do not appear in the list - rerunning the clipboard app shows the remaining 15 clips - they need to be deleted in the second try

To copy multiple items one by one can be done in Microsoft work and clipomatic.

This used to be a really solid extension. Now you have to put up with multiple "upgrade" notifications every day. I've gotten at least 4 today in 24 hours. It's pretty ridiculous and I'm ready to ditch it because of this.

Had been a great extension but recently modified to cause continual pop-up nags to buy "pro". If someone doesn't need pro, annoying them on a daily basis won't get them to buy it. I'm looking for another extension that is not as noisome.

Amazing Tool to speed up your work. Works as intended, ability to backup, cross device installation is smooth, Loved it.

The basic version is indispensable, for my needs. Use it often.

Excellent extension that I now use every day. A couple of options that would suit my needs, and maybe other users... 1. The ability to sort favourites the way I want them rather than the order they were entered. 2. The ability to delete all 'non favourites' with one click rather than having to select each one. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic MUST-HAVE utility. I use it hundreds of time a day and it hasn't let me down. The support team is highly responsive and keeps the extension up-to-date. Wish they moved from a subscription service though.

One of the handiest extensions I have ever user. Especially the Pro version, that will sync my information between all my devices. Windows clipboard, Win+V, works just fine, but Clipboard History Pro is so much better.

i love this work. people search for clipboard enhancements for MONTHS before finding something that works for them. this one hits almost all my buttons. I'd like to have an outright purchase price, and i'd also love to be able to have an auto tab added at the end of each paste, along with maybe a space, or other char padded pre or post, but the auto tab means i'd be ready to just keep filling in addresses, etc. to be fair the "stay on top as separate process" is done perfectly, the widget NEVER hides when i change focus. That's REALLY important and many programmer don't take the care that these authors do. WONDERFUL work...

Unacceptable that I cannot upgrade to Pro monthly/ cant try the monthly plan and you force me to trail the annual plan. 1 Start.

Very useful. full of great features. I would like to support and pay for pro but proce is higher than other extensions that I use just as much. If pro this was in the 1.99 per month it would be a no brainer! But make no mistake , it is an awesome extension.

Just saved me a lot of headache. I cut an entire cell of codes then forgot to past it before cutting another one. luckily I had this extension. It saved me a very bad day. only came here to thank!

As useful as water! I have just installed the extension and I already feel it will be my companion for long... I see already in the history text that I have copied before installing the app, that's fantastic!

I can't reproduce it but when working with excel with lots of data and powerpivot tables, this extension suddenly took 4GB of the RAM by itself, and hanged my PC, had to wait a long time then terminate it using task manager, wonder if it's picking up the data I copied from excel by mistake and had a memory leak? Anyways I found about windows clipboard manager so I'm uninstalling, good extension.

When I try to export my clipboard history to a format such as CSV, I find that some entries I copied are missing. I may pay for the full version of this product after this issue is resolved. I am using the latest release of Chrome 64-bit and Clipboard History Pro (the free version).

Used to love this extension. Then I restart chrome one day and all of my clip board history from 2+ years is gone, over 20k copy and saves and some useful favorites there. Just randomly deleted for no reason. I knew the devs were pushing towards upgrading to pro for a while but Id never imagine something like this would happen. I think I exported as a file once but Id have to search for it.

This extension is a life saver for writing complex articles, emails, reports and reflections at the same time. I just love being able to grab text when I accidentally do another cut when moving an item.. AND going back in time to find well-stated info. Works great!!

I've been using this for months and would give it 5 stars for its functionality... until one day about a week ago it stopped working. Now, nothing loads and the little icon is grey. I'm not sure if there are known extensions that interfere with it, but I've disabled other extensions to see what helps and nothing brings it back to working. I've tried using other clipboards in place of it, but they simply do not compare. Can we get this bug fixed please? :)

Absolutely essential. It would be nice if there were an Android version. It would be nice to have the option to give a donation. I don't need the pro version options currently, but I feel I should offer something for such a great add on.

i love this clipboard utility it make computing the ease we were promised it would be i use it in conjunction with and Input Director program that lets you use one mouse and keyboard for several computers on the same LAN so if i copy a thing on any computer it is copied to the clipboard of all the computers very neat and handy Thank you so much for this Add On : )

It makes it so convenient to collect pieces of information at will with a simple ctrl-C. My favorite use for this is after copying the url's of a bunch of Youtubes. It's convenient to be able to just merge and paste it all into an app (such as youtube-dl, free for Linux) to download all of them in the background.

Yesterday, I had a high school English test, and had to write an essay. We had to use some special software, that in order to prevent cheating disallows you to exit the program before handing in the essay. I wrote quite a decent essay, if I may say so myself, and I wanted to have it saved, so I copied it to clipboard. After I had finished it and closed the software, I forgot to paste the bloody essay in a separate document before I shut down the computer. I thought I would never see it again. Then, this morning, I looked through the entries in this extension, and lo and behold, the copied essay was still there. Thank you, Clipboard History, for your excellent extension; you saved my life.

why the extension always crash on my chrome? if i copy some text and click extension icon they will disappear and crash.

I've used this extension and it works as described, but it states in the specs that the cost is A$0.99 - A$4.99 per item. But, the only option is $4.99, no mention of anything cheaper. And, 5 bucks a month for a clipboard app seems a bit too pricey in my opinion.

I appreciate your efforts in making Clipboard History Pro available. It is a useful, practical tool with its optional cloud capability as icing on the cake when working between mobile and desktop. The additional "Pro" features would only be a marginal improvement for me. And certainly not at $4.99 per month. I'd suggest a modest purchase option of the standard version or other way to support your development. Or at least a more reasonable subscription amount.
