never write reviews but I have to for this AMAZING!

Alright - I never leave reviews....ever (I should though). But I had to comment how freaking awesome this plug-in is. I got so sick of ads I upgraded no the no-ads package and turns out a HUGE amount of their library is NOT covered by this, so it is completely useless (google it). I downgraded back to the ad-version and about to just stop watching all together. I decided to search for a plug-in and found this and was reading the comments and some seemed a bit fake to me (sorry), but I tried it anyways and this is blowing me away. A 2:30 ad package takes about 20 seconds to "fast forward" thru and is AMAZING. I didnt think it would work on a tv series I was working on but IT DOES!. Author of this plug-in! THANK YOU! 5-stars WELL Deserved!

Does not work. Hulu detects it and will not play content until I disable extension

I do like this and it does work but it feels like it really only skips 0.5 more. It feels like i'm watching 2 ads rather than 3-4 but still better than nothing at all! Really loving this!

i was getting so annoyed from ads being played every 5 minutes on a show i was binging and was about to rage upgrade into hulu premium but stumbled upon this.. you are doing gods good work, thank you and this is impressive! not adblocker can do this, thanks :) it works as described i would use this. ignore the comments saying it doesnt

When i use this my screen glitches out after the ad skips worst app

Truly makes Hulu worth having. If this didn't exist, I wouldn't even use Hulu. Only thing is u have to turn it off if ur watching live but otherwise not bad

I pay for hulu, so I should NOT have to watch ads. I use this in combination with the brave browser ad blocker and it works like MAGIC. Do not use it with uBlock Origin though, that blocker will cause the Hulu error.

You can't skip intros without getting ads, but I'd rather watch that than more ads. U get a little black screen while they are skipped, but better than nothing. Great extension.

this extension generally works great - thanks so much for providing it!! however, on some channels, once a program continues, it still thinks an ad is playing. when this happens, it shows the yellow ad icon/banner in the upper-left, while showing the program i'm trying to watch in fast-forward / then still frame for a while / then fast-forward, again. is there something i can do to resolve this? i've tried removing the extension and reinstalling it. thanks!!!

Works well. I think during the ads, it should lower the resolution. Mine frequently buffers during the ads if I don't lower it myself, making it auto would be better.

No longer works. Removed extension, restarted chrome. Reinstalled extension, restarted Chrome - does not work. Multiple screen refreshes - still does not work.

Says what it does but sometimes after mutuing the adds it also mutes what i was watching on hulu and then i have to unmute and mute a couple of times to get it back

I love this, just the only problem I have is sometimes it doesn't work. Very rare though, Like just now, it's not working. I have all ad blockers disabled. Still amazing plugin.

Fast forwards through all the commercials. Excellent, as I'm not paying Hulu to watch invasive, annoying advertisements that lasts almost as long as the show I'm watching.

This is the second extension i've tried the first worked amazing but seems to not be in the store anymore I have it on another machine. So been trying this one & so far it seems to speed through them just as advertised on Brave, I think occasionally an ad will play but I dont have enough info to help or identify why etc.. although it does seem to happen if many shows have been watched. Then normally a quick restart of Brave seems to get it working properly again. I very much wish I knew how to create extensions. You all are flippin' amazing dont mine my Jealousness !

This extension is on of the best extensions ever. I want to give this person money, even if doing that defeats the purpose of Hulu premium. It actually does fast forward the Hulu ads and I am so glad I don't have to watch them again.

UPDATE: As of Oct 23, everything seems to be working now! Looks like the developer updated the app on 10/18/2022 according to the homepage. No more Error RUNUNK13. Thank you, Developer!!! Up until a few days ago, the extension worked great! But as other recent reviews have stated, having Hulu Ad Skipper enabled throws an error RUNUNK13. The error pops up as soon as Hulu Ad Skipper finishes fast forwarding through the ads. Developer: thanks for your hard work. This extension made Hulu watchable for me. I hope that you will be able to find a fix and update this fantastic extension.

deserves a 4 it dosent skip ads but it speeds them up awesome must recommend

Used to work. Doesn't anymore. At least on Chrome. Tried updating removing and re-adding the extension. Hulu just throws up an error.

As of today (10/06/2022), Hulu ad skipper no longer working. It causes a Hulu website error. It plays the ads in fast forward for 6 seconds, and then throws a Hulu error.

Unlike what other people are experiencing, this extension *technically* still works, but it doesn't actually skip the ads anymore, they will play for their full duration but with a black screen. While this is slightly better than not actually having to hear annoying 2 minute long ad breaks, the rigid silence is still not great.

It used to work perfectly for me, but as of today it stopped working. Please fix it!

It worked for the longest time, but stopped working today. It fast forwards through the ads, but now gets stuck at the last 6 seconds and stays there. Hulu won't play past that.

Didn't work at first and I shrugged it off and forgot to uninstall. I came back to Hulu a few weeks later and it was working like a charm. Fast forwards through all ads turning a 60 second ad break into 3-4 seconds. I am very happy with this and would recommend it to anyone who uses Hulu on their PC.

Doesn't work for me. When an ad pops up, it says (in summary) "turn of ad blocker." Then maybe it will play past it without an ad about 10 seconds later, but at that point, I might as well watch the ad! Then another time, the ad played! I felt so offended lowkey. I guess Hulu got smart because I used to breeze through ads like I pay for the ad free subscription.

I didn't expect it to work but I've used it the last few days and its awesome. For series the only ads I can are at the beginning, and those ads are about 30 seconds but with this its about 10x the speed or so. I would really recommend this.

I expected this to be fake. Totally works. Ads aren't instantly skipped, but maybe 10x the speed? Super happy about this.

Does absolutely nothing. Ads are not sped up, skippable, or silent. Useless.

I quit all my hulu shows due to all the ads and then found this, the only problem I have with it is that after an ad my video is out of sync so the mouth doesn't match with the audio, otherwise this would be a 5 star review without any hesitation

It's been working well for a while, but suddenly stopped working over the past few days. I hope it gets fixed, or I can be informed on how to fix it, because I enjoy using this extension.

Works perfectly for me so I don't know why everyone else has been having problems. It skips through the ads very quickly and this is going to be very useful for me.

Absolutely amazing. Adblockers do not work anymore because hulu knows they exist. But this extension makes these long ads like 5 seconds long. Super easy, barely an inconvienence.

I have stupid slow internet so for me it would usually freeze and take longer to restart then just watching the ad. Worked a few times though, maybe 3 out of 20 times.

It was so awesome. Always speed though the ads. I'm in the philosophy that if I pay for it, I shouldn't get ads. BUT, I haven't watch hulu in a good while and it seem that recently they patched this extension. So I have uninstalled it for now.

I actually quite love this ad-blocker for hulu, but I have slight problem. When I first got it, it worked great, skipped through the as like a dream. It took around 10 seconds to skip through the as. But than I reset all my google settings because of some computer problem I had. The ad-blocker still works, but now it just mutes the ads and blacks out the ads, so now you still have to wait 1 minute and 30 seconds to watch your tv show. So, I tried removing it from chrome, and adding it back, but it still just blacked the screen and muted the noise. I don't know why it isn't working the way it was before, but I hope the creators fix it.

Hulu patched this in in the last week. The upside is that you still won't see ads but instead you will have 2 min of black screen - then video resumes. That's not a bad trade-off

Works well with some on demand channels, not others. It still blocks the ads for those other channels but it pauses on a black screen for 30+ seconds.

Something isn't quite right witht this extention. It works great to skip ads, but it causes my laptop's cpu temperature to increase by 20 °C after a few ad breaks and shoots my fans up to their max RPM. I had never experienced this while streaming on Hulu before downloading the extention, and it's conncerning.

Honestly its pretty good I almost stopped watching Hulu because of the amount of ads I would get. the only thing I don't like though is instead of completely skipping the ad it fast-forwards the add which isn't that bad. Anyone have any tips to fix that?

I had given up on Hulu due to their high number of ads (even when you purchase their "no ads" version). Trying to watch a 25 minute show (which became almost 40 due to the ads) was no longer relaxing or enjoyable. Then along came this extension! Brilliant!
