Worked for me on the site I needed it to. I get there are sites that it might not work on - like Facebook & YouTube - but typical websites it seems to work great. 5 stars.

works with websites that are not "typical" video ones.. the only extension I was able to find to work with any site containing video content

Video Downloader PLUS no longer works for Facebook videos. After using it for at least a year, with no issues whatsoever. I've reported the issue to them, they never replied to me, they've never fixed it, just SUCKS.

Useless for basically most sites except facebook, why not say this add on is specifically for facebook.

It didn't work for zoom or youtube videos. If it is only for Facebook videos then the name should reflect that.

It might be useful if it were to work on any website for which folks need it. Unfortunately, that's just not the case. I'm sure there are plenty of other downloading plugins out there. This just ain't the right one.

I use it to download videos from Twitter DMs, and although sometimes it takes a while for the extension to detect the correct video to download, I've always managed in the end. It's the best video downloader I've used.

i Downloaded a NFL Video from a different site, and of the 2 hours and 16 minutes it only played the first 2 minutes and the video stops and have to start over every single time. FIrst time trying this extension

I've had excellent results with Video Downloader and I'm no computer genius. More than perplexed by the folks with trouble. Occasionally I can't get a video downloaded. So far, all have been due to the video not being ready to download or some other mistake I've made. Bottom line: I recommend this application.

Simply because it stopped offering the ability to download videos from YouTube with the poor excuse of it being against YouTube's policy, it's not as if they're going to cut your head or remove your extension from existence. Take this one star from me, would have rated less if it was possible. Hope you understand that.

Works perfectly and not only pulls in the active stream, but also gives you options if there are HR options available! The only thing that I would recommend is to place the notification control slightly under the video player itself if possible via css/js. Great job!

The only one that works for 01000001 01101110 01101001 01101101 01100101; all the rest just don't detect video. It depends on the site though as one site has a slight stutter in the audio. One was working but only if it had a certain server. The best I found was for Zoro and the download speed is the fastest. Sailing the 7 seas is too dependent on seeds and the result is some booty just isn't available. Building up my library has now become easier. Because of all the trial and errors I had to go through I dropeed a star as there's no explicit detail as to the types of file/web that works best.

it has a unique download method. it can download almost all flash videos. I use vpn due to internet restrictions. Despite this, its speed is quite good.

It downloaded a jpg file instead of a video file and even when i manually changed it to mp4, it was still a 3 second thing changing images very quickly with no info and no audio

IT WORKS, this seems to be only one of 2 video downloader that work. This also has no pay wall. The 2nd would be "video downloadhelper" (2hr pay wall after every DL though)

Excelent product. It worked so well for more 300 videos from a website. Fast and smooth. Better than other extensions I've tried; or even IDM.

In Facebook videos, it overlays the pause button, so videos cannot be paused, whether or no you want to use the extension.

This has been working great for me for downloading from Vimeo - until a few days ago when it stopped working properly. It either downloads a .htm file or it the "save as" popup just doesn't appear. There's also a long list of entries of the video name but with no other details (like extension or resolution). I suspect Vimeo has implemented a change, but would like to hear from any others that might still be using this (or similar) app successfully with Vimeo.

Plugin cannot find video with 9/11/22 versions of Chrome and Facebook. Simply does not work.

Only problem I'm facing is that when downloading hls and ts, m3u8 videos it doesn't show the size of download.
