About the only thing easier for what I'm currently doing would be if I could trigger it from the toolbar, but when all you need to do is save multiple items to the default folder, this saves loads of time!
it re-downloads the image instead of using the one from the cache which is already downloaded by Chrome Waste of bandwidth if you are saving large and too many image files
