I have two CCTV apps, But I couldn't get past all the ads to even try to open this one! Removed straight away. Had to re install just to write the review!
You'd think that there would be detailed instructions on how to use it but there just are'nt any. Never got it to work.
the extension just takes me to the website, where it says click to install the extension, which then brings me back here.
Not working
Works great with every camera link I set up. Ignore other bad reviews about setting it up, they are morons who can't follow instructions. Great little extension ! I have been using it for over 3yrs so it works! I add traffic camera links & public webcam links. ~C~
Kinda useless without adequate (read: ANY?) proper documentation. What little "Help" exists is most unhelpful, to be frank. Seems the developer assumes end users are also mind readers.

Not what I was looking for. This only works with public web cams, no options for user/password, ports etc. I'm sure it will work for some, but not me, sorry.
My web cam system only has an IP address, you have had lots of previous low ratings from similar insalations. It appears your application only works with a server at the remote location which would imply an IT engineer is involved at the remote location in which case they could easily provide viewer software making your design redundant. Please complete the job and add an extension that works from a IP address only, then you will have created software that is truly useful.

This extension works fine with my Foscam camera but it doesn't work with my DLINK DCS932 cameras :( If it would work with these cameras then it would by a 5 star app for sure.

Works great! At first it was a little confusing only because I didn't pay attention to the pop up text after the initial installation, but now it's up and running wonderfully! Left click opens the tab with your cameras while right click gives you access to options so that you can add your cameras. Help/installation can be found there too @Neal Kinney

Setup is absolute pain... Spend a couple of minutes on full camera install instructions guys. deleted.

Doesn't work with Swann, just like all the other extensions. If you have Swann, use Firefox, type your Default Gateway or IP Address in the address bar, when it prompts you to install DvrWebClient.exe (if using Windows), install it, restart the browser, and go back to the gateway/IP.
Works less often than it doesn't. Shame.

Cannot find set-up instructions. Puzzled by so many non-working options. All I want to do is view my security camera on Chromebook. Much too complicated for me!

Works very well on a MacIntosh running Chrome v38. I did need to click on the red X in the URL area to allow the plugin to run automatically. Also I needed to reload the page to get past the page that says to download the WebClient Plugin to get to the actual login page for the QSEE system I'm setting up for a client. The DVR worked with Safari after installing the WebClient Plugin, but I wanted to use Google Chrome. Thanks for your work!

This is quite a simple program go to the source of the feed left click on inspect element for chrome it will highlight the link you want and then copy and past the image URL to your CCTV app options and away you go
it's installed with a malware.
Works as described. Would be nice to have http authentication or at least have it work with Avtech DVRs.

This extension is perfect for providing a quick view of your IP security cameras. I see a lot of negative reviews on this, but I acknowledge that some advanced knowledge is needed to set this up. You really do have to search a lot to see how to find the streaming mechanism of your camera. For me, this extension is perfect. :)
No explanation on how to set up. When you start it there is no image. Wasted my time!!!

I have several IP cameras that can serve mjpeg. I added all the URLs and it worked perfectly. A little laggy when clicking the button while the extension fetches the stream, but overall it works as advertised. Thank you!

look I am not able to set up the zoneminder recommended program...too complicated. Thought you could recommend a more user friendly partner..i run windows 7. i read these instructions on wiki and I'm lost..sorry "To build ZoneMinder the first thing you need to do is run the included configure script to define some initial configuration. If you are happy with the default settings for the database host (‘localhost’), name (‘zm’), user (‘zmuser’) and password (‘zmpass’) then you can just type ./configure --with-webdir=<your web directory> --with-cgidir=<your cgi directory> where --with-webdir is the directory to which you want to install the PHP files, and --with-cgidir is the directory to which you want to install CGI files. These directories could be /var/www/html/zm and /var/www/cgi-bin for example.
