Works as Advertised
Love the extension. Feature request: can you integrate tab groups somehow into the interface? Either make it the same as the "parent-child" relationships or something visually different.
I don't know your privacy policy, but the plugin you made is very useful.
I wish it was like the Tree Style Tab from firefox.
For some reason, since 20230129 this extension requests access to https://suggestqueries.google.com/* I do not think this new permission is necessary for this extension to work properly and no information has been added to the Overview page Uninstalling it
can you make it open in a separate window. in a tab or something.
It does exactly what I want it to. It allows you to view the "provenance" of where certain tabs came from. To avoid having to click the extension with your mouse, you can simply press Alt+Q
It doesn't actually support tab *trees* at all. It offers nothing that Ctrl+Shift+A doesn't already do.
This extension as it is right now is useless. But it has potential. If there is an option for manually arranging the subtrees and possibly naming the main trees.
Worthless / useless / literally doesn't do anything. My guess is the developer removed the ability to actually use it, or it broke. currently it literally doesn't do anything. Noticeably it has not been updated in years as well.
how useless it is, you have to find extension add on, then click it to show all the tabs. useless.
Best and most practical one I tried so far. by pressing Alt+Q you get a popup instead of a whole separate window, on which you see all the open tabs and their subtabs. You can navigate with arrows and switch to tabs or close them seamlessly. You can also type to search, results will be open tabs + browser bookmarks.
Great app. A simple solution to a common annoying problem during coursework etc, just wish it remembered after you closed and reopened chrome and if you could manually add sub-tabs (sort of like pages in onenote) and it would get a perfect 5*
A good start. But I wish it remembered the tree structure when I quit and reopen the browser. Instead, it flattens the list whenever I do that.
I don't hate it and yet I don't like it. Honestly don't see how its useful. When I clicked on the icon my expectation was not the tree structure of a single window rather tree structure of all windows. Since it is a "Tree style Tab" I expect it to open as side window or separate window like TabFern/Tab Outliner does. Look forward to future update and review. Thanks.
I really like this, but I'm not sure if its just me, but any NEW tab I open (clicking PLUS icon) shows as child of whatever tab I was looking at previously. This doesn't seem right? Any new tab I force open should surely be shown as a Root tab in the overall display? This makes my tabs end up looking really weird and whole new research branches are nested deep in other things. I am using Edge, perhaps this is an issue?
Nice, would be cool if you can configure for "fuzzy" search instead of exact word. Thanks.
I am wondering if this can be improved to fully match firfox tree style tab. the inline mode is not working very well in my dual monitor set up. the pop up is just jut convenient. please check the implementation of firefox tree style tab.
It is awesome!!!
Very good extension!. Is really nice to be able to momentarily see all tabs to switch when we are in fullscreen (also view more text of the title). Also I like that is focused in one thing to do it well. I like that is not an sidebar, the screen is meant to be used for the content, not menus/bars
i appreciate your innovation and helping me leave FireFox.
The good: hotkeys for opening and scrolling through tabls The bad: closing a tab brings the selection bar to the top of the list, making closing multiple tabs hard. No way to close an entire window at once.
It's an awesome app, it will even better the start position of focus in the tree tab is the current focused tab in the tab nav. It will be easier to navigate around then.
Is it possible to to highlight the current tab? It will be very helpful
The app does what it meant to do. If you are looking for an app that can build url trees, that's the best one(because it is the only thing that it does).
This is a great start. For me, it's half of an extension. I don't mind that it's not in a sidebar, because I think Chrome doesn't support that. But, the fact that I can't drag and drop reorder tabs into my own trees, means it's just not enough. Domain relationships just aren't how I organize tabs. If this were a popup expression of the type of save-sync-hibernate-restore custom tabs hierarchy of Tabs Outliner, but with better support and development, it would be a great thing indeed. As a task switcher alone, it's not nearly as fast or as intuitive as Quick Tabs.
Agreed that it would be more useful if it would as additional panel, perhaps, but not as "pop-up". And also, could you, please, add some options maybe to allow close all child tabs if parent one is dissmissed? Still, even with this disadvanteges, extension is very helpful, thank you.
If this was also a side panel I love it along with pinning tabs. Something like sidewise extention.
