Restore add to wishlist (non-Amazon) back to wishlists directly. I don't want to deal with this garbage.

Unable to add items from other sites to my list, it keeps giving me the error "Sorry about this, I'm having trouble loading". Amazon universal wishlist is impossible to use now. They need to fix this.

I sign in and it tells me that I'm not signed in... BROKEN.

won't let me sign in - it says sign in, but it no longer works. It opens a new tab. I sign in. Nothing changes.

The one thing I wanted to do with it was to be able to add items from other sites to my wish list, but every time I've tried to do that in the past month, it keeps giving me the error "Sorry about this, I'm having trouble loading." That would be fine if they fixed it in a reasonable amount of time, but it's been a month, over the holidays, and still nothing.

Generally good and unobtrusive. Need to be able to configure it to direct me to smile.amazon.co.uk rather than the standard amazon site as I've put orders through that would have benefitted my chosen charities without realising that they weren't smile orders.

Worked like a gem until about 5 days ago, and just when I need it the most, right before Christmas.

Works only half the time

Used to be great. I like to save items from other websites in wishlist here, one list for all those things to easier keep track of them. For quite a while now it's been stuck in a sign-in loop, never recognizing that I already have signed in 37 times already. Not really useful anymore since that broke.

This used to be a really helpful extension, allowing me to add items from any website to my Amazon wishlists, but now whenever I try to add something it just keeps asking me to sign in, but when I sign in it doesn't seem to do anything, it just keeps asking me to sign in! Very frustrating.

kind of useful but it pops up every time I search anything which id super annoying. if i turn it off temporarily so it doesn't do that I have to re-download it for it to work again. when you add items to a list from other sites it wont show the price you put in for it. overall its not worth it.

It only works about half the time I constantly have to uninstall and reinstall it to get it working again! Guess it makes since... God forbid I make a purchase not from Amazon.

Got this to add items from other websites to one central Amazon wishlist but it isn't compatible with a lot of websites such as Home Depot seemingly by design. Ultimately this is a marketing tool for Amazon and they don't really seem to prioritize people shopping outside of Amazon.

This spyware installs itself on HP Laptops. It's very hard to remove since it adds itself in every new Chrome profile you create. If you want to remove it (after uninstalling other methods of this malware) then regedit: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Google\Chrome\Extensions

9/28 Update: I recently checked and my items previously and added while this issue was occuring are now showing up. Thank you! Updating to 1 star for not being able to use it for the functionality that it had -- all of my history from adding items onto my list has now disappeared and I have to re-find and save them on a personal list Did something change with the newest Chrome update? Since I updated yesterday I am able to use the extension as intended to add things to my list. However, when I go to that list, the items (and all the items previously added to the list from this extension) do not show up. The number of items in the registry did go up from 118 to 119 when I removed and reinstalled the extension but still doesn't show

99% of the time, I only want this to manage one central wishlist. The popups are obnoxious and annoying, so traditionally I turn them off. However, about a year ago, they broke the app so that if you turn off the popups, you cannot add anything to Amazon wishlists from other sites, and Amazon isn't smart enough to give you any other way to add other things (since they aren't interested in giving you functionality, just obtrusively monitoring all your other shopping and annoying trying to control it). One of the many reasons I avoid shopping with amazon anymore and canceled our Prime membership!

The only thing missing is getting the settings to sync between devices, but other than that...excellent!

I used this extension at the beginning because it allowed you to add items from other websites onto your wish list. This was incredibly helpful for me, but for some reason over the past year or two it never stays signed in. I'll go to add an item to a list and it will tell me to sign in, once I do I go back to click to add and it keeps showing the same message. ? "Sign in" says the button, so I do and it just loads the amazon home page because I'm already signed in. I don't know what happened to this feature, and it was the only reason I had it installed.

Rubbish. Just adware - slowed my browser down massively and switched the browser to yahoo when it felt like it.

Good tool for comparison! Generally I have to navigate to places and jump from one site to another to get the best prices for an item, however assistant has made the work much more easier.

Just getting to use the Amazon Assistant. I like the way it ties together my shopping across multiple web sites and lets me compare if it is selling on Amazon. I usually check there for comparison every time and now have the ability to check on the fly

I've been using this to put things from other sites onto my Amazon wishlists ever since they killed support for the browser button several years ago. Now it won't even do that, keeps claiming it has an error every time I try to use that feature. That's literally my only reason for using the extension, everything else that this claims to help with can be done in like two clicks on the website. It's a pretty useless extension now.

The only useful thing was 30 days price tracker which they have removed, now it is just a bunch of bookmarks.

Very useful for all Amazon employee's.

This *was* a 5 star extension, until they removed the 30-Day Price Tracker... It is still marginally useful as a quick way to add products from other websites, but apart from that, it's mostly a distraction that is just slowing down my browser.

I've been a longtime user of the extension. Removing it today as it no longer supports redirects to smile.amazon to support the non-profit of my choice. Extremely disappointing and selfish choice by Amazon.

I've had this extension installed for 2+ years and used it all the time but since it no longer redirects to the Amazon Smile page I will just use a bookmark instead. Uninstalling.

Some sites, like Home Depot, no longer work when trying to add items to your list. You get the following message, "Sorry, Amazon Assistant isn’t compatible with this website."

Loved this Assistant and it helped me to compare the prices and features.

Can't add to Wishlist from Assistant. I end up in loop from hell that keeps asking me to sign in, even though I am already signed in. Assistant extension is useless for wishlist, which is the only use I have found for it.

It pops up over and over again when you try to shop on other websites. 'We sell that too! Look at these products!' It's nice that it gives delivery updates, but not worth the annoyance of frequent popups.

extension does not function if it does not have total access to every webpage fishing for information. When I try to restrict it access to page contents to just amazon.com it doesn't load and says there is an error. This extension does NOT need access to every page information to display my orders and tracking notifications. It is not transparent with this information that it requires access to all pages to function. See here: https://imgur.com/a/7ii67rU It says specifically in the privacy section "This publisher declares that your data is: Not being sold to third parties, outside of the approved use cases Not being used or transferred for purposes that are unrelated to the item's core functionality" However that would not seem the case if the core functionality is to assist with your existing orders. This app is adware at best and malware at worst. It will imprint on every site you visit ads for purchasing things.

Randomly added to extensions after a visit to amazon.com, prompting me to install the actual extension. I turned it down (because of Amazon's poor track record with privacy violations) and the extension proceeded to remove itself. This feels like blatant spyware too. The fact it can "Read your browsing history" is a serious red flag. Just like Honey, it's definitely a front for advertisers (in this case, Amazon) to build a seriously larger profile on you. I would give this 0 stars if possible. Just remember that "If something is free, you are the product".

I use it to add items from other websites to my Amazon wish lists, something that should be available from the website but oh well. It refuses to work unless I give it full access to all my webpages. Not sure that is worth it.

I find it helpful in keeping track of orders and a quick and easy way to search for items. I have mixed feeling about it popping up when I search another site for an item. Sometimes I think it is helpful and something I think it is a bit too intrusive but, overall i like it

It works. Provides quick at-a-glance amazon updates. Nine times out of ten you do end up just clicking on things and getting transported to Amazon, but I guess that's the point. Especially during the pandemic, if you get a dopamine hit every time a package arrives, having a little dashboard addition like this will feed that craving.

What is great about the Amazon Assistant is that it offers all the benefits of targeted advertising without the intrusion into the browsing experience. It is a very convenient way to track not only the status of my orders, but also offers suggestions for products that are relevant to me. Having them presented in the context of Amazon Assistant I can have confidence that they are legitimate products.

I love this extension! I've had it on Chrome for a while. It's an easy way to see deals, get notified about deliveries, etc. I

It does what I need it to do. It pops up a little message when packages are sent or received and it shows me the price history. It isn't anything fancy, it wasn't meant to be. But it does what it's supposed to. Yes, it tracks what I'm looking at and offers me the Amazon price; that's what its supposed to do!

I like how it shows me my order / delivery status and offers me related items I may not have thought about.

Handy when shopping on Walmart.com to quickly compare prices to Amazon. Not so handy while shopping on Amazon.

The search feature is very impressive!!! Highly Recommended !! Firstly it compares the prices of items while shopping on non-amazon sites, alerting you if they have these items for a lower cost (looking for their low price badge you can save $ with their 30 day price tracker i,e,. price drops etc.) Secondly while you comparison shop you can see the price, rating, and review of the product via Amazon. Thirdly the wish list is convenient and universal to add items from any site you are visiting, storing everything in one convenient location (keeping compulsive buyers from overspending and rather hold off on buying the item until it inevitably drops in price in a few weeks.)

I have no idea how it got installed. Must have clicked something by accident. Totally unnecessary extension for me as a power browser.

The main problem with this extension is the amount of memory it hogs. It is constantly running in the background using a massive amount of CPU. Often it has caused my browser (Chrome) to slow down or freeze. I simply had to shut it off until I needed it. I like notifications about my shipments, but I can look them up on the website. The one thing it seems you can only do through the Assistant is save gift ideas from non-Amazon websites. That is a really useful thing, so I turn it on to do that, and then switch it back off. Sometimes, after leaving it off a long time I actually have to delete the extension, and then add it back in; otherwise, it keeps asking me to sign in again and again.

it is spam or abuse, and amazon platform is unfair because it delete my review with personal user experience, even though it is shorter, I doubt that Amazon is bias too only super long reviews.

The extension is accurate and I've been using it for a while. suggestions and findings are always lead me to the correct listings and saves me from switching between tabs.

It comes up in the wrong Language. What a stupid app.

I mainly use the extension to add items I find online to Wish Lists I created for family and friends. But since the update, I can only add items to my Wish Lists, not Your Friends list. Is there something I'm missing? Is this a bug? Serves no purpose for me now. Hopefully this gets changed back.
