1/13/2023 We need Chromebook-specific applications and websites that are up-to-date, effective, well-built, and user-friendly.Not a bad idea it needs some fresh eyes and attention to start 2023 right.I can not sign in,Its clearly been abandoned by the developer.It needs to be taken down or updated, Sad really. I would be happy to see an acknowledgment from a developer for the new year 2023 lol.

The app is worthless!

I love the Weather Underground app. That's why I was excited to try this out. First it wouldn't recognize my account. I thought "No big deal. I'll just sign up again." Tried that and it said "email already in use" Tried again with another gmail address... Nope. It wont accept it for some reason. So I guess I"ll see what a non account holder experience is like.

I live in Ohio and when I push the calendar button it puts me in Erlanger,KY.

The best weather app I've found so far. Takes a little tinkering to get it set up properly, but it's really, really good once that's done.

Brilliant extension with a constant local temperature update and a detailed 10 day forecast in the popup. It is quite reliable and have used it for a number of years now.

Doesn't work, doesn't let you log in.

Works well as long as you have the zip code or city plugged in. It doesn't save your login to WeatherUnderground. Therefore, you need to sign in each time open your browser. Otherwise, the extension works as intended. It displays the WeatherUnderground data without opening the full website.

I have had many problems with this one in the past. NOW the Weather Underground app is working perfectly and even has the Congonhas International Airport weather conditions which is so close to us. Yay, very happy that it's opening correctly each time now :)

Works great! The configuration is really clear and easy to follow. I find it to be spot on so far!! You guys should do notifications for upcoming good weather...Just a thought.

Was looking for something to replace accuweather extension, but this one isn't it. The dropdown won't resize so you have to scroll or go to the site to see anything other than the temperature.

I used Weather Underground for years and found it to be very useful. Then in the last 6 to 8 months, the 10-day forecast does not work at all. I removed and reinstalled to no avail. The app is worthless!

Doesn't change to Celsius, clicking on the Gear does nothing!

Pretty good app, but I would like the radar map to be a lot bigger. Instead of being relatively small in a tab that also shows the current conditions and forecast, the map should have it's own tab in the app.

I don't know what they did about 6-8 months ago but whatever it was they took a decent extension that was fairly reliable and accurate to what it is today,a piece of wasted space that either needs to be totally revamped or just put out of our misery all together. There is a sightly famous saying in that "IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT". You should have left it alone.I have all of my weather station equipment set up and ready for weather underground but until this extension is fixed I will not be hooking it up.

Works great, although I tend to lose the weather station I've selected, and it reverts me to one across town that I find to be inaccurate (saying it's 40 when it's closer to 20, likely just bad positioning on that user's part). Luckily, I can just select one of the other weather stations closer to my house.

Sadly, despite an update from the developer in the past few weeks after updates from both Chrome and Weather Underground, Forecast Plus still isn't what it used to be. There's consistently discrepancies between the temperature/icon displayed in the browser and the temperature/conditions displayed when expanding the forecast. It also no longer automatically loads the 10 day forecast by default nor does it remember that was the last click. So, every time I want to see the current conditions and forecast with graphs, I have to click a minimum of three times. And in many cases, clicking on the browser icon does nothing at all or delays popping up the window anywhere from 5-20 seconds after. These issues have rendered the add-on relatively useless for me.

I used to love this extension but now it loads very slow. None of my other extensions are loading slowly. Please fix this. I contacted the developer. No response so far.

Date, about 9-1-17. Worked fine till Chrome updated to version 61.0 now the temperature and sky icon won't show anything. It worked perfectly till this update. :( Also, after I click it, the weather station I selected before doesn't come up and I get the default page and I have to click the favorite cities icon to bring it up. It worked fine before. :( I had removed it twice and reinstalled it hoping that would work but it still does this. :( Update: (added this 9-21-17) Now it's working fine. Perhaps this extension was updated by the maker because now it's it's great again!

The most recent Google Chrome update broke this add on, to the point where it wouldn't display any forecast at all. However, I am glad to report that the add on has since been updated to be compatible with the latest version of Chrome. With that said, I highly recommend this add on. I don't know about other countries, but it is very accurate in reporting forecasts here in Australia.

No longer allows me to select a different weather station, even though Weather Underground lists several PWS's in the area. Great extension before it was broken.

Won't even open for me on a Chromebook. Uninstalling.

had an issue for a while where i was unable to scroll down in the UI, but it appears this has been fixed-- best weather/radar/forecast extension on chrome!

After using it for about 2 weeks it seems far and away the best weather extension I've tried. It's a mini personalized Weather Underground website down to my favorite local personal weather station, faithfully updated every 2 minutes. I have encountered a couple of hiccups. I at first had it set to update every minute and that seemed to freeze the updating to not working. Changed it to 2 minutes and have had no further problems. Also encountered a morning when it didn't show any information other than current conditions. Scrolling down was a blank page. Only a problem for 1 day. Well, this is getting kind of long.. just one more thing, as of right now , this extension is actively supported, as the last update was today. Give it a try!

I have been looking for a weather app that I liked ever since I switched from Firefox. The extension I had did exist for Chrome, but it wasn't nearly as good. After trying a few frustrating extensions, I finally got lucky and discovered this gem. I love the layout, and it basically has everything you could want. Current conditions, 10 day forecast, nice looping radar with a few tweaking options. Definitely a keeper.

This is what I was looking for after weatherbug seemed to bite the dust. I wanted forecast, radar and the temp on my toolbar and that's exactly what I got.

Very useful and not obtrusive in the browser. One of the best extensions I have used to date.

Just works. Detected my location correctly automatically and shows a lot more data than others. Does not need Flash!

best weather extension for India and other countries out of several I have tested. apart from temperature it has got so many reports and multiples maps

Strange blank banner above forecast window. Also doesn't show weather alerts on the icon like Forcastfox. Needs to be updated.

lOVE HOW IT SAYS "WARMER, OR COOLER THAN YESTERDAY" that helps me dress for the day. tried EVERY weather app for my work i like this BEST also love no crapware.

Only one that gives me weather info to within less than a mile of my location.

Most other extensions give the temperature in another town 15 miles away. And here in MN, that means a BIG difference. Forecast plus gives me the temps of MY town.

Lots of information at your fingertips. A worthy replacement for Forcastfox which recently went from utterly awesome to utter crap.

Hands down the best weather extension available. Nice to be able to get so much info without having to open an app within the browser.

Spent some time trying to change my city. Went to the ridiculously small map (it has to be this small!?), and chose my city---it did not change. Tried to figure out what was not working, and then got annoyed and deleted it. IT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE THIS HARD. Life is too short.

Best weather extension so far.

Finally, a weather extension, that's not an app, and it works. I previously used forecastfox, but with that one being abandoned for the new age of *apps*, the extension is no more. I've searched for a few months, periodically, looking for a *decent* replacement. Forecast Plus is a good weather extension thus far... far better than the others out there, even those with thousands of high-star ratings. Don't let the number of users/votes fool you. This is definitely worth a try.
