Works great if and when you can get it to work. Half the time I have to keep hitting the button or reload my game to get it to work. Last time I had to reload the game I play 34 times to make it finely work
been using it for years, would like an update for the new YouTube "cinematics" background fade thing they added recently, it used to go full screen on click, but now you need to select the video. not a big deal, just lost a big chunk of this add-on's convenience
Honestly have no clue what's up with this extension. Around 4 days ago it suddenly just stops working after 6-7 uses until I restart my computer. Worked completely fine prior to that outside of randomly it would randomly fullscreen random images that were on whatever site i used it on for a few days.
Been searching for this for ages, finally found it. Works great. Please make sure it stays working <3

This extension was last updated 2014. For me it no longer works as intended as the videos are cut off in all browser sizes or placed in the top left of the screen. As mentioned in other reviews, I highly recommend "Universal Video Maximizer" until this extension is updated.
It will fullscreen videos but I lose access to media player controls like the arrow keys to skip back and forth, clicking the video anywhere to pause/play it, and most importantly video timelines don't work -- I can't click on the timeline to skip to a part of the video. Uninstalled after a few minutes of trying it.

Technically worked but it uses it's own timeline/player, meaning you might lose some features, such as subtitles.
The end result worked as expected. Now...just one more feature need to add. "contextMenus" for when you right-click in the page, and there's an extension that you can click on it. For this reason, if I am using "google-chrome --app="http://www.youtube.com"" command, it'll open to that specific website and it will remove all border/menus (Much like Kiosk) and by default, there'll be extensions being enabled...however, if you right-click, you won't see the extension for 'Fullscreen Anything' within the menu. For Developer, check "contextMenus" to add in the extension. https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/reference/contextMenus/

It doesn't work, you can't make things go into fullscreen. It doesn't even have a Graphic User Interface
Thank you to whoever did this! I've been racking my brain for the last two hours trying to figure out how to make a full screen window of a web video so that I can watch a show while I'm using another tab without wasting screen realestate on the website that I'm watching the video on. Every search result I found was just on basic windows snap tool tutorials, which is what I was already using, and a stupid trick that requires a vga port, no matter how I phrased the question. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that the window size is very limited, I don't understand why I shouldn't be allowed to make it as big as I want. Then again, the whole point of this is that I don't want it to be full screen, so I guess it serves it's purpose, I just wish there weren't any limits. Either way, this is one of the greatest extensions ever made, it's snappy with zero lag or loading time, practically instant transition, and can be viewed even while you're on another tab in the same window. This is one of those things that should be standard in chrome, but isn't.

needs some work. it doesnt always work and esp on vids it doesnt fill the whole broswer. it dose maker it bigger in the middle and also you cant use any of the players settings untill you turn it off but at least you can pause it.

The extension does nothing. Clicking the button does nothing. Hitting Ctrl-space does nothing.

Obviously there are some morons who don't understand the use of the program: "Just use F11! dirp-a-dirp-dirp!" Lol..dumb. This is not for that purpose. Full screening will ALWAYS take up the whole screen. This program allows you to make videos the size of the WINDOW. Which is great when you are taking notes for a class lecture and need half the screen for writing. Anyways, about the product itself: It used to work, now it never works. No idea what happened. Hope they fix it, it was very useful!
I wanted to make videos fill the window rather than the full screen. This extension failed. "Universal VideoMaximiser" worked for those in my shoes.

Super annoying. Needs to be a right-click type of thing. It enlarges everything and is as annoying as pop-ups were years ago. Massive images appearing out of nowhere merely because you stopped your mouse in the wrong spot. Add to that most of the 'full screen images' are blurry as all get up. Not an app that adds to your internet experience. Definitely not recommended.

It works fairly well, but has one major drawback: The video controls don't work at all. All you can do is pause and play, not skipping forwards or back.

Hey this is exactly what I was looking for. Works on cytu.be videos to fill up the browser space without being truly fullscreen, that's what I wanted.

it does work! love it, but sometime it can not hide the toolbar(play and pause, stuff), for instance, youku.com, tudou.com, etc.
Works as advertised for twitch, but doesn't work correctly for YouTube (video size does not change, and the background is black with some glitchy white areas)

EDIT: Does NOT work with Youtube HTML5. Keeps video same size, top left of the tab. Please fix this. Works with Youtube, Twitch, Vessel and anything else I can find. Doesn't work perfectly with HBO Now. I use a 16:9 monitor in portrait mode with 2 Chrome tabs occupying the upper and lower half of the monitor. I like to have a video playing in the lower part and whenever you click Fullscreen in YT or Twitch, it takes the whole monitor. With this, it maximizes inside the current tab and lets me use the other half of the monitor as I want. Perfect!! :D

works well for the current video, but if the video ends & a new one starts with fullscreen mode enabled, the screen goes black & i have to reload the page then re-enable fullscreen mode to get it working again... if you can fix this, i'll give it 5 ★s all the way

Amazing. NBC Sport Live Extra has a huge ad that ruins its full screen view. Fullscreen Anything fixes that! Turn this extension on and enter Chrome Immersive Mode. Glorious.

Hard not to give this extension full marks. Works as advertised and makes your movies or images stretch (proportionally) to fit the entire browser window. Awesome!
