I've been using T.Ly for about a month. Yesterday the right-click on a webpage option stopped working. I asked support for help and within minutes, got a response from Tim, the founder of T.Ly. Turns out, the problem was on my end. Thanks, Tim!

I've been using this extension for a few months, and I prefer it to the others. The t.ly links are very short (shorter than bit.ly, which the extension also supports). It saves to the clipboard automatically. There are occasional glitches, but they get fixed quickly.

I use this extension within Brave and ran into an issue with it auto-copying links. Tim looked at promptly after I reported the issue and he communicated the issue. Just today once it was updated, he reached out to me to let me know that it was fixed. It was indeed fixed on the first test. it was amazing to have Tim follow up on the issue within a few weeks with the resolution. I am rational and understand that some issues cannot be resolved overnight and I appreciate that Tim followed up... it's a great extension/service and it's backed by an equally awesome developer.

I like the right click option to create and save in clipboard. But I hate that every time it pops an alert. Very unnecessary Can you remove that or make it optional?

It started good and then went crazy when I customized it. Throwing error messages that's all.

Would be useful if it didn't automatically copy the shortened URL before I could paste the alternate destination in.

Useless - Does nothing , one has to open a new link everytime one needs a shortcut rather than creating shortcuts every time we feed a link - for which it does nothing except ask lame geeky questions

Great and clean. though it could be cleaner if you give users the option to remove twitter and facebook 'share' buttons via the extension options. these 'services' are aids to many and should no longer be proliferated

it's pretty good honestly. it's quite useful, but the thing is once i have made a certain amount of shortened links, it'll say something like failed to shorten and then automatically take me to some website. there, you can have a free 4 day trial and you can make more short links. then after 4 days when my trial ended, the links no longer worked unless i wanted to pay for a subscription. never gonna do that obviously. so once i make a certain amount of links, i need to wait till like the next day to make more which is super annoying.

oh my god not again, im not sure what i did but i copied the link it shortened and it literally took me to a porn website, i swear theres so many of these and now my history is mudded up, gee thanks devs, hope you go die

This is honestly one of the biggest lifesavers for me. We share links all the time for work and it's makes it so easy and less daunting to deal with a link now given we have to send links to over 2,000 people sometimes. Thank you so much for this service!

This one is really good but the lack of special characters support is a showstopper for me. It doesn't save foreign language characters.

Terrible, doesn't work! Keeps saying, "failed to shorten", and then demands that I acquire an "T.LY API key" because I've hit an extension limit. I'm not using T.LY and it doesn't matter which other URL shortening service I use, it keeps saying that, and it keeps saying that regardless of which other URL shortener I save as default. Then it keeps popping tabs open in my browser to the T.LY website demanding that I register with them. I'm not even using their service. MESSAGE TO DEVELOPER: fix this, or at least get rid of T.LY service altogether.

pretty impossible to fault. 1 click to generate AND copy to clipboard. and it's a 1 character domain t.ly/about 4 character suffix. Wow.

I very much like your Url Shortener for Chrome. There's one feature I wish for, though. I was using a shortener for bit.ly the other day when I was creating a short URL on bbc.co.uk, and it automatically created a bbc.in link instead of a bit.ly one, which I think would be a valuable addition to your extension. I suppose some other sites also provide their own shortening schemes like bbc.co.uk. In addition, I wish the same thing for youtu.be links, too, which I guess is trivial.

I was very happy with this URL shortener... for a while. But, now I keep getting an error message. Google also wouldn't let me use the shortened URL (said it was suspicious) but when I tried to change the default from is.gd to something else, despite saving the change, it continues to use is.gd and trigger an error message. Tim, can you help me figure out what is going on?

Found this when I lost goo.gl and had to move to Bitly. Love the right-click ability to create a short url instantaneously.

It works well for my needs. I just right click the mouse on a page and copy the shortened link. Pretty simple and effective.

I had another URL shortener that stopped working and needed another extension to take its place. I found this one and it works great! I especially like the fact that it automatically adds the shortened URL to my ditto clipboard manager (also free!).

Exactly what I needed! Just click the icon and within 1-2 seconds the link is not only generated, but automatically copied to the clipboard. Choose from a variety of different shorteners--currently Goo.gl (soon to be defunct), Bit.ly, TinyUrl, is.gd, to.ly, and Cutt.ly--or create a QR code. And, as another reviewer pointed out, the icons are well designed. :)

Great extension! Is it possible to have a keyboard shortcut to automatically shorten the url of the active tab and have the link copied to the clipboard ?

This is a great URL shortener, definitely the best currently available. It has a good success notification, copies automatically to clipboard, can be bound to a shortcut, and has a context menu entry. Tim the developer is also amazing, I let him know about some issues and he responded and fixed them very quickly. He even implemented the context menu option after I noted it was missing. Really cool and highly appreciated!
