Sems to hang on install - just get a revolving circle - 20 mins now and still spinning Poor!

Great application for sharing google contact labels. I tried other apps but this is the best so far in terms of ease of use and quick syncing.

Top notch Google contact label and contact sharing app. Ease of use is very much simplified.

Despite their statement that they are HIPAA compliant, I do not see how. If you are required to be HIPAA compliant, Google Contacts is not covered. Waste of time.

Managing a multiregional sales team is hectic and then sharing contacts and having real time syncing was another big problem for me and then my VP suggested us to get this app and since then managing contacts and various regional address book has become extremely easy. So easy that it’s not even work!

Not all contacts are meant to be shared with all team members and not all of them have to have full access. This is where I have found this extension excellent as it gives me full control to share different contacts with different members and groups with different access permissions. I totally recommend it!

I provide services which include getting things done through various subcontractors and for this, I share certain contacts with them for specific services. Sharing these contacts was painful before I discovered this app. Now it is just as easy as creating a contact is!

My biggest challenge has been to sync contacts data of all the tenants in the buildings I own and let all the receptionists have that data, so any of them can use them whenever they have to use them. But doing it manually using excel files was not the best option and that is how I discovered this app. It solved a very big problem without costing me an arm and a leg.

Shared Contacts for Gmail helps us organize and maintain the list of employees in our organization in an easy and convenient manner. We have one central list, along with various contact labels that are divided based on the departments. All the departmental contacts are shared with all employees with the viewing permissions, whereas the managers and head of departments have the editing permissions that helps in keeping an updated information about each employee. For example is somebody will be on vacations then the managers can update this in the notes and everyone in the organization can easily know about it. Similarly, if somebody’s contact number is changed, then the managers simply change the contact number and everyone in the organization can now contact that employee on the new number. It is that easy!

If sharing docs is fun for you then this makes sharing contacts that much easier with all the access permissions like you have on docs or slides or sheets. You can easily share the same contacts with multiple people with different access permissions like some can only view, while others can further share it with others, edit them or delete them. Pretty cool and easy!

We have been using their chrome extension for years now and it has become a substantial part of the operations of our accounting firm. We keep our clients in different contact labels based on the services we are providing them, like we have separate contact groups for those who only require bookkeeping services and another for those who need our assistance in taxation. This app helps us easily share these contact groups with the relevant team members in less than a minute right from Google contacts. The best part is that our team members can easily access these shared contacts on their phones and other devices from anywhere. It is really a very effective app for contacts sharing and management.

I wanted to have complete access to all my business contacts but have my team use them and update the status all the time and that is exactly what Shared Contacts has done for me. It is a very good application for sharing google contact labels. Not the first I have tried and found this to be the best among all in terms of functionality, ease of use and quick mobile and outlook syncing.

Having this app and their extension helped me save some CRM costs just for sharing contacts with the outsourced sales team. Now, I only had to add them in my gsuite account and it was easy to share contacts with them and get the work going.

Before this app our sales people used to call the same lead multiple times because nobody had the updated data in their Google Contacts, not anymore as now our whole sales team have shared address book and it gets synced in real time whenever a member updates a contact. This extension is not a nice-to-have, but it is a must-have, especially for the sales teams and small businesses. You wouldn’t have to get a CRM at least for contacts management and sharing after this.

I have never gotten used to an app as fast as this one. It literally took me a day to start using it like a pro, partially because I organize my Google Contacts well already and partially because this app makes it super easy to share those contact groups with anyone. Kudos to the developers for coming up with this idea. Solving such a basic yet essential problem for workspace users with added ease and features. It is certainly one of the best productivity apps and the mini CRMs there are in the market!

This company offers an outstanding service. All of their apps are great and they have made contact sharing for Google users as easy as it should be.

Our main purpose of using Shared Contacts for Gmail is to organize the contacts of different Clergy members based on their positions, location and languages. We not only need to have these contacts in a centralized, organized manner but we also need it updated based on various communications that different members of our team have with them. So, having them organized and giving access to all of them so they can access it on any device and make changes that are available to everyone like which Clergy members are not available on certain dates. We simply shared the contact labels which we already had the contacts organized and simply shared them with other team members with editing permissions using the power of this tool. Since then, it has been great and automatically updated, and we literally do not have to do much, except for adding new contacts.

We are a team of five who are responsible for taking care of contacts. We are a mid-sized interior design company consisting of more than 10 departments in various locations. Having updated contact details and in an organized format is the key to our success and doing it using a CRM is nice; however, it is not very affordable when we have to collaborate with sub-contractors. So, we looked out and found this website and the idea really was simple and useful or us. We got started with it around six months ago and since then it has been a valuable part of our system. It is more than a contact sharing app, which we initially needed but now we are using it to centralize and sync all of our contact groups including leads, employees, customers, old customers, vendors, sub-contractors and more and sharing them is really smooth and easy. We simply share the labels with sub-contractors on their Gmail or Workspace emails, without any problem. It is really useful!

We used to have our contacts on Office 365 and when we came to know about this service, our biggest challenge was to migrate the huge lists of contacts we had on Office 365 to Google Workspace (used to be G Suite at that time). We discussed it with Shared Contacts for Gmail’s team and they were extremely helpful that they actually did the complete migration on our behalf. They are not only helpful, they are extremely skilled that all the contact lists were properly migrated in the same manner we had them in Office 365. Once we had it in Google, sharing these contacts with our team members without having to use any CRM. We simply use the web application or the Google Chrome extension to share the labels with our team members with different permissions or access levels. Great service and an excellent support team!

We manage a counselling firm that helps addicts break their addictions and recover through counselling. We use Shared Contacts for Gmail to organize and share our contact groups consisting of various addicts grouped by the type of their addictions. These contact labels are shared with the team members, along with different counsellors with editing permissions so they can add comments and case specifications for each patient and other counsellors can easily access these to understand the needs. The web application is our primary app to manage and share contacts and the counselors enjoy using the Chrome extension more due to the integration within Google Contacts manager. It is really effective in what it does and helps us save significant costs.

An excellent extension which solves the problem of managing contacts from the google contacts. They also offer various other applications like mobile apps, Shared contacts Gmail add-on and a good web app to manage your contacts. They offer features like -Create, delete, update and read your contacts. -Create contact groups and share them with other members of your team. -Manage permissions for the shared contact groups.

Very powerful and useful extension to share contacts.

I use it to keep a check on google groups and if the need be, then add new members into groups. It is really handy for me to keep a check on my google groups because we are a company of 700 and have more ten departments with way more groups who often collaborate.

We are a law firm and we use Clio to manage our clients’ documentation, organize their contacts and manage different cases. We could not have all the members of our law teams to have licenses just to gain access to the contacts of clients for coordination and communication purposes and that is how we found out about Shared Contacts for Gmail. So now, we simply get our contacts synced with the main google account and then create contact labels to further share those contacts with the team members. This does not only save us the cost, but it also saves time as not everyone will have to access the Clio client to access the contacts. They can simply access it on any of their devices!

Great extension! Works well than a few I have used and has better functionality and capabilities (like adding or editing contact info, sharing contacts with Gmail and other domain users, etc.). I look forward to seeing what you guys will improve or add next to make it more powerful.

I am from the organizing members of a Church and we have been using Shared Contacts for Gmail for many months mainly to share contact lists with different churches. We have a variety of contact labels like Women ministries, Men ministries, Contemplative Prayers team, Worship Team, Prayer Chain etc. and these are required to be shared with various other people for various reasons. This app has made it extremely easy and we can now only focus on organizing the contacts. Sharing is not even a problem at all since we got this tool!

I run a small group of event organizers and we are required to have organized lists of contacts including various vendors, service providers, and others which we hire for various events. These lists were required to be accessible for everyone in my group and these are needed to be updated for everyone as well. So, we used Shared Contacts for Gmail to share these labels with everyone with editing permissions and all the changes made are updated for everyone in real time. It is truly effective!

I am using their service for quite some time and it is one of a few tools that work pretty well for not so tech savvy people. Not all of our teachers and professors in our university are tech savvy and it is often difficult for them to adapt to something that is not easy or intuitive then it is not productive for them. This is not the case with Shared Contacts for Gmail. It is not just easy to use, but it is very effective and makes everything almost automatic. We are big fans of the web app they offer, but some of our teachers are more inclined to use the chrome extension and they are actually quite excited about the new mobile apps. Through this service, we can share the contacts with them in an organized manner and all they have to do is to access them and add notes or remarks for each student and all the students and admins can easily see them in real time. No manual effort required!

Our use of this app is an integral part of our system as this has helped us manage, edit and maintain our central staff and teachers’ list that sync in real time for everyone. We have schools in different locations and our operations are run from the main location, where it is essential to have the updated information of each of our staff members and the teachers. Previously, we used to sync the data manually every month using excel sheets exported from each school, but neither it was effective in saving time, nor it was accurate because it leaves a lot of room for human error. However, one of our directors suggested implementing Shared Contacts for Gmail to solve this particular problem. We created a large, central contacts group and shared it with editing permissions to all the managers of other locations. Now, when any manager updates any contact details, it is synced for all of us and we are no longer required to juggle between different excel files anymore. Some of the managers love the chrome extension as they prefer to make the edits directly from Google Contacts manager, while other admins still use the web application mainly because of the intuitiveness. All in all, it is a very useful service for managing contacts for schools and educational institutes and the new apps coming out make it even better for many who prefer to use mobile devices and make change on the move.

Although the primary function of this app is to share google contacts but the integration of this software through contacts syncing is truly unbelievable. Extremely useful, affordable and more than just your regular contact sharing software.

Problem solving at its best. Contact sharing is painful in Google Contacts, in fact you literally have to export files and share those and then the other person has to import them. Imagine having to share the contacts with a team of 50 and then wanting to have a real-time synced central address-book. If it wasn’t for this app, I would have only been working on the management of shared contacts all day!

Love this extension for what it is. Every time I go to Google Contacts, it is always there on its on making my life easier.
