this extension is lacking a lot of necessary tools and, unless you pay for premium, they have a limit on the amount of files you can edit. there are many other better extension that are free

Cannot edit a PDF. It will add text and annotate but you cannot actually delete and edit the existing text.

Its a very good tool, just hope that they can add an "erase" tool to erase some annotations instead of undo!

My work is ruined several times! Whenever I download it after editing, all the things except the highlights become blank!!! So frustrating!!

Why does it always rotate my image signature vertically no matter what i do to rotate the default image using image editor and when I upload my signature image file it always automatically rotates it vertically and theres no option to rotate it using this app pls. fix it

I already had an pdf extension but the reason i chose this over that is because that one didn't have multiple file selection such a simple thing any pdf website should posses but that didn't and I finally found this its the best (honest review)

BUYER BEWARE!! I used the extension for a couple of months. Not great. I cancelled my subscription. One year later the payments started again. I checked my account on the SmallPDF website. It says cancelled. No response to my emails requesting a refund due to unauthorized transactions. I have requested that they delete all my personal data as this seems like it has become a shady operation.

I think this is a great extension FOR LINUX AND CHROMEBOOK USERS. I have tried many pdf editor apps for both OS and most of them are terribly bad. This is definitely the best app I have found and does most things that I often need, very easily and fast. It is a perfect replacement for the Adobe that exists for Mac and Windows. If you are a Mac or Windows user, there are many apps that do the same for free. So, in those cases I do not recommend it. I saw comments about receiving tons of emails. You can change that in the settings, it's very easy! Just go to profile > email notifications > turn them off. Also, if you have the paid version there is no limit in the number of times you can use it per day. If you use a lot of PDF in Linux, then it's worth the money.

This application is the biggest waste of time I have ever used. I cannot find my file just disappears. I just want to do a simple conversion from a jpeg to a PDF not put a man on the moon.

I use Smallpdf daily so this simple extension is super useful. PWA, please. Strongly recommend getting a pro account. Watch out for special offers, though. You can pick up an pro account with a good discount.

It's not free, it's a free trial and then they try to sell it. We've all seen it before, I re added the extension just to warn people and now I'll delete it again.

why does this app even exist. after you edit a couple PDFs, you need to buy prenium. if you dont use it then it gives you a pop-up whenever you open your computer. this is a scam and you should use literally ANY other software.

Got the paid version, and it doesn't even let you add a watermark to a pdf. Doesn't seem like it does anything that isn't standard with microsoft office or windows or mac (ie convert to pdf)

While this extension is really handy in many cases, the editing part could definitely use some improvements. For instance, you can add text boxes however if you want to redo one, you have to delete the entire box, then retype it. If you use press the tab key even once, and save it, that text box goes completely ballistic. The text font size choices are very limited, there's only one font style choice, the text box goes slightly below where you wanted it to go. For the drawing feature, there is no eraser feature (!!), so you have to use a white marker to draw over your mistakes. Additionally, the draw color options are very limited, with there only being six colors available, that being black, white, sky blue, red, green, and yellow-orange. However, if you're not looking to use this for editing PDFs and rather other uses, then this is an amazing resource to have added to your extensions.

You can't actually edit a document but you can overlay on top of it. But I can not edit, I am trying to adjust a contract. I don't know if the paid version is different. this app is extremely miss leading.

I love using this program but neither I nor my client can subscribe to the PRO version! As a patent attorney for a multinational company, I use my credit card overseas frequently, especially in Basle, and never had problems except with this subscription. I prefer this to PDF Expert and Adobe Pro (both of which I have subscriptions) but smallPDF is so simple to use. Any suggestions?

Installed both through Chrome and via Google and it allowed me to edit the docs but I couldn't add a signature, print or download. It just kept hanging. Not impressed at first attempt.

Offered as an extension but when i tried to use it asked me for bank details. scam

This tool is the love of my life ( if I had one) You can trim pdfs and write on them with ease but the undo button can sometimes undo 2 moves at once. Overall 9.99/10 would recommend

It is the best app for both merging and converting files to pdf I had a lot of trouble with merging pdf files after converting them and found out smallpdf The best thing about this app is the you do not even have to download it So it saves memory for more important have-to download files

"Read and change all data on website you visit" isn't that a bit too much when all I want to do is work with a local file ?! Also, it uploads the local file to their website to edit it and make other changes. Again, nothing more than data collection.

Never seen a better PDF to Word conversion for free .....

I was totally annoyed by the typical Acrobat and other paid programs, their limitations and restrictions. I wanted something fast, that was integrated with my browser... This extension is exactly that, pretty cool so for! Congratulations to the developers!

They got my back when i was a broke college kid and adobe acrobat was too expensive. Now i am a pennypincher and small pdf still got my back.

Can't search text in PDFs.

any app that pushes push notification after you install it and tries to get you to remember to sue it is annoying and should be uninstalled immediately, as if they care that much about themselves and little about there customers, there going to try something else greedy unfortunate as i looked like a moderately professional app

This is less than 1 star for its dishonesty. It advertizes as free but won't let you use its Free Trial version even once without entering your credit card info. Without trying, I really cannot tell how bad or good it works. If you are looking for a free app for pdf compressor/ merger/ editor, look elsewhere.

Software - for example an extension - should do what I tell it and NOTHING MORE. If a piece of software out of the blue displays a pop-up covering part of my desktop, then I am uninstalling that POS immediately. This is behaviour that I find repugnant, despite the insistence of most major software monopolies (Google, Microsoft et al) doing it. To have some 2-bit plug in do it as well is terrible UX. Curiously, despite uninstalling this spammy extension, the same popup appeared the next time I logged in to my computer. I'll be looking for a PDF extension that knows its place.

Exactly what I needed!! The only thing I would change is the way the text boxes work. Sometimes it is hard to get back in to type. The circles to make it bigger or smaller get in the way sometimes. I'd also like to be able to better align the text box to the lines on the form. But seriously, those are such minor things that don't impact the end result, and the program is still perfectly functional, and MUCH better than other programs I've tried. Thank you!!!!!

This app is great until they try to charge you a hundred and eight dollars a year to use it. It's literally more expensive than Adobe's trash subscription service for acrobat. Use it while free, don't support this kind of price gouging.

I want to use trial version but it ask for debit/credit card. Why should I put my details without assessing its utilisation. If I would like i would have pay the amount after 14 days. Time wasting.

I worked on a document via smallpdf for over 2 hours, then smallpdf failed to save it and offered to start again: NOT GOOD AT ALL!!!

I'm paying for the premium features and it crashes my Gmail every time I try to use it. Would be great, but simply doesn't work.

It costs $108 per year. One star, because I wasted 30+ minutes filling out 90% of a form, only to see it disappear with the sudden 'offer' to begin a free trial. No back button. It's nice outside today; I'll never get that half hour back.

I'd rather pay for something than have to sign up. It lets you do something, then won't let you save it until you register. Just say upfront you must register to use our software. Why the trickery?
