It worked! And Yes 50 videos max. Only thing is the playlist does not show on my account or any account for that matter. The only way to rally 'save' the playlist is by a adding the URL to a bookmark. eg: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=TLGGLKKvHR2Fxp4yMDAyMjAyMQ , that my unnamed playlist.
Great idea but doesn't seem to be working. Odds are Google screwed with the interface

Doesn't work. The Save to Playlist button never appears even after restarting chrome and reinstalling this extension.
