Such a great extension, it helped me a lot. But I have a little problem and it's that in auto proxy you can't define if the server response was 403 or if their client wasn't able to connect to the destination host automatically switch to proxy, it would be great if you added this feature, because for countries with internet censorship this feature can be handy. anyway great job, great extension.

I love this extension, it helps me browse the internet without any interruptions, but can you make it a application for windows, or any OS you like?, it would really help and expand it to dozens of applications including spotify, netflix app, and others for your security.

This never works for me. I don't think I've managed to get this working once. It's so annoying.

Hello Users, i have to face 1 problem when i click to [Direct] then extensions ignore all security setting like pfsense squid firewall. so any body can help or guide me how do i change rule of [Direct]. and other functions is pretty good.

You could at least add the Kill Switch that prevents the internet on browser when the ip/vpn not working

the best proxy extension that let you use proxies for only specific sites you want, it requires that you have a proxy first, you can find free proxies on the web, it works even on Kiwi browser while other proxy extensions dont work. Finding free proxies that always work takes a lot of time for me, but those combined with this extension is a big payoff

Just wanted to write this review. The extension is so helpful when you don't want to use proxy for every website. This plugin allows you to use proxy for a certain (picked) site only. It works amazing and pretty straight forward even for a noob.

bug report: 当代理列表过多时,无法使用倒数第二个按钮(规则按钮) 将当前页面指定规则. Cant not specify current page to target proxy server(nothing happen when click the button second to last) , when proxy server list (profiles) have many (I have 30 profiles).

it's very goog but a can not bypass spasific local url (webservers) in my domain network . is it works only by ip address ?

Made my life 100 percent easier. have had it for years now!

I have two profiles working properly, however, the third profile will not work, the proxy for the third host works properly when tested via vpn, but somehow, that third profile proxy will not work with this extension.

Quick, per-domain proxy settings with just a couple clicks is awesome for frequent proxy users.

Such a great extension. It makes a tall order, but delivers EVERYTHING it promises, and it's free! I use a SSH SOCKS5-proxy to my university campus, and for every newspaper I get free access to through my university, Proxy SwitchyOmega seamlessly routes the requests through the appropriate interface.

Will not work on Nord SOCKS5 proxies. Triple checked settings (server name, socks5, port 1080), just gives ERR_SOCKS_CONNECTION_FAILED message. Using the exact same server and settings in Firefox works fine.

I didn't have any kind of lucky with this extension. One of these is happening.... 1- Or I do not understand the configuration, (but how difficult is to set the HTTPS and HTTP proxy IP address and port? So, I don't believe I did'n something wrong). 2- Or every IP address from all proxy lists I search are bogus, even if they say (It is OK, was checked 1 minute ago!).. 3- The extension do not work at all. Most probably....

The interface is simple and intuitive. Settings import/export & syncing (Experimental), keyboard shortcuts, etc... It should tells you if there's a conflict with an other extension. Hosts can be set using wildcards or regex, so it doesn't matter if you're a basic or advanced user, both will be happy to use this extension! And also... It works very well, I love it!

The idea of a "switch profile" is very intuitive, however at the current stage it is extremely buggy, which renders it totally useless. 1. Sometimes when using the switch profile, the page gets stuck on "connecting...", and as soon as I disable the switch profile and either use a proxy or connect directly, everything seems to be okay. 2. When the switch profile is active, some of the links on the page (i.e. some images or videos) won't load, even though they are on the same domain as the site (hence the filter of the switch profile should have applied to them as well). 3. The filters are very limited (Though the reason behind it is stated within the extension's explanations). Maybe some workarounds could be found. For instance maybe the extension could retrace the IP address of the host, in which case filters could be applied based on the location of the host. Currently I can only use the extension as merely a proxy toggle (Well... the best proxy toggle out there in chrome store). Extra special thanks to developers, while eagerly looking out for new versions with fixes for aforementioned issues.

Have been using it for ages (prior it was renamed to Omega). Works like a charm, stable, great UI, profiles auto-switch and ton of condigs. Great stuff!

I like it a lot, and i wanted to thank you, because a lot of sites are censored in my country included social media, and my problem was that i couldn't use vpn all the time cause some of sites didn't work with vpn and proxies and gave me errors. Now just i have a little problem with this extension and it's some times after clicking the extension, it doesn't show "auto switch" item in the menu, and i have to click many times to show all items, actually just a bug i think and not a big deal.. but this one is very important to me => I have a request! When for example i add a domain like *.youtube.com in "auto switch" to goes through a proxy.. i want to all other domains that load with this page like *.ytimg.com *.googlevideo.com and *.google.com ... all of them go through this proxy! I know that i can add those domains as well but the point is for example i don't want to *.google.com always goes through proxy, just in case that i visit youtube site! Is this possible? tnx a lot in advance ;)

Hello All, I loved this Proxy Switch Extension & it has made life so easy wwith Google Chrome which being best browser still unable to provide its own inbuilt Proxy Settings like Firefox, while i am very pleased with it i have one concern.... i.e. Google Chrome is telling that this Proxy SwitchOmega can eavesdrop into traffic. Can someone please advise on Security & Safety while browsing thru Proxy Switch ? is there any risk of looking credentials or getting hacked as Proxy SwitchOmega can control, monitor & intercept the all internet traffic?
