Использую просто для исчезновения на сайте всего, кроме текста, для чтения текста. Но звука автоматического голоса нет, поэтому минус 1 звезда.

Very nice app perfect to learn to speedread. What I miss as a function is keyboard shortcuts both for opening the current site with the extension, pausing/resuming speedreading and navigating left and right with the speedreading-cursor. If you the developer(s) could add this function I really would give it a 5-star.

It's OK, and it does work as a speed reading trainer...but the speeds advertised are VERY overexaggerated. When I divided the number of words in an article by the time it took the reader to "read" it, the actual speeds were: 760 (setting) -> 591 (actual) 1410 (settings) -> 1113 (actual) It works alright, but take the "speed rating" with a heavy grain of salt. I'm a speed reading trainer, and would recommend this app to every one of my students IF the given speeds were more accurate.

can you please add options to change the highlight colors. specifically i like to read in dark mode (white text on black background). the green highlight is essentially useless in this mode. nonetheless, great product!!!

It's good that it has integration with Google Books.But I think more people are using Kindle. It would be great to have integration with Kindle Cloud Reader.

Speed reading apps is a very enjoyable to run. Its simple instructions will make you comfortable to use it. Just loved it.

Great extension – works just as expected! I have always been an avid reader, but not really a very fast one. With work always keeping me busy these days, I don't always have the opportunity to read as much as I want to. It's a good thing that when I was searching for online tools to help me read faster, I chanced upon this extension. It is really flexible because it allows you to set your exact words per minute and adjust it as you please. To add to that, it is compatible with not only paid providers such as Google Books, but also Wattpad, one of my favorite reading sites!

I was recommended to use Readlax by a friend who's been using it for some time and I have to say I'm very impressed! It's extremely simple to use (even for a novice like me) and makes reading much more enjoyable as well as noticeably faster. I use Scribd all the time and it's great that it works well with this site (and others!). I'd highly recommend Readlax to anyone!

I've been searching for a speed reading extension for a while, but couldn't find a suitable one. A few days ago i found readlax and thought i'd give it a go. Wow is all i can say! With a good functional system, Readlax extension does exactly what it’s set out to do. The application has allowed me to slowly train in speed reading which has helped reduce the time I take to understand content. I find it especially useful because of the amount of documents I tend to go through on a daily basis. The extension is particularly brilliant in its simplicity as it allows one to choose a comfortable speed and up it as you get better. Brilliant app, simple to use, and a must have for those who enjoy reading!

Oftentimes, I receive numerous articles to read through per day and it can become difficult to maintain the balance between concentration and speed. This extension is exactly what I needed. Even though I would consider myself a fast reader and I have discovered that not only has my speed improved significantly, but also my ability to retain what I've just read. Great app if you are trying to improve your reading speed. I just installed it and it works with the reading sites I usually use like Google Books and Scribd, so I just open any text and I could start working on improving my reading speed by adjusting the words per minute and gradually upgrading the speed I want to read at. I hope to see more updates and new features they might add in the future, like a summary of my reading speed and habits through time.

Few days ago I got a book that helped me to learn the techniques of speed reading. I was little confused about the techniques. And that is why, I was looking for some tools or something like that can help me to speed reading. At last, I got this Readlax - Speed reading tool, the best for online reading that is fully integrated with Scribd and Google Books, Smashwords, Wattpad sites. To say frankly, it is easy to handle as well as comfortabe to use. Besides reading books I am being trained up with speed reading skill. Obviously, I am waiting for its new updates with new features.
