A problem exists with this extension. Github does a second refresh after the page loads, and by deactivating extensions, I discovered that this is the problem. Please look into and resolve the problem.

Today, 25th January 2022 I got an e-mail from pCloud "pCloud: What’s New? - How to Save directly from the WEB to pCloud?" What a nonsense. This extension isn't new, but already exists since 2019 and still doesn't work with Multi-Factor Authentication enabled. There's no mention at all of this error in the e-mail nor on the website of pCloud, notwithstanding that the pCloud is already aware of this since the introduction of this extension. From the 33 reviews, 8 reviews mention the 2-step authentication. Joe Philipps (19 Sept 2021) says it very well: "When you tell a user who enters a provably correct user ID and passphrase that it's not good, because you simply didn't have the foresight to anticipate multifactor authentication, that's bad information. For a company that CHARGES EXTRA for an encryption service, you'd think they know a thing or two about security. I'm not going to lower my security standards by disabling 2FA so that I can run a stupid Chrome extension." Moreover, this extension is useless even if it works for those people who don't use 2FA. Just read the comments of Lexi (23 Oct 2021): "I don't like that pCloud Save doesn't let you choose the location to save to... You end up with a bunch of auto-created folders auto-named based on the origin location, then you have to go into pCloud and move everything to where you want. It's not necessarily easier than downloading everything to your hard drive and manually uploading to your pCloud folders." So, pCloud... why do you send an e-mail four years after the introduction of an extension in which you pretend to introduce a new extension which is already four years old and, moreover, still has the error that it can't be used with 2FA but is also completely useless as it doesn't let the user decide where to save files in pCloud. I just removed it again as I already did four years ago!

There's a bug, when I choose remember me, can't login to my account, the extension kicks me out. But when I don't choose remember me, it works for me. Please fix this bug

It's my first time using the pCloud Chrome browser extension. I'm hoping it's just that this is a new extension and these issues will be worked out over time, because I like pCloud storage a lot so far and would like to keep using it. I don't like that pCloud Save doesn't let you choose the location to save to... You end up with a bunch of auto-created folders auto-named based on the origin location, then you have to go into pCloud and move everything to where you want. It's not necessarily easier than downloading everything to your hard drive and manually uploading to your pCloud folders. The extension also saved some images as weird slideshows (looks like a Tetris layout of the image repeated a few times) and froze up on one page so that I had to refresh to be able to scroll or do anything. For a first time use, this was discouraging!

I tried multiple times to login but I always get an error. Would be great to save files to pcloud. Please fix your bugs.

tells me my username and/or password is incorrect, even though it is provably so. I use a password manager program, and pasted my passphrase into the login dialog, then filled in my username very carefully, triple checked, yet when clicking the login button, it refuses to log in. Use the very same credentials in any Web browser, it succeeds. I would have to guess it's because I have multifactor authentication enabled (as virtually everyone should!). I can't even test if, I would have paid for the crypto service, this extension would prompt for my additional crypto passphrase,;it won't let me get that far (I still have a few days left of my free trial). If it can't even properly handle basic login, somehow I doubt it would handle that additional passphrase.

hate it! can't log in!

It has been many years but we poor pCloud users are still not able to use the extension because of multi-factor auth. Shame on you pCloud!

Doesn't work, can't login

I login via extension but as soon as I try to save something, I'm immediately logged out. I'm a paying customer, as well.

Doesn't work with 2FA, so useless

Impossible to log in. Despite web based program working perfectly, it keeps telling me I have wrong username or password. Waste of time!

Now that after I login it logs me out and says my session has expired even though I was only wasn what seemed to be logged in for 1 second will it be fixed in 2021 even ? In its current state this add on is totally USELESS

Does not allow login if your datacenter is EU region. pCloud support is not committed to resolving this anytime soon. Also, you need to pay $20 to change the datacenter region to US and it will render your account unusable for a few days. pCloud does not commit on how long will the process take.

Didn't work for me. After installing it, and trying to use it (on a Chromebook), I kept getting the message that I had to log in again. Although it did set up a pCloud Save folder for me, it failed completely to save anything to it. Since others seem to have had a similar problem, without having had any solution, I plan to uninstall it.

Can't login into the extension, it seems it won't understand how to handle two-factor auth. (Username & password were certainly entered correctly as these were copied from the password manager)

the web and desktop software is perfect but this extensions not working. not logging too. i used it two year aago but today its not working pleas fix it. thank you very much. i appreciate you dear pcloud staff

It does not accept my username and password. Every user with 2FA seems to have this problem. Useless.

i can login to my account by browser but can't login in to this browser extension. saying wrong username or password even after many tries. This is happening after 2FA on :(

Problem; You allow people to sign up to PCloud using their Google accounts but there's no way to log into the Chrome extension using it. Um....yeah, that's a problem. One star until this is fixed because I can't use it. until then.

The extension doesn't work with two-factor authentication enabled. The developers are aware and have been saying for months that this would be addressed. It hasn't been. So if you want a product to save web content but ALSO value account security, look elsewhere.

The Upload is not REMOTE. uses local internet connection to upload. uses internet as if am downloading to pc. speed depends on my bandwidth. am disappointed .was looking for something that can DOWNLOAD TO CLOUD remotely/directly. and faster than my internet connection. something more or less like multcloud.com. Multcloud has no plugin or context menu shortcut like pcloud & cant work for all sites.... but pcloud only saves space on my PC.. does not save my unlimited data-plan. I wonder what is the "REMOTE TRAFFIC" cap for if you use my traffic.

Despite multiple tries, it keeps throwing error about incorrect username or password. I know I am writing them correctly since I am able to login on teh pcloud website.

It is a very useful platform, Only if the storage capacity should have been increased from 20 GB to at least 50 GB , the n it would have been fantastic

Link creation and sharing don't work from the extension.

tried saving images, double or sometimes even triple saves same image over again. would love ability to choose which folder to save into. would love to also be able take screenshot annotate and save into folder.

Problems signing into sites & being signed out of sites for no reason when pCloud Save enabled.

pcloud is very easy to install and use.I highly recommend PCLOUD.

Love the service, but the extension ruins the internet. Unable to click on items in webpages or notifications (for instance verifications in outlook.)

Amazing extension, unbelievably awesome! I can't believe it's so quick and easy to get web content into my cloud. It's an incredible time and space saver. Sucks for people who don't have pcloud.

Hands down, super convenient extension! Here's a tip: try saving articles with it - saves them directly as documents.
