It works temporarily. Eventually it appears to forget that you set a refresh and stops working. Once you set a new time it starts to work again... Temporarily... Before it again forgets that you set a timer. This happens after a few cycles. I set to 15 mins and checked in every couple hours.

The old version was better. This one takes several clicks to get it to take effect and stops refreshing after a while.

It's quite useful, however a really useful enhancement would be for it to only work on thetab in which it was activated, that is if a new tab is opened fron the current refreshed tab, there is NO autoupdate applied.

Last update broke it. No longer remembers the refresh timer setting after it refreshes once. Now it's absolutely pointless. Update: It works for a while, but still stops working after a short time and you have to manually restart it. You get an hour of automatic refreshing at best.

The best choice in comparison with alternatives. It works like a charm without requiring any special permission!

It just stops refreshing after awhile even if you DON'T do something that is known to make it stop. That part is pretty annoying. As long as you keep an eye on it (which defeats the purpose) you're ok. Fortunately, I have another similar extension that works better and also sounds a programmable alert for specific changes. What it doesn't do is actually refresh the visual page but running it alongside Tab Auto Refresh fixes that. Until TAR decides to quit. Also fortunately, the other extension doesn't rely on the visual to give an alert so even if TAR dies, I still get a sound alert and can refresh manually to see what the hubbub is about.

the only auto refresh to not request "all data on all websites", which is great. But it keeps stopping after a few minutes and I have to start it again. :(

This script was recently updated and now it doesn't seem as reliable as previously. On many pages, clicking a link or refreshing the page cancels the tab refresh.

This Extensions is so poor

Before this extension was working very well but when they updated it is not working it stopped automaticlly please resolve everything

When it works, it is fine, but recently, the tab stops reloading intermittently for no reason.

It was an amazing extension, but last update ruined it. New UI is not as friendly as old one. and it stop randomly . In the old one you can manually refresh the tab, but in the new version the timer will cancel if you manually refresh the tab. Please roll back.

It seems to stop refreshing, seems to be when i move off the tab for a while..... I trade stocks so i sometimes move away from the tab for a while.... Otherwise, its great, used the older version, which didnt have this issue.....

The last update is a disaster. Now it can't continuously refresh the same pages after a several minutes. and the new UI is useless. I loved this extension but now I have to uninstall it and looking for a new one.

I liked the original extension, but the new UI is super ugly and the Dutch translation is really bad! Very unprofessional.

Good tool at first sight. It's just a pity that it doesn't refresh the chosen page anymore as soon as you move away from it (e.g. when you switch to another page or when you minimise your browser). If page refresh would've kept going then, I would have given a 5 star rating...

WAS working fine until the last update, the UI is ugly and it stops reloading after some time, old version was working perfect. why did you DOWNGRADE a working app. so sad!!! thanks for the previous service and uninstalling now.

Now it takes 2 clicks to set timer and worser UI why? Its better if it has a permament timer set for a site. Uninstalled.

Within the last couple of weeks, since the display went from a GUI with boxes for the secs/min/hr choice to a list, it doesn't work. It won't keep refreshing. I've removed the extension and then installed it again, but it still keeps failing.

The one problem is that if after having set it you do a manual refresh it then forgets the settings

Loved this prior to the recent update (March 2022). Old version used to auto refresh without quit. Now, I notice that it every once and a while (e.g. connecting to VPN, bad connection, some error on the page, etc.) the plugin would stop refreshing. Please fix this. I use this to keep my work request tab up to date, so I don't miss something.

Stopped working recently, just says "Connecting to tab..." forever. I reinstalled 3.0.1, the issue persists. Switched to "Tab auto reloader", which also doesn't require permissions.

This extension was great until about a week ago when they changed the UI from something sleek and modern, to something that looks like it was designed in 1999. It also randomly "forgets" that i set it. Ive had to reset the timer i use at least 3 times already today. This extension was rendered useless by the most recent "update", so whoever you have committing changes is not heading in the right direction. I dont usually write reviews one way or the other, but seriously. I use this every single day to refresh a ticket database and this most recent change made this extension obsolete.

I liked it better before they changed the interface...the yellow interface with the buttons was MUCH better.... Still a great extension

Was amazing, until the updated it.... now once it refreshes it forgets to auto refresh... so annoying. It was perfect before, not sure why they changed it

Re the repeating "the bug was fixed in 3.0.1": it wasn't. And the new UI is ugly; and once you reload the page yourself, the auto-reload does not work.

Rule of thumb: Never change a winning team! How and why you suddenly decided to destroy a fine working extension?! The new UI is ugly! before, it was showing the remaining minutes, now it shows seconds and for over 1000 reaming seconds it would just show 1k, 2k which is useless. undo the changes before more low ratings and uninstalling

It used to work. Now it doesn't work at all. Uninstalling.

Last update is on march 10th 2022 from that time if i enable the tab auto refresh for every half an hour tab refresh is stopping automatically. before upgrade it was working fine but now it is not good could you please move back to the older version only

Doesn't work as of the last update.

The previous version was better. It would run even if I switched tabs now it stops and I have to restart it when I go back to the previous page. It was better with the stop Timer bar instead and it was easier to set the time than it is now.

Well it used to work just fine, would have been 5 stars, but a couple of days ago, it stopped working. Was there an update? I dunno. "There was an error connecting to the Tab. Please reload the tab and open this popup again." Yeah, I've tried that, even rebooted, but still it refuses to run. Time to find an alternative I guess.

Latest update broke the extension, either does not work or errors when attempting to set a time.

I prefer the previous version, not sure why it was changed. There also seems to be a bug preventing the tab from continuing to refresh if you do any navigation on that tab now in the 3.0.0 version. I'm going to be looking at alternatives until the bug is resolved.

The most recent changes have caused the timer to constantly stop working. Becomes useless. will have to find a different extension.

I've been using this for a year without any issues but after the new update, the system will not reload the page automatically. It's unreliable now.

It's functionality is fine for my needs, but I preferred the compact and more colorful GUI. It could have been modernized without making it so huge and bland.

Don't care for the new GUI (as of 3/10) the old GUI was much quicker to use. Other than that, it works well.

It has potential to improve. I have used a extension in Firefox which autostarts on saved sites. This is very useful for me.

Nice and simple tool. It would be better to restart the counter when refreshing the page manually or visiting a different page in the same tab.

The thing is, it doesn't remember settins like auto reresh plus. when i always use 60 secs why it resets. it should have remember optrion settings.

Does exactly what it says it will, nothing more, nothing less. Very minimalist, just shows a countdown in the extension box; doesn't advertise, doesn't try to do things it doesn't need to do, like consume unnecessary amounts of RAM, etc. just to create large pop-out countdowns, etc... first off, try using Windows Magnifier (or whatever the OS X equivalent would be). Bada-bing! Fixed...
