This extension is amazingly complex but simple to use and enabled me to print the information I needed from a web page that was otherwise impossible to print properly. Awesome!!

I love this extension, it is definitely the extension that I use the most. Print Edit WE is the essential extension everyone should be using. I have just the highest of praise and appreciation for this extension. That said, I'm disappointed that the "Advanced Options" button disappeared recently from the Preview mode. I use to be able to scale content on the page to ensure proper printing. Now the only available option remaining is to change the margins, setting custom margins. Loosing the scale feature is a huge loss that will impact the usefulness and performance of this great app. I appeal to the developers sensibility and compassion for their work to fix this issues as soon as possible please.

Came here after trying the extension "Print Friendly & PDF", which didn't work for the one-and-only site I wanted/tried it for. However, this app got the job done, just took a little more time and effort than I would've preferred.

It only prints the first page. If you're printing out something like a job description, there will be more than one page's worth of text, but only the first one shows up in the print preview, and also when you hit Ctrl+P. There is an option to save the optimized page as an HTML document (maybe it's possible to print that?), but it only works if you have another extention by the same people.

I love this extension - use it every day, multiple times a day. Have been having problems lately with the top Print Edit WE menu disappearing after I have already highlighted items on the web page to keep of delete, and then it will not give me the option to preview to print, save, or make any further changes, as there is no longer any Print Edit WE menu at the top. I have the latest version of Chrome (Version 94.0.4606.61 (Official Build) (64-bit)) and have also tried uninstalling and re-installing the Print Edit WE app, but I still have the same problem. Have also tried closing Chrome and re-opening a new session, but the same problem occurs. Would really like a solution as I am finding it difficult to be without this app. Any ideas or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think the app is written well. The problem is the complexity of the content that we want to simplify. I use it often, but modern web pages are so complex, I find it hard to use effectively & efficiently. One needs to be proficient with HTML to drill through the incessant layers of DIVs-of-DIVs, tables-within-tables, frames-within-frames that authors (authoring SW) use to construct pages.

I use this app all the time to save digital copies of recipes, receipts, and invoices.

It's extremely powerful to remove **ANY** unwanted contents and to fix the layout for printing. Highly recommended.

I used another extension for years and couldn't print one specific website, that drove me crazy because that was the most important website to me lol. I tried a lot of other extension and none of them worked on my website. until I found "Print Edit WE". I believe this is the best extension to edit html page on the fly and print it or save it. thanks a lot to the awesome developers who worked on this extension.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me on Chrome Version 87.0.4280.88. It looks like a promising extension, but any element selection I made didn't stick when using the Preview button- same System print page preview dialogue shows up just as if the extension was not installed.

AMAZING!! I love that you can delete so many elements from a page before printing - like deleting advertising and paragraphs and images that you might not want. SUGGESTIONS: 1) Sometimes, at a page break, the text is a bit corrupted. 2) It would be even more super awesome if you could resize the photos (so that extra large images would only be saved as smaller ones) Overall, love it! Awesome and easy to use!

I used to Print Friendly & PDF for web page printing. Print Friendly is more automatic/simple but it seem to messed up quite often. Print Edit WE is a lot of more flexible/powerful and gives you complete control on what to print or not to print. I found myself using Print Edit WE more often.

A simply superb tool - once you get used to having it available you'll never want to go without it! Very powerful feature set for choosing exactly what and how to display the page content before printing or generating true vector PDFs. I love this extension and have been using it happily for months!

I use this extension to save ink and paper when printing articles and recipes. It's also great for removing ads and unwanted photos when you want to save a .pdf copy of a webpage. Works great!

Does a good job of printing what i need and blocking/ deleting what i dont need. Saves ink.

others don't work , this did. great for editing gmails. first click print all, then exit out of the print dialog box, then click print-edit-we extension

I print a lot of receipts from online as a part of my job. This extension makes it easy to get things down to one page, which is a life saver for me. It really works great.

Does what I needed! I wanted to make some pages shorter before printing with priPrinter so that unnecessary content on the top would not cause a page-break. Works great!

Functions amazingly and is incredibly useful! Couldn't find a way to edit a page until I finally came across this tool which had all the tools I needed to fill out a form to create a club at my high school, Thanks!

Great for printing use because it helps remove unwanted ads and elements.

It was working fine until I noticed that none of the websites (any website) load and browser status bar says "waiting for Print Edit WE", but when I disabled the extension the pages loaded instantly.... I think it's potentially dangerous extension as they might collect your browser activity and what's on your screen. I don't see any other explanation why this might have happened.

Nice concept , need to add some feature like box out line or frame outline drag option... so we can print the total page in one page... over all it's very helpful for me.. thank team good work

Amazing! Really works, you just have to figure out the controls and you're fine. Have been looking for this for a long time.

Truly, I almost never print a page from the web without using Print Edit WE. There's so much junk and visible distractions on pages and sometimes I just want the words, or to pick and choose the images I'd like to keep. All that other stuff — poof! — it's gone. The extension has many more features than I think I'll ever need to use, but it's nice to know they're there if I someday need them. I can't imagine how much paper I've saved by editing with PE WE before going to print, and really appreciate being able to create cleaner-looking PDFs.

what the hap with not saving to pdf?

It is somewhat counterintuitive. I thought that "select" meant that it would print only what I select, but, it turns out, that you have to delete what you don't want, so it's exactly the opposite. However, once I did that (you can select pieces or drag the mouse to select entire areas within the page, even if it's off-screen (i.e., it'll scroll in the direction you're going)), I got exactly what I needed. I saved it to a file (which isn't necessary, but, I did it in case something went wrong with the app, browser, or printer), then printed the app's version, and it was perfect, albeit, larger than I thought (the save page was also larger than I thought it would be, even when I changed the page setup). So, all-in-all, it was good. (Windows 10, Chrome 66.0.3359.181 (Official Build) (64-bit))

After blacking out some sensitive information, the print result is still the same as original.

You can no longer choose where to save, and it does not remove the deleted sections when it saves, they just are styled as display:none

Awesome! I needed just read selected text on my ebook. This is the best solution (save selected and move via ftp to ebook), please continue support it! I have tryed SingleFile, Mercury Reader, Readability Redux, Save Webpage As Word Document, but this is the best for me.

Excellent plugin, the only one I found that enables to edit the document before Printing/Saving

This app should go into the app hall of fame! Awsome for getting rid of buttons and links you don't want printing. I use it a lot with cleaning up my online orders and invoices.

Useful in that it can eliminate all the unwanted ads, graphics & textual elements but needs some patience doing it one at a time. Would be better if it allows you to select and crop the region of the webpage you want to preserve, even if you do not want to change the fonts and formatting.

Very useful. What happened to Save Page WE? That was arguably the BEST straight HTML saver on the planet!

Disappointing. Could not edit text to delete specific parts. Can only select and delete whole pieces of text fields. I need to be able to delete specific numbers or letters.

Great app, not too intuitive to use at the start but very flexible. My only criticism: it is Web Edition, meaning all your content goes to the cloud for editing!

Why is this so inferior to the Firefox version? Half the time I can't get this version to do anything, and you when it does work, you can't set page size as a percentage of the original. Why?

very nice and smooth extension that i highly recommend , because of friendly interface , that is not so heavy on the Computer , with ability to save in Html or print , but i still wondering if i can dig more into editing the html source also , hopefully we see html source editing too added in the next releases if not available in recent releases .

There is no other extension that gives me the flexibility to cut out garbage and produce 'student-friendly' material, free of ads and other distractions. Blends with Chrome's print features to create a fast, user-friendly experience. Recommended.

Perfect extension for printing recipes. Let me quickly remove extra images and intro text that was pushing my printing to two pages when it could easily fit on one.

Used Aardvark extension on Firefox years ago, and than used Aardwark bookmarklet for years on Chrome. Finally a real complete print extension on Chrome! Not so intuitive for novice users but very powerful. Great job, keep coding!

I tried others as clean print and print friendly, both were garbage. Then I used Print Edit and voila, I was able to edit a page, removing what I wanted and print out a good decent layout. I found this works in most websites (nothing is 100%), even website pages that are divide up via PHP designs. Combine this with Chrome's print feature, Print Edit works excellently. Well done!!

An awesome tool that lets you take "tarted up" internet sites/pages and make it a wholesome document you mom can read. I use it to create printouts that I intend on keeping and archiving. Sure you can use it to quickly extract content to save printout wastage... but user may find it tedious and technical.

Tried to use it just now but for some reason, won't work anymore. Have to find a substitute.
