it's good!

this is literally the same as if you were to simply add a bookmark of the bookmark manager page to your bookmarks bar except you don't have to install an extension to do so.

this is best we can get atm wish there was a better UI, so can mass delete and re group(change it location)

All I needed was a bookmarks manager which lets me look at my bookmark folders and move bookmarked links between folders. This does the job!

Needs to be updated. The setting to specify the default bookmarks folder to open doesn't work anymore. It assumes that the URL must use "#". But the URL now uses "?id=".

Ctrl + Shift + O Does the same thing. It just opens bookmark manager for you. It is a link. Do not see the point.

I don't know why this is being discontinued. This is a really good extension.

Early review immediately after install. Well so far this is the best thing I've tried, not to imply it's great, but the fact that I can just open my bookmark tree and start deleting my empty folders is more than I've been able to do with any of the other bookmark "manager" extensions I've tried for chrome, so Bravo so far for at least looking like this app actually does something! The first drawback though is I can't right click a folder and move it. With this app you're forced to manually move things around, but again, at least you can. Not what I'm looking for, but better than most I've tried so far, which have gotten one star for doing next to nothing other than displaying your bookmarks, which chrome already does.

If you're super OCD like me then this is one quick and effective extension that will appeal to all your organizational compulsions. It took me 2 minutes to sort out 5 years worth of messy and unsorted bookmarks simply because it would all be hidden away in a folder i will forget about when its crunch time. However, for this extension, you will find a white and blue star that appears on the top right rise of your webpage better known as the extension panel. It will directly take you to a page of its own, without disrupting your current landing page. Brilliant!!! It may not be for everybody, this is my experience with Open Bookmark Manager - It really does as it says.

A round about way to add a more sensible bookmark manager hotkey to Chrome, but it gets the job done. Now if I could hide it from the menu as well as the bar and keep that hotkey function...

This is a great help and far easier to use than Chromes' horrible Bookmark Manager. I recommend it to everyone to finally get their bookmarks under control as they want them.

Cannot see the point, made my own shortcut for this on Day 1.

Would give this extension 5 stars as it's brilliant (allowing you to configure a single keystroke to open bookmarks): except for one thing - each time you use it another instance of a Bookmark Manager tab is opened. Would it not be possible to reselect an existing tab if one is already open, rather than opening a new tab?

Excellent, simple, and the layout of Bookmark Manager is just like Windows Explorer - perfect.

Helpful to have the button, but seems broken otherwise. The options link to configure things such as the keyboard shortcut only pops up a help page which tells you to click the options link. Thus, I cannot access the options or configure the keyboard shortcut. This is on Windows 10 in Chrome Version 45.0.2454.85 m

Very good but it may take some playing around to find out how it works. Also, it does not sort out by alphabetical order. However, the good things outweigh the minor bad things. I wanted to rate it 4.5 but I can't so I rated it 5. I wish the extension was available on Mozilla Firefox as well.

Excellent! I changed from Mozilla because I had it with it being an absolute memory hog, I've been holding out for years due to most of my extensions not being available and I always hated Chrome's bookmark manager. Now thanks to you I can browse with Chrome just as I did in Mozilla.

Should be integrated into Chrome. Having a bookmark manager which remembers not only which folders were open but also the last one highlighted rather than opening everyone by default is huge time savings. +1
