on surface it does a fair job after paid membership but the value added features they mention like daily ideas ,suggested keywords etc are almost scrape , rather they work in a stupid suggestions if applied would make the channel go down drastically

I thought I could generate tags for free and all I see are pay to use options. Useless if you dont pay.

I'm using it for years now & I'm pretty satisfied with the options you get even for free.

It's a great extension. I think the costs to subscribe are a little high for the value the pro package offers. but its still a great extension and I'll continue to use pro.. I'm a new content creator so the bigger packages, what I need, are just out of my budget.

Extension is good, but still, like TubeBuddy, the emoji picker NEEDS to be removed. At least it uses the system's default emojis, but the selection is the exact same as Unicode 6.1 from 2012. YOU HEARD ME RIGHT. 2012. Also, it makes the UI even worse.

would like it much more if you would go to the effort of making an extension to work with GX Opera

I tried pro version its all same thing which you can get it on google and misleading in terms of apps ranking and chrome extension ranking. No effort to boost channel for 1 or 2 video in organic traffic source and comment you can see to boost but doesn't works after it.

I think you stink as usual . I tried the free trial then bought one month and now you say mu trial is up and won't give me credit for the month I just paid for and there's no where to ask for help that I've been able to find .

VidIQ Changed my Life...

Been nothing but helpful since I got it. The title suggestions and descriptions are nice, but my favorite is how easy it makes filling out video tags. Just nice QoL feature

After having VIDIQ for a few months, it's just an ok app. The idea generator is a one size fits all kind of thing, and the AI doesn't try to understand your channel's niche. Not to mention the bugs. I keep getting low scores because the app says my videos aren't public when they are or that I don't have end screens when I do. Also, I get a low score because I have yet to respond to a recent comment... but there is no comment to respond to. The title generator is cool and helpful, but that's about it... Unfortunately, I will be ending my time with VIDIQ. I wanted to love this, but at this point, I'm just wasting money.

I'm going to honestly write what I experienced so people like myself get a perspective. I'll not only mention what I liked, but also highlight what could have been better.So that I finish my review on a positive note - I'm pointing the most annoying part about this tool first. It freezes as soon as you click on "organise tags" and at time it won't let me enter tags, which is random. AI recommendation can't be trusted - at least for the description. I'm not sure if it happens with others, but it gave me completely strange description at times, which raise BIG question about the AI capabilities of this tool. I'm new to VIDIQ Boost and probably, I'll have more as I progress. The best part is the keyword suggestions - both rising keywords and relevant one's. Though not sure why some videos with 100% SEO completion, using high volume low competition keywords, are not driving views.

So, I am getting to understand how to use this app. vidIQ recommends tags to each of my video, right? Then, I should select the ones that have a high % number so that my video will show up in the keyword search more often. Sometimes, IQ's recommended tags don't have connections with the content of my video. But, I should select them if the tags have high number. Right?

not gonna lie, i was skeptical about using it at first because i thought its useless, BUT the second i used it i got the Pro package and then canceled it and upgrade it to the Boost package because of how PERFECT their services are, so many options and statistics plus so many features and as a new YouTuber, they made my life so much easier with the AI generated description and title regeneration and such, i recommend it 100%.

All the tools are very useful, the only downside is the cost. The free version is a joke, but the pro version is pretty good. Haven't gotten boost (because it's $50 a month) but other than the cost I LOVE vidiq and it helped me get a lot of subscribers and all that stuff.

Such a waste of money and shady business model, i got the free 30 day "pro" trial and it was kinda neat but not a whole lot of value the more i dealt with it. of course anything of real value is behind a paywall. all i wanted was the "Bulk SEO" tool that they had. of course you had to pay 50$ for the month just to try it. come to find it had no tag recommendations for my over 250+ videos. what a scam. when i immediately asked for a refund. they said they "cant" refund.. yeah right they just dont want to. avoid this bs and use tubebuddy

Was ok but started getting extremely laggy youtube videos because of it to the point where they wouldn't play and had to remove it entirely. Had to go through all my extensions to figure out it was this one

Charging $50 per month is pretty disgusting. The fact that your tools are mostly for people that are just starting out new channels, you really are gouging them for every penny. it looks like you're feeding on the desperate and I think that's disgusting.

I find it very useful, especially if you make many videos like me, and need to speed things up, like description, tags ecc...only thing the AI title generator could be a bit better.

Wanted to really like it. But Pro is pretty overpriced just giving you a handful of things that are useful served with things you could already get in youtube studio. A more fair price wouldve been $5 with how much it limits you. Really the only tier that seems best in Boost. Even thats a little pricey but you at least unlock what feels like the ViqIQ. Right now For pro it feels like only %10 of the app is unlocked for a price of $7 plus dollars. Honestly tubebuddy is more fair. Might not be nearly as in depth but at least the price is fair and you still get some good use for only like 3 bucks a month

Incredibly useful tool, I initially used a trial period then kept my subscription because I actually saw results. It might be a little overpriced though, and the information it gives you is only going to help if you know how to utilize it. Thankfully they explain things in fairly simple terms, so you can quickly learn how to maximize vidiq's service. If you can afford it, it's worth it.

Long-time user here, I think it stinks that they made some certain features placed behind a paywall that was once free. Most of the features that vidIQ offers for free can just be accessed from the already free YouTube statistics. The only reason why I have vidIQ is because it offers me to see the stats at a quick glance. A real annoyance I have with it is when I go to try and refresh the stats on the nav bar it closes the little popout so I have to hover over the area to open it again several times before I can refresh my stats.

Do not sign up for a free trial. You think you've cancelled, like I had but I still got charged on day 30 of the trial and they're refusing to refund the money and trying to bribe me with 3 months free. I am not a happy customer. The UI is basic, it doesn't offer value for money, and I would stay clear due to terrible customer service. Check out trust pilot if you want to know what this product is really like. It's a shame, because the product has got some legs, but for the price and customer experience it's not worth it and the business practices make the publishers untrustworthy.

Have only 4 subscribers using vidIQ

I joined VidiQ when I first created my channel. used it for a while didn't really see the value at the time so I dropped them for about a year. In that time I started watching more and more vidiq videos on youtube, now their my go to for pretty much anything I need to know about youtube. Now I've got my feet wet and have rejoined at boost level but this time I'm working it. It's been one day of tweaking my vids and I'm already getting clicks I know I wouldn't normally get. I'm really excited. Because of the notable difference I've given 5 stars. There are just a few glitches in the program though. Since creating my channel I;ve changed my logo etc. The program still has the old logo maybe I'm supposed to do the updating...I'll look into that. So far I'm loving it and I just got started...

Just installed, and the base features I've tried don't work, like mass edit, tags suggestions (recipe tags on a car channel?) and it's just overall cluttering the space. I find no way to remove all those useless self promo boxes invading youtube. I'll give it a week or two, but I doubt it will stay.

At least I can see people's view per hour, decent keywords and many things that make every youtuber popular. But however, the downside of having this extension on is the fact that every video I watch, and then looking at google search bar, the autofill part will always have those [video id] -site:youtube.com thingies, which I don't know how to disable them, or is just I got hacked or something. Hope that I can resolve that, and still enjoys growing youtube channels.

The free version is fairly effective in a sense, but ultimately you have to do your own keyword research anyway. Even if you change all your videos to be green SEO score, you still don't really get a boost in subscribers. Which is odd to me, but only goes to show how ineffective tags are nowadays. There needs to be more marketing tools rather than keyword research. Keywords can only get you so far in Youtube, Tik Tok, etc. It might help with exposure but marketing actually gets the clicks. I'm giving it 2 stars because I was falsely charged for a month and not reimbursed.

Only been using it for a week but already gained 60 subs. I really like the when to post feature and Title recommendations. It is a shame that Pro users only allowed 10 title, but will have to work with what we got

VidIQ really is an awesome tool that really helped me to save lots of hours to analyze, review and optimize my channel and YouTube videos. Though the free version is not that useful. I started the Boost-Plan trial that gives so much more insights than the free plan. Unfortunately it's quite unaffordable to keep for such a small channel like mine with no monetarization. I wished I could keep it for free until I gain 1000 subscribers or so.

I was subscribed to both IQ and Tubebuddy. I cancelled Tubebuddy due to its lack of usefull tools for the money. What i Like abouth IQ is that you are able to see your current Analytics totals at the top of the sreen. Only suggestion for Five stars is if the "total hours watched" was only based on organic numbers and not included with my Google Ads "total hours watched" which are not accepted by Youtube for the partnership program. If im wrong than I truly apologize and will amend my review. thanks

VidIq certainly has more features than TubeBuddy which I was using, but I have no more clue as to how to use ViDiQ as I did of Tube Buddy. And I used Tube Buddy for over 6 months. Once I get the idea of how to use VidIq and start to get my channel moving along faster than it is, it should start to show results. Although that may be a long way off yet I fear

What a fantastic tool to really get an idea how to strategize your content! I hate posting anything without the Vid IQ tools which have been so helpful in growing my channel. Also love the guidance and suggestions they have weekly on live streams.

vidiq plan help me make it easy to recognize how many views per video and which one hit which one miss so that I can answer the viewers with videos those they like. Also give an overview of other channel. Within 2 months since start seriously making video I am at 292 subscribers still a long way to go with the hours watch time but will meet that goal within 3 months at this rate to be qualify for youtube partner. Thanks for the good extension.

The only reason I use/d this extension was for quicker access to thumbnails as it was one click away to view a larger version of the thumbnail. These last few days however, this extension has caused lag with YouTube, where when you first play a video the player is frozen for roughly 5 seconds. Meaning you can't pause it, or lower the volume. I have spent a few days trying to figure out what the cause of this was and I came to check the reviews of this extension only to find that this is the culprit. I've disabled this extension until a fix is issued. In the meantime, I will be looking for other extensions that make grabbing thumbnails easier.

The new update made YouTube 5x slower

June 1st update makes youtube not responsive when clicking a video.

This extension is great and all and shows me me channel data, but it is very inconvenient for when I am normally browsing Youtube. It gets in my way as if all I care about is my YouTube Channel.

Installed for a UserTesting trial, it made Youtube insanely laggy. Videos were 240p and everything I clicked had a 5 second delay or didnt register at all.

I like this extension, but it ruins Google search. I get queries like «rjxx-ni5zf6 -site:youtube» in my search every time I open a video.

Overall, its good, it shows proper analytics and shows peoples subscriber count without clicking their channel, however, I do not like that it searches stuff without my permission, I believe it is doing this to see the video ranking of certain videos as part of their service, but I do not like random searche son my recents and history like "dating" which I never searched for and things like "[random characters] site:youtube:com.

It is a perfect tool for YouTube channel, video and automatically suggest for new changes as per upcoming updates for the same.

I think it's great for bigger channels, but it's way too expensive for someone with less than 500 subscribers who is still suffering but working hard every day. I don't think it's worth the money right now, and it compels you to number watch, which isn't the best way to go.

Have been using VIDIQ for about 6-7 months and love it! Only thing I wish they had was an A & B test for Thumbnail's, similar to Tubebuddy. But outside of that, it's been a real time saver and useful tool!

I think this plug-in is inaccurate and not helpful at all. Yesterday, I had double digit increases to views in last 7 days, and in minutes watched in last 7 days. Today, I have double digit DECREASES in views and minutes watched in last 7 days. This makes no sense. I'm removing it permanently.

I like all of the stats that can be given, however there seems to be some oversight recently. I am also a perfectionist and can see where things need improvement, but i can never actually explain it. Fix the couple of small bugs that have popped up recently and my review will be 4 star.

This is a good app, but the like/dislike bar count shows 0 likes and 0 dislikes when it's supposed to show the true dislike count. My ability to view the dislike count on videos have been taken away by that greedy corporate-worshiping corporation known as YT, and I wanted to see the dislike count, but I was disappointed when it said that the video had no likes nor dislikes, even when the video has a lot of likes. Can you please fix this, or give me any solutions to this problem?
