I think that PWA is great but it takes a little time to get used to, There are times when the suggestions don't make sense and you have to take them with a pinch of salt but in general, its a great way to edit your books

I love this extension and I use it on everything now!! It's much better than Grammerly in my opinion because it does a lot more, like suggestions for rearranging sentences based on split infinitives! *I am bad at this!) I used this program throughout my Master's program and received less revisions than other students. I use it in my professional work now and plan to purchase the lifetime version.

The Service is good but the Chrome extension is a CPU Hog, The service worker for the extension needs a lot of CPU to run in my case constantly 5% of the CPU time and up to 20%!. It is the most consuming extension in Chrome far ahead of Gmail or AdBlocker with 0.1%-0.3% CPU

I mostly use it to catch minor spelling mistakes, but it also helped me extensively with bigger issues in word choice, grammar, and sentence composition. Ideal choice for someone who writes and edits often. My only complaint would be the paraphrasing tool, which falls slightly short of Grammarly and Wordtune, but I can't be too hard on it because it is still in beta production. All in all, probably the best tool the market offers. With a one time purchase compared to a monthly subscription, you'll save your wallet from its competitors in the long run! :)

I added the program again just to leave a poor review. Each of these AI's is to greedy to allow one paper to be completed. How is one supposed to choose between so many in such a limited amount of words? Then, what I did get done was lost in the cut and paste, and ProWritingAid was a complete waste of time. SCALENUT IS THE BEST TRIAL SO FAR!! They cut you off by the day and don't steal your work.

Couldn't do without it!

The only reason I give it a four is because if you make a document too long, it becomes glitchy. So recommend no more than a chapter's worth of text at a time. Other than that, this is a fantastic tool

I have used some other grammar checking and for the cost I would say this is the best value for the money. I have definitely improved on my writing style. I would very much like to see an active sentence/paragraph rewriter. I use a second service for this but I hate to bounce back and forth

I prefer ProWritingAid way more than Grammarly. I love the way it works with all my writing apps and how it integrates seamlessly. ProWritingAid is also clear and informative which helps in making the right decision at times when I just can't decide. When I am tired and maybe just cant think clearly, at that moment ProWritingAid is an excellent tool to have to keep me from making writing errors I would have otherwise not made. ProWritingAid is excellent in keeping me on top of it with regards to writing and the English language.

This extension has really been helping me improve my writing for my blog!

Very flexible tool by virtue of its ability to integrate with other writing software. That is a huge plus in its favor. This simplifies the administrative work of a writer. Downside is that some of the algorithms get a little confused about whether or not a comma is required. Good value for money.

It's pretty good, but I have a few problems with it. First of all, when I click full editor and click cancel, it sometimes deletes my writing. Second, when I type on google docs and it goes to the next page, it considers it as a new sentence, even if it's not. Otherwise, I %100 prefer it to Grammarly. It's nice that you can customize your needs for whatever you're writing, Grammarly just assumes you're writing an important business email and you need to be "convincing" or whatever.

Umm. This might be me just overexxagerating but PWA is 1M/10 for me. I loved it.

I use it with Scrivener mainly. I much prefer it to Grammerly.

I am using PWA since 2018 and never looked back in anger. Like all software, the people behind PWA never stop developing. And I am thrilled with the help this program gives me all the time. When I write, I don’t have to interrupt my flow of thought. I get my stuff done and go over it. I run the reports a few times over my stuff to correct my mistakes until I’m satisfied with my work. After which I carry on writing the next chapter. Getting the Lifetime licence was the best decision for me. The different reports are an amazing help. What an excellent time saver this is. And to crown it all, the development continues all the time.

It's really good. In a way, it's more four stars than five but I'll round up due to it acting a bit more seamless than Grammarly which, for whatever reason, as browser plugins disconnects half the time.

I really like this tool, its grammar correction is on another level.

I am a Premium user. Very clunky. It is no Grammarly: the access and organization of the documents directory is an UI from a cave. I changed from Grammarly to save money—ha, ha—another fine mess I've gotten myself into. Very clunky. Beware. I should've tried premium for a month before I signed up for a year. In Google docs it works sporadically—just often enough to drive you nuts. It is a confusing experience. I sign in and it gives me a screen to purchase—what is that? I have added the Google Add on, and it gives me a screen that says—"You should try the Google Add On." I have an icon on my Google doc and when I activate it, click on it; it says for technical reasons unavailable. I wish I'd never wasted my money on this. You'd better have a 24" monitor and not need reading glasses. The entire app doesn't scale well; the text sizes: the instruction boxes overlay the document text, so it is a struggle to find the error in analysis. And? I still haven't found out where to see how many words are in the document. Very clunky. If your time is worth money to you—forget it—go back to Grammarly.

Starting my second book, had trouble getting PWA to initiate, did not want to write without it. Very glad I finally got it going.

Amazing program

Overall, this is the best grammar checker out there. I havent bought the subscription yet, but even the free version does a thousand times more than what Grammarly does for free. However, I have noticed that sometimes, it contradicts itself. Sometimes when I write shorter sentences, it wants to me write longer or have a variety. When I write longer sentences, the sticky content rises up. Sometimes it tells me to use a stronger verb but later it tells me to simply my writing with a simpler one which I used in the first place. And the cycle goes on. Other than that, would definitely recommend using this. Also, can't wait for an android version for the same!

While not perfect in every way, ProWritingAid is the next thing to perfection. It certainly saves time when it comes to editing a proofreading a project.

ProWritingAid is the single best assistant for writing I know of. It has provided invaluable assistance in writing my novel, and is there when I'm writing email or entries on Twitter or Mastodon. The Chrome extension means that I can use it with GoogleDocs and just about everything I write. To be frank, there can be problems when their system becomes overwhelmed, and my 86,000 word manuscript makes it choke, but breaking the book into chapters allow everything to work perfectly. The punctuation and grammar corrections are dead on. I only take about 33% of the writing technique suggestions, but those are invaluable. In short, ProWritingAid has become an integral part of my writing, both formal and informal.
