Download a "User Agent" switching extension instead that works for every website that you want to load in a Mobile View. What is a user agent? Basically info sent to a website so it will display the website properly to you. More specifically: I got this from wikipedia and translated it so the everyday person can understand it a little better: "When a your web browser sends it's request for a webpage it supplies info to the web server of that website so that it knows which version of the website to send back to you. The information sent to instagram.com (and every website) when you visit is: the specific web browser you are using (Chrome, Firefox, Safari), the operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, etc), the device model (iPhone __, Pixel __, Galaxy __) and the software vendor (Apple, Microsoft, Google, Samsung) and the software revision (how up to date your software is)..." it's standard and has been done forever, it lets the web server know what content your device is capable of displaying properly, and how large the screen is on that device so that it is laid out in a functional way for you. I tried this extension trying to be lazy, lol, thinking it'd be a quick fix since DMs don't seem to auto-refresh on the desktop website for instagram (as of March 2023), and the F12 method (a debugging/coding console for web developers) reverts to desktop view when closing the code window. Its shady that this developer didn't simply provide an extension that delivers a different user-agent message to the instagram website for an untampered experience. Instead they are trying to monetize using something that is available for free to everyone already. I don't appreciate developers that try to take advantage of the normal everyday user who doesn't know any better. My suggestion to developers is to charge $3 for their extension or ask for a cup-of-coffee donation instead like the more forthcoming developers do.

I can't upload video through this app. also image edit is not working. Only upload image and download image working.

Just wondering how to download photos if there is multiple photos. The download Icon is not showing if there is multiple photos, it only able to download the first photo of the photos

i don't why this isn't work!? They say.. "We couldn't connect to Instagram. Make sure you're connected to the internet and try again."

Doesn't work at all for me. Can't even log in. And yes, I've tried with all adblockers and other filters off.

It's unable to share posts to the story & I can't create stories rather than uploading photos! OTHERWISE THIS IS GOOD

Its only OKAY because it doesn't give you a choice to upload multable photos! But I'll still keep it if I want to write a simple post or upload something simple. You can't tag people but that's fine with me. That's why I only give it 3 stars.

They say photos plural but only single photos permitted!!! Not happy

Sadly it stopped working. "Post did not upload." error.

I really want to love this more, but not having the ability to most multiple images is my biggest complaint. Please work on adding this feature, otherwise this extension is virtually useless as I nearly always post multiple photos. If that feature was included, it would get 5-stars.

It won't let me upload videos from my PC... It will only allow me to upload a photo.

Seems to have stopped working. I've been using this for months to upload to IG via my Mac or Windows machines but I'm now getting the 'Post failed to upload' message.

This app is great!! but i rated it 4 stars because i can only upload one image per post!!! maybe the owner will fix it someday!! anyway this app is fine

I think Instagram must have a way of blocking this extension now. I just tried it and I was able to log in (first time), but it won't post my posts. Nice interface, everything seems to work but the posting doesn't happen. Again, Instagram must be blocking the extension.

Quickly tried this one and removed it just as quickly - reason - when clicking the extension icon a tab opens up with the Instagram feed as expected, BUT the site is not HTTPS secured and all data is therefore unencrypted. Chrome even warns me before opening the site that there would be a problem.

Unable to upload multiple photos in one post.

It needs to allow multiple image uploads. A few days ago, I got a warning about the Desktopify site being unsafe and now it keeps logging me out.

Installed to Chrome 85.0.4183.102 on 9/17/2020, and it would not complete login. As a result, it was unusable.

Can't log in, screen just refreshes.

Worked perfect for my needs until recently, but now it won't let me login. When I select my account to log into, the page just refreshes back to the login page.

Was very useful until it stopped letting me log in today. There is clearly an issue going on that they aren't fixing. Oh well, guess it's time to go back to using the phone directly.

When I try to upload to my story it says to rotate my device. How am I supposed to "rotate my device"? I'm on a desktop!

it was working great til today, now wont let my upload pictures. the share button or download button disappeared today, so cant share

This was very useful, but the one thing it can improve on is add the polls option, because currently, we can only take pictures and take videos. Great app, though! Definitely recommend.

Can't see live

I cannot log into IG with this app!

Does not let you watch Instagram LIVE!!! Shows regular Instagram content just like mobile app. It does not show Instagram Live streams. Whats the point of this app?

its required Instagram login .. also the login function not working.i tried many times to login but nothing work . i don't trust them anymore.

Worked fine for a while. Now I cannot login in to my account despite logging in fine direct to insta. Reset password didn't solve it either.

It was good for a long time it was the most useful extension for instagram but it stopped working all of sudden and wouldnt let me long in for some reason it kept bringing me back to the sign up page.

worked for my sibling but not for me, i am unable to login using the correct information and it just sends me emails about someone logging in, not sure why its doing this

How do you watch a Live stream on a laptop???? This app doesn't seem to have it.

cant watch live videos wasted my time

It used to be ideal but now it seems everyone is finding it no longer works. Maybe it's been hacked. It's like something is trapping our logins and attempting to get into our instagram accounts. There seems to be no response from the developer. See the Support tab above.

NO LONGER WORKS!!! Logged me out now won't log in. At all

I love this extension. It worked perfectly in every way. But, only recently did I have a problem. It had logged me out of my instagram account. No big deal, right? But upon trying to log back in, it just took me right back to the log in page. I knew mu information was correct but still. I didn't get the text saying my information was wrong, it just wouldn't let me log in. And it's been this way with ALL my accounts now. I logged in on my phone just to double check and, yes, everything I had put in was indeed correct. I'm unsure if this is their networks being buggy or just something that went wrong. But this really did a number on my opinion for this extension.

Thought I would love this app since it is one of the few to come up in Google Search, but I am unable to sign into my account. I hit login, I get an email from Instagram saying I logged in, but the app's website asks me to login again... Not sure what the problem, but I tried incognito, no ublock/adblock, no dark theme, and with flash on.

It works great.. only today i have issue logging in google chrome beta.. no problem though in regular google chrome. update : can't login on both chrome and chrome beta

This extension is currently broken. Otherwise, it's a good extension to have. I'll update or remove my review when the problem is fixed, but currently 1 star for not even functioning.

Am I the only one that can not view LIVE videos ? They do not show up here at all so I can not even select to watch them, I can only watch them on my phone.

I really liked this extension but these past few days I've tried to log in and hasn't been successful. I can see a little circle loading to log in and the page flashes white for a second then goes back to the log in page. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing changes I will have to uninstall :(

it's ok for me but it won't let me delete my directs , it won't let me tag peaple , and also post a story and now i reinstall the app it doesn't work at all

Love this! Maybe somebody knows if anywhere is an API for this ext? I need to post some media to Instagram from my website but there aren't any possibilities to do this from Instagram or Facebook APIs, so I wanna know if this ext has own API to post some media to Intagram. I uninstalled app. I reinstalled app. Can NOT LOGIN - using all options. I reset password. OK, I was logged in. I closed app. When I reopened app. I COULD NOT LOGIN AGAIN. Had to uninstall this ? app. BYE-BYE.

i love this extension and have been using it for quite a while now, however there is a problem, the navigation button for the stories does not show up anymore so it is impossible to see, hopefully this gets fixed in the near future

i really loved it, it lets me use my ig mobile with its view and features on pc and chat and stuff like that but what bothers me that it doesn't let me delete conversaftions. i tried long press/click didnt work and right click either. please add feature that lets the user delete his desired conversation

It would be great if it would open disappearing photos, voice messages and live videos. Also I can't upload videos from my laptop. but I love the fact that it has dm.

This app worked amazingly well. It lets me like, post, and dm other people. My only complaint was that for while my account was blocked. The fix for this is just to log out and log back in again. You also can't put multiple photos in a single post, can't post videos. No ig live either, and no video chat.

is there a way to make this full screen? and as a desktop app(i dont need chrome 2 use it)
