good
I drive a fair amount, and decided to give the app a shot to keep my mind occupied on the road. I started with The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson (excellent if you like the fantasy genre, by the way), and am very pleased with how simple the Audio Books app is. I intend to keep using. The only downside I have noticed is that there were several times throughout the book where the audio skipped or cut out for a few seconds. Usually very small, but annoying if it happened in an important section, as rewinding and replaying did not resolve the error.
I love the fact that the information given from those who have already downloaded Audio Books and tried the APP give you a true look into what to expect good, bad or indifferent. I took all the User Reviews into consideration and decided to download it and try it for myself. Here is to good luck, as I truly look forward to using this APP for myself. To all of us who love books, take a chance and press the button.
app downloads on chrome, but only sends you to website; noone said that you can't use on windows phone or on chromebook!!
I just started listening to my book and I have to say that this service is really great. It is very easy to use and the narration is great. Overall, a very good service.
it sucks
I listened to Princeps Fury by Jim Butcher, and it was excellent. It downloaded quickly when I was on wifi, and then just played beautifully regardless of my connection. Plus, I love Jim Butcher.
awesome
Its a "chrome app" that is just an advertisement that goes to the webpage so I can download it to my phone.
Downloading the app was simple enough, I listened to James Patterson's Run for Your Life. All went very well. There were a couple of times that The book had to buffer, but I think that was due to my cell signal. All and All It was a great thing that I plan on using for a long time. Thanks Audio Books, Michael Bennett
Awesome!
great
