I really love this extension because it is not paid and can fix any grammar error I face, However, It can be better by adding more unique words like when we start a line it only gives choice of 3 words which are Furthermore, Not only that, and likewise. Kindly add more words to make it more better.

Simple & efficient! A great productivity tool available in many languages. I use it daily for French, Spanish & English spelling corrections

Great for spelling, but it has a terrible grasp on grammar. The free version has the basics and that's it. The program hates exclamation marks for some reason, and can't understand quotation marks. Will also sometimes mark things as an error, when in reality it's perfectly readable and understandable. If you want something for grammar Language Tool is not it.

Very handy product. I use the version of Google Extension, it constantly helps me in personal correspondence and writing online articles. Thanks to the developers!

The English and Spanish work exceptionally well!

Past Grammerly user here. Based on that experience, I find that LT is considerably less expensive, and has more focus on the syntax I write with. I use "picky mode" which is exactly what it sounds like, but puts intense focus on things like being too "wordy". After a month of usage, I am really liking it. FWIW: My company has LT on its approved personal tools list, Grammerly got yanked for keeping things in the cloud.

The best and only language tool that's ever worked for me. It's free, and I've been learning more and more how to write with proper grammar. Definitely a need for all!

I dont usually like to have a lot of extensions on chrome because it already eats memory enought, but after a while using the website this useful little tool convinced me of using its extension!

It's absolutely the best out there. I'm a teacher helping students from middle school to college with writing in MLA format. I also am in grad school using APA format for my assignments. I also work with a non-profit co-writing and revising grants, copy, press releases, etc. It is amazing how essential this program has become in all of these areas!

Now on LanguageTool. Let us see how well this one works in this post, ohhh, so far so good. Now we just hit the caution line with Grammarly, but LT appears to be correcting Grammarly mistakes. I see Grammarly added extra spaces behind that sentence, and LT corrected a word G. missed. Jesus, lol. This is actually kinda nuts. Grammarly just popped up with 8 mistakes, but LT just fixed 3 of those. At this point: G. is showing 5 mistakes while LT is saying 2.

This is a great tool for students. This is due to the fact that even the free version helps you a lot when correcting spelling or grammar. I love that it explains why it is correcting my mistake and not simply just doing it. What makes me love this tool as well is the fact that it has the option to correct your texts in many different languages. Which, in my case is quite useful since I tend to write in three different languages. I would absolutely recommend this tool.

Great. I love pairing the usage of this tool with grammarly, so that all mistakes are caught. It's also really helpful for my spanish homework as I can just change the language and it'll fix in spanish too.

I was using Grammarly for a long period. Then was recommended this extensions. On using this now I find it much much better than grammarly. Will be upgrading to the paid version soon.

My English writing and phrasing is not perfect, but LanguageTool helps me a lot. I tried WritingProAid, but it didn't suit me. Another exceptional tool is Grammarly, but the price is ridiculously high.

This is the best Language Checker of them all! It's just like grammarly, but has some/most of the premium features! Problem is, don't get the app unless if you want to switch over instead of Word/WPS etc. So far, it's great! MUST GET.
