not working properly

I love it except that I the popup is clipping the hex and rgb numbers for lack of space. what do I do?

Loved it but the ads are annoying and bounces around your screen.

Works good. You can easily find a colour in Hex or any other colour code in your tab. I use it quite alot and yeah it's good lol. No complaints are of now of me just downloading it.

It's weird because the one on my other account works so smoothly. Meanwhile I can't get the one on this account to work without "Snap mode" (where it opens a snapshot in a different tab and you pick the color there). It doesn't matter too much though, it's just one extra click for an otherwise very easy-to-use extension.

Great extension! To get 5 stars, it would be great to be able to show the rgb values in the range of 0-1 as that's what many software use instead of to 255. Dividing it manually is an extra work by 255. An extra bonus is to show where the color is on the color wheel. Fantastic extension nevertheless, the hexadecimal is useful for now.

Color picker worked on one tab, but made another tab with a click-and-drag GUI malfunction. I did not open the extension on this other tab, but it still made the crosshairs in the GUI bounce around uncontrollably within their intended operating area, and when I moved the cursor off the GUI, the crosshairs tracked my cursor, flickering.

I installed this color picker on a recommendation and absolutely love it!! I just opened a new chrome profile and installing this extension was one of the first things I did. I cannot emphasize how easy it is to use and how intuitive this tool has become for me. If you're choosing between color picker extensions, I HIGHLY recommend this one. 10/10 stars

its amazing because it shows next pixels, which is the best thing ever, and its funny how most other color pickers don't have that. Also don't forget that the people who made this amazing tool said they don't take your data.

I've used others and this is by far the easiest to use. So glad I can used this on MS Edge now.

It really works, unlike other extensions I have tried which turn out to be a virus. And it works well!

There are better ones out there now. OLD REVIEW -- probably the best colour picker out there. i loaded up all of the extensions and this seems to be the best. it zooms in for precise pixel colour. most extensions don't have these. the picker stays in the colour of the browser and when you come back it's still on the same position so you don't loose it. default information is the HEX code which can easily be transposed to rgb etc. using: macbook air, for ui ux precision web design

Ok, now that the color is picked, how to I STOP using it? Also, every pop-up disappears when trying to click on it. I'm gonna find one that is more intuitive.

I've never had a chrome extension seize my brand new i7 before, but this sure did. Had to hard reboot the computer, as it took such control of the computer that ctrl-alt-delete wouldn't work, nor anything else. Complete garbage it would seem. Don't install this.

It used to work perfectly fine but then an update made it unbearable. Has large sponsored message boxes can not be dismissed unless a license is purchased, nothing noted about license on Chrome Web Store, closes message box once hovered over and immediately opens new large message box in different corner of the screen.

It's nice that a color is selected by clicking on a color in an image. The bad news is that the accuracy is awful. About as close as saying "green is not red".

I use this DAILY for grabbing hex numbers as I'm working. Thank you for this great tool!

As a web designer, I don't how I lived without this for so long. I've been using it for over a year and it makes it SO EASY to pick colors from a client's logo or even a random color scheme I like in a Google image search. Definitely a must-have for designers.

It's awesome to pick the color.

I was concerned that this plugin would have access to too much information, so I was relieved that you mentioned that you only capture a screenshot (chrome.tabs.captureVisibleTab). I inspected the popup and see that you aren't sending any information to a third party, and I appreciate that as well. I was wondering if you could use the activeTab permission instead of all_urls? Just for peace of mind. After all, https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/tabs#method-captureVisibleTab says that should be possible. Anyway, great work! Thank you very much for making this for free! Fantastic UI concept, and lots of little embellishments, like adding your picker to all input type=color elements.

Works great, just what i needed. I searched for it, added it to Chrome, and was ready to go in less than 10 seconds.

I HATE THIS I USE IT ON PICTURES AND IT DOESNT WORK ANYMORE

works nicely. has been asking me to buy a license recently, not sure if that has any features attached or if it's just to support the developers? it doesn't seem to stop me from using it, so i'm not too worried (even if it does stop me, it's pretty cheap so again, not too concerned, more just confused) i've had this extension installed for a while now, and while i don't use it often, it does what it's meant to do when i need it to, and that's enough for a good rating.

Not working anymore ! needs registration ?...

This tool was working fine, today it said I have to register it, so I went and paid the money, but it still says i need to register it, and I could not get a refund even though it was within 30 mins. Either give me a working version or pay me back. I don't have time for this.

I tried with different pickers and this have all I want. You can pick the color from a web site for image opened in browser. Works nicely

After trying so many better extentions on the store this is the one which actually works. I would request only one improvement, please add # sign before the code for copy purpose , i would give it 5 star if this was there.

I've been using this plugin for years and it hasn't let me down. The user interface is a little rough around the edges but I've tried other dropper tools and came running back to this one. It does the job and does it well.

I do like it, the zoom is great ad it works well because for some colorpickers they mess up a online game, of corse this one kinda does by freezing it but it's not the end of the world, im giving it 4\5 because for me personally it takes a while to load

This one is actually helpful. Other droppers for Chrome are a challenge for it to pick up the color you need it to. The zoom tool is very helpful. Like it a lot!

It may be very messed up when it come to use and interface, but unlike most of the other options this one gives an actual color dropper, plus a little zoomed in assistance grid, and it gives the hexadecimal color names

Bad for editing html or css from the browser dev tools - it places it's own section above the rest of the elements and there was a problem with copying the hex value several times

I am going to be honest , brutally but it isnt bad and it may keep real picky people on the site longer. When it first appeared my first thought was the graphics looked out dated....But it means nothing in the abilty of this picker. So, please no grief for giving my honest opinion. 5 *****

I love this tool. I'm colorblind so I use this in conjunction with a website that gives a color name to hex code. It's simple to use, it gives you a little box that zooms in so you can select down to the pixel for which color you want.

As a front end web developer this comes in handy all the time. easily get the HEX color from anywhere on the internet.
