I really want to give this 5 stars, but I haven't been able to make the presentations completely full screen. You can still see the tool bar and such at the top of the screen. Would love to see an update fixing this! I've search all over the internet to find a solution, but could not, unless someone knows and can share!
Haa, this was a life...I can't imagine how I would live my life without it. Thank you to the developer
I really enjoy this extension. I used it a lot before the pandemic and jsut started again. I thought at first that it was broken as the ID Code was not showing up but i think i found it. Pressing present with remote and then entering fullscreen and pressing "S" to open speaker notes there should be a little arrow on the side of the speaker notes that opens the panel with the ID code on it. a bit convoluted so would hope it gets moved soon
Nice plugin! We use it in our team for global meeting presentations with several presenters. Only draw back is the first time clicking the "Next Slide" button by each presenter it goes backwards instead of forward. Any chance that can be solved?
Love this tool but I think it is broken now – I cannot find the code after clicking Present with Remote
cant find remote id
Can multiple users have control over the same deck? I tried testing with a colleague using the same access code and it only worked for one of us
Exactly what I was looking for! Great for presenting on Zoom with multiple people presenting and accessing their Speaker notes.
Fantastic simple, had issue setting up but that was my doing i installed app on my phone but not on my laptop
It now works! I can share my screen in the online meeting, while my colleagues can click next on their own devices! Perfect. OLD REVIEW: I bet its awsome, if it would work. If me or my colleagues enter the code and click connect, the line gets red and nothing happens
Great extension! It would be helpfull if their was a qrcode option. For the first and last slides the buttons should be grayed out to prevent confusion
So cool !! And free !! Love it man.
Please add some form of authentication. When someone gets code, they must enter some sort of password to control slides.
Just what I needed. Worked like a charm. Just remember to download the chrome extension if you are doing it on a different computer.
I've only been using it for a few minutes, but so far it looks to be the solution I was looking for! I'm using Microsoft Teams as a webinar platform. In Teams, you can't upload presentations and allow the presenter to advance them themselves. This will allow them to advance the slides that I'm sharing on my screen as the producer. This is great! Thank you.
Amazingly helpful and brilliant extension. Easy to use with minimal setup and simple to use interface. Would love it even more if you could see your notes while presenting.
Works very well. No complaints. Pleasantly surprised. Was happy to send a PayPal donation.
Exactly what I was looking for, love this plugin!
thebest
I'm a heavy user of google slides, I was looking into wireless remotes but wasn't convinced by any. This app is simple straight forward. Specially that they found a way to overcome the lack of iPhone app by accessing the associated website https://slides.limhenry.xyz/. Great relief, now I can walk around and stand away from my laptop while presenting.
This is an excellent app. Easy to use. Good job Henry! Only drawback is no support for iPhone.
So you did a remote control for slides, which not have the Play/Pause button for autoplay. No way to do it, all my presentation is based on that. Very nice, play and pause are definitely a very marginal function that nobody needs.
Is there a limit to how many remote apps one session would support? I was hoping to use this across a company that can have 5+ simultaneous users that can advance at different times without saying "next slide."
I just love this extension. Henry Lim deserves appreciation from everyone for this wonderful work. Thank you so much Lim ?
Thanks! I don't know why Google Slides doesn't have this yet. I can see my notes which is also very helpful.
Excellent. Works exactly as it says it does. Feature request: Ability to pin a slide deck and select that from the app without typing the numbers. (yes with google auth)
Does exactly what is says it'll do and works perfectly and seamlessly. I can even read the seeker notes from my phone screen, where was this all my life?!
Works really well!
This app is exactly what I was looking for!!! Quick Googling suggests a lot of articles that direct you to cast from your phone, which is hardly a solution at all. This does exactly what I want - using my phone to control my slides that are being presented from a web browser on my laptop. Best of all is the simplicity. I will be plugging my computer into a VGA port to display the slides, and this browser extension on my computer generates a code that I punch into a website and a very simple, clean browser-based controller pops up on my phone. I use Invert Colors for more subtlety and power-saving on my phone while displaying that page. No need for bluetooth connection to PC, no need for app download on the phone, no need for casting!!! Just awesome!!! Thank you dev
This was amazing. This saved my life. I was giving a 45 minute presentation, and I needed to be able to view my notes and control my presentation while in front of an audience. I tried using the Google Slides app, but there was no way to cast the screen to the computer that controlled the projector. I was also impressed with how much less of a delay there was as opposed to Chromecast on a TV. I would give this 6 stars if I could.
Pretty easy to use. The drawback is that it does not allow you to play video from in slides. I still have to walk over to the computer to do this. I would definitly use it if if has that capability.
Love this!
Absolutely brilliant! I've been looking for an app to use my phone as a remote on Google Slides (without casting or presenting via Hangouts, yuck!) for a long time and finally found it.
Doesn't properly support skipped slides, the navigation structure is weird, and there's no great way to pause or resume the timer from inside the remote.
Brilliant little app. I was all set to hunt down a physical remote for an upcoming presentation. Delighted to learn that all I needed was my phone. And I can have my slide notes right there in my hand as well.
It works, but there is no way to exit the presentation mode in a clean way. Unlike the normal "present" mode, there is no "exit" button. The only option will be "open editor", but that will open a new window, which is inconvenient. If there is an exit button, please tell me I am wrong, otherwise please add this feature and I will give a 5 star.
Love it! Great work!
works, gets the job done, no complains
Best extension to control your presentations! And the developer is active too!
Its good, but it could be a lot better if it showed a thumbnail of your current slide, and maybe the previous and next slide a little smaller :)
It doesn't show me my slides, notes, or questions...
very rudimentary & slow, unfortunately not so useful for me, maybe after several upgrades: see slides also on your remote device, jump to first slide, browse slides etc
Awesome plugin. Made it mandatory for my class to use this extension when they do presentations via Slides. Thanks for all your hard work on this.
I've only tested it once, but it worked well. It would be nice if you could add an option in the extension menu to automatically convert "edit" to "present" in the URL. I know it's a small thing, but some end users do not like editing URLs.
error at slides have animation
So far so good! We are trying to utilize Gsuite and chromebooks in our district! I think this would be very helpful to staff and students.
Thanks for this awesome work. Only issue, I facing not able to work on chrome on my MacOS. On Linux and windows it works perfectly.
I tried using it for a presentation but it would not change the slide while on the phone the slide number would change, am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for the great extension mate! I have looked for this kind of tool for google slide for years. It works perfectly. The best part is I can control my slide from any device. If you have an idea to launch app version of remote control, I am willing to purchase it Keep up to good work
I'm not getting a link. Uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times- as well as restarted my Chrome browser. It doesnt work.
Unfortunately the unique URL is never appearing, so it's not possible to control the presentation from another device.
Used this in my college presentations and it worked really good! Just think it would be wonderful if we can see speaking notes and a preview of the slide in mobile. oh, the BACK button would be a wonderful addition too
Nothing happens
Pretty cool, such a shame ou can't go back a slide in current version. Nice tool anyway
Pop up showed up once. I did not have time to write it down. Can not find it or get it to work. Should not be so complicated.
Super awesome product. It's easy to use, and don't take too much time to prepare. I'm looking forward to the "back" button ;)
Can only go forward. Cannot go backward isa deal breaker. No speaker notes. No slide on your phone.
This is a must have extension if you're presenting and the audience setup requires you talk from a standing position.
Great work ! I am going to check your GitHub and see if I can contribute to your project :)
I get the link but nothing happens!
How do I get the unique id to pop up? I follow the instructions, but nothing happens. Thanks!
Even with not being able to click backwards, still the best out there that doesn't require the installation of software on the home PC. Great simple solution to a deceivingly complex challenge.
Its great. If possible please add previous slide option as well
Good! I really liked it! Just that one can't slide backwards, but I will love to join the development and provide this functionality!!! Once again, thumbs up and keep walking!
