What is the point of this extension?

It is horrible

It is something to have if you work in open office

My favourite extension. I use it at work all the time to sneakily browse the web while I'm bored at work.

Expect the font type and size won't be modified optionally which are hard to be read after being modified.

Was working well until Google said "This extension violates the Chrome Web Store policy." and disabled it. I would like to know which policy it violated so I can decide whether to enable it again or not.

I don't like this at all it's changes the whole pages look I just want the dang font changed to something easy to read and back, black as coal. If you make something simple like that let me know, this isn't my taste at all. An extra star because it did do as described and another because it didn't mess up chrome. (Personally for me 2 star, have to be fair though...)

Love the extension but it has stopped working on WhatsApp web. Can you help

Fantastic! I used to use Ghostzilla back in the day (if anybody remembers it!), and was always longing for something like that today. I ended up using Stylish to have custom CSS for each website. But this is so much easier, and right to the point....lots of options, etc Love it!!

It's a nifty extension.Some issues though, the line heights gets garbled up a lot of the time (scrunched up text) when you increase text Font size. Also, the Hotkeys don't seem to work all the time. It seems to be a hit and miss situation, but that's a minor issue. 2019-11-02 Actually found that "Ctrl + Shift" shortcut keys are a hit and miss situation. The "Ctrl" shortcut keys seem to work ok.

Great app does that filters out images and makes it easier to read. For some reason when I have it to show all images and just change the colors, it blocks icons.

Great, never had an issue

Used to work on discordapp.com, now it completely cloaks the entire page, even if I have the option only to change the colors. Needs to be fixed.

Very useful, you can right click on a link before opening it to open it in safe mode so it does not launch videos and other annoyances

A creative tool for the corporate slacker. And a great deterrent for the screen lookers. Sometimes I need to look up some stuff without looking like I'm slacking, get off my case!

I block images fairly often, and this is just that, plus more. Good stuff. Not sure why it's 922 K.

i liked it, but it sometimes really screws the format up, like on tumblr

Great extension. Very handy. Distraction free. One request: Can you please provide option to disable the plugin for a given tab? I do not want to whitelist it, I just want to temporarily see the full website or anything that I browse on the given tab.

Brilliant. Set background color, text color, and link color, and instantly turn any webpage into a scrollable document that is easy to read. Very nice to use at night or at work so all those annoying banners from online stores aren't flashing on your screen.

Please create extension for football scores & goal notifications - I don't want to be going on sports website to find a score.

Great for reducing the colours on my screen and allowing me to read webpages in a clean style*! *Great for browsing reddit in a workplace that may or may not be mine.

Absolutely the best choice for blocking out annoying images, etc, and letting me focus on the text. Plus easy-to-use options for customization.

It is causing chrome helper to max out at 99% of one cpu.

Excellent extension, very helpful. Edit: now it does disable them. However, it does not disable the background image on the side of wikia pages. (eg. http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Game_of_Thrones_Wiki)

Excellent and best extension so far..request to provide following features 1)Give custom color selection for visited and unvisited link color 2)for website where video does not play due to block(<div>) checked by default..give ability to check/uncheck this element as a pert of site customization...refer "Care your Eyes" extension if you want to reuse the code. 3) doesnt show horizantal scroll < or > button for example recommended books in for movies in for amazon primevideo.com for green on black theme . 4) on web.whatsapp.com vertical scroll bar is not visible in people and content list. 5) add "change font,color" in your extension name so as to get more hits

Great way to read. Very customizable (depending on your monitor and your vision needs: more contrast, less contrast, bigger, smaller).

This is my favourite extension! Unless you are my employer, then I absolutely detest this add on.

Great concept. Wish it had the option to convert pictures to grayscale in addition to the opacity control. Could have much more opacity if the pics were grayscale (hover would remove the grayscale). Would actually like to grayscale the whole page - makes pages look very professional. Also using on pinterest, hovering over the thumbs doesn't apply the hover treatment. Not a big deal, though.

Just brilliant. I never expected something like this to exist, but this perfectly fits everything I need.

Works really well, and the developer is both excellent and responsive. I noted a problem with how this extension worked with a popular system of sites, and within a day he fixed the issue and emailed me to let me know! This is amazing work, and the extension is as excellent as the developer. The extension has always worked as advertised, and only gotten better with time. Could not recommend more highly.

Handy tool for discreet browsing. Especially when your table is without partition or too close to someone.

Very nice, but sometimes the coffee cup icon disappears? No longer working on Facebook!

Does its job well, and doubles as an image filter for copiously illustrated health articles. Leaves some website interfaces looking a little odd afterward, but otherwise very good.

Works well but only adds CSS. Would be more efficient add an option to remove all CSS styles but keep the layout intact.

A++ -- superb extension that just sets your browser into a black and white mode with text. options allow you to display images or display on hover. Works great, keep up the good work.

Hi, thanks for a great app! I started having one issue recently: sometimes, when I switch between tabs, the Decreased Productivity effect is being applied to the tabs I don’t want to be affected. Usually it’s when I switch from normal tab to the one already affected with Decreased Productivity. After I do that, the tab I switched from, becomes affected with Decreased Productivity as well. Another thing: I have an option on that hides page favicon. So, if I switch Decreased Productivity on the tab on, it successfully hides page favicon. But if I then switch Decreased Productivity off, the favicon doesn’t come back.

Works perfectly as described. Lets you browse the web without it being obvious what you're doing.

I love this app. It dos EXACTLY what I need it to do. Unifies everything so I can research non-work related things. It also dims the images a lot so I can simply focus on the text of the site. Extremely useful extension. Kudos, my friend.

Great, except that I cannot control the font selected, so it chooses a Chinese instead of Japanese font on Unicode-encoded pages - text is still readable, but it would be easier with a correct font.

The ctrl-f12 key does not work on ubuntu. Apart from that, it's a fab tool!

My main purpose for this was blacklist, which unfortunately, doesn't appear to work. The coffee cup shortcut however still works great when I need it.

Great overall extension! Love how it works on mostly all sites to change colors. However, I have it set to show images/Flash yet some pictures refrain from showing on various sites. For instance cover photos on Facebook timelines or the little white title in the top left corner of Amazon. Fix please?

Great Extension. But options are not preserved, when I go to options everything is unchecked, not even default settings are showed.

Very neat extension. It improves readability and makes procrastination less identifiable at the same time :P Also, it has a lot of contiguration options. However, there are some issues with websites that use icons/photos that are actually css background images (ie. Facebook photos or status icons, or the reddit vote arrows). Would be perfect if there was an alpha transparency option for background images like these too.

This is my life saver extension. For me spends a lot of time reading news on the internet each days, this extension make it really comfortable for my eyes and huge reduce eye stain.

Really useful, but a little bit buggy. Two strange behaviours I've noticed: 1. Will sometimes apply itself you every open tab, instead of the one I've selected. 2. When reloading a page I've already activated DP on, it'll take a few seconds to cloak the page again.

This allowed me to close an account on an NSFW site without having to look at the images. It's highly appreciated.
