Exactly what I needed to prevent infinite scrolls go heavy on cpu/ram/whatever. I wish there were more straightforward extensions simple like an empty gallery just like this.

Used for education perfect. EP used to be able to be cheated with guess and check, and as such I was unable to actually learn anything. This helped remove the ticks, so it was not guess and check. Cheers

Does as promised. All it's missing is a placeholder and an option to whitelist some sites.

One, activating it was confusing, two, when you actually could activate it, it would block all images, not specific ones.

Works great. I would like it if I could add exceptions for certain sites I do want to see images on, but for now it works well enough with just the off/on feature.

Excellent! Makes it much easier to read the news these days without having to see any nausea-inducing images.

I used an android app on the tablet to block images and save data. Now I can use my pc tablet as well. Thank you! This is a fine extension for Google. An improvement would be to extend its powers to downloaded web pages. Currently, when I download (save) a web page all the images come along. I could save move data costs if these images were blocked from downloading.

Works perfectly. However, interestingly does not work on chomre.google.com but works on the rest of the internet. One click, global image blocking. Now I don't have to visit settings to block images but I can toggle it on and off. Thank you!

Easy and simple, also images aren't downloaded.

Exactly what I wanted. IMAGES ARE NOT DOWNLOADED SAVING DATA IN PAGE LOAD. If you want to check the question that if images are actually downloaded, F12 - network tab - check the page load data. It will be around few MB. And after enabling the extension, it will save the data downloaded. Fantastic work.

Excellent extension. Does what is advertised - prevent all images from loading.

All Or Nothing?! NO! I only wanted to block ONE image, not EVERY image on the website. I am uninstalling this.

This plugin hides image. The problem with this plugin that you can't understand what images were hiden. I would suggest to developer to include at gray or parttner images so user can see that images are hidden.

Very useful for what I need it to do. My only suggestion would be to allow a hotkey for toggling it on and off. If it had that it would be perfect.

This is what I needed. Saves a lot of data by blocking all the images. One suggestion fror developers - If they could include the functionality to track the amount of data saved, that would be awesome

Crap! No clear on or off. Only works sometimes.

Works perfectly. I can't believe someone had a major gripe because he could not block "individual" images with this. Sheesh!

Too simple. It only works with page reload, and it does not keep space that image was taking.

It works great, but I intended to use this for /b/ on 4chan. I'd like to post on there but the captcha is blocked. :( I'll rate it 5 stars if it didn't block captcha's.

It works. It will be greater if it unblocks by default and block by click as only a few web sites have disturbing gifs.

Disliked it, it was not the block image I expected. The words 'Block Image' it specify that you can select only image you want to block. But it's not! the proper name of this extension is 'Block All Images'.

By the looks of it, it doesn't loads the images instead of just not displaying them. Just what I need - a quick toggle to turn images on and off.

Worked well on some pages. But, when i tried to access facebook it also block the chat.

Really Simple Interface. When button toggled to on, will stop images on pages from showing up.

How the hell does it work? Does it all all work? There is nothing "options" so how do we control which and where images it should block and which and where it should not? I have installed it and all the images are still loading and appearing. The author has just one line header in his website or in this google store. Doesn't even say how to make it work. An absolute piece of junk it is. Don't waste your time on this.

This is a great extension because it stops the image from downloading altogether. A lot of the other blockers still download the images but don't display them
