This is a well thought-out extension. It makes a poor page readable, and a good page even better. The defaults are well chosen, and the options are easy to change. Thank you

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS! It adds it's own search results to Google Searches which if you click on they make money from. This is blatant malware. It does do what it advertises, but if it's altering your google searches, it might be collecting your data as well as the owner is clearly a sell out

Although I use Instapaper, Pocket and Reader Mode I still find this app very useful and so free from clutter it actually makes reading a pleasure again rather than the usual ordeal by ads, distractions and images. So far I have found nothing it won't work on and just a simple copy and paste means I can keep anything important and add it my personal notes program (Zim Wiki)

ReadBee has a nice layout.. especially if you like to copy/paste like I do without getting the dating, word numbers, authorship info in the way as other readers put it. ReadBee doesn't get past paywalls as well as some other readers do.. that can cause time snags. For some reason it seems to have stopped working with my text auto copy extension. It's nice and simple.. a sort of Mom&Pop extension. There's many other readers with many more options. I'm keeping one with automatic start, and another that allows page editing. If you don't mind not having image options, chrome-based browser internal reader mode does a good job, but you have to Enable them by pasting chrome://flags/#enable-reader-mode in the address bar and clicking enable. An open-book icon shows in the address bar enabling reader view. Convenient. (though that doesn't work with my auto copy extension either) Another excellent option is InstaPaper (and that does work with my auto copy extension).

Text are not wrapped. some lines of text extend all the way to the right until its ends.

Can we have the old cute bee icon back? I miss it so much! I have been using this extension for years and just seeing the yellow bee logo makes me happy, Or else there are so many other reader extensions on the market that have more functions like text to speech, convert to PDF and speed reading. Readbee's old icon just made it easy to spot amongst a crowd of other extension icons, which was why it was my go-to reader extension.

It was truly wonderful at first, but after the recent update it no longer works on gmail, and I can't read simplified versions of newsletters on mail any more :(

Output poor due to lack of adding space between paragraphs. You just get a wall of text with no spacing. If you like that, you might like this extension more than I did, but I find it intolerable.

An exceptional peice of software. It is very fast and responsive, lightweight, accurate, and it even includes the images within the artcle! And very pleasingly removes all the distracting flashy stuff surrounding the article. I truly think this was very well implemented by the developer(s). It's simplistic in the features department, but the performance and accuracy wins users over 100%

I love the way it looks and how conformable it is to read long texts specially when I am studying.

add it to the right-click context .. add more fonts option to the read panel ..

Great extension. Thank you! I only wish it offered Times (New Roman or any of its variations) for that bookish look. Also, the only way I found to be able to expand its borders and use up the screen's full width, was by a combination of font size increasing and zooming in/out Chrome.

Best reader extension for chrome!!

Works fine on any webpage I tried it on. One small thing I discovered: I sometimes print a webpage to PDF for annotating it, and the ReadBee toolbar obscures the top of the text, a simple media query in the CSS that disables display of "rr-app-header" for print would remedy that.

A really great extension better and faster than mercury reader and is really smart really appreciate what the dev. is doing with the extension. Loved it!

IT don't work in sora

The view this extension allows is great, however it does not allow you to print properly. Every page of the print job appears as a repeat of the first page. Would be great if this could be addressed.

Suggestion for the developer of this extension:- you should just add a default option in there. why no likes and no reviews and no user installed this extension only 207. at the time of writing this review I just installed this extension and checked it and see its working better than the popular MERCURY READER and I just switched to this. let me mention the problem I was facing with mercury reader was its not working on long blog like realpython.com its only working on half page or 1/4 half of the page

Love it. I've gotten fed up with news sites and other featured articles etc. showing up on the side of the article and this fixes that! so helpful

It helps remove irritating ads and other waste pictures and videos.......It is very helpful in reading especially to students.
