Great interface and app to help share contacts between users. I like the intuitive interface and the seamless integration with G Suite.

Contact sharing for google users is just one of things that this extension is good at! It offers various access permissions, real time contacts syncing, not only among the members but also for mobile devices and outlook with just a toggle of a button. It also offers a variety of integrations using Google syncing. I highly recommend using it for business users!

This extension provides essential functions that are just as useful for personal use as they are for business users. These functions should have been part of Gmail from the beginning. Easy to setup and create lists.

Using it for a couple of months and my basic need was to share contacts with three of my partners. It has been working like a charm and we do not feel the need of using any CRM to manage our business contacts.

Lack of response from Support gets them 1 Star for this application. I have zero tolerance for unresponsive personnel. I have been trying for months to get these folks to correct their invoices which do not match what is actually being billed. They do not respond to any support requests at all.

It is a great service and the Chrome extention really is a great addition to their set of apps they offer. We are a small group of counsellors and most of the time we are on the move for various purposes, in which it is essential for us to have our shared contacts accessable on Google Contacts. For this main reason, we started using the website application of Shared Contacts for Gmail and converted our centralized contacts in different contact labels for better organization and then we shared the contact labels to different counsellors.

I manage multiple sales teams that are dedicated to deal with different type of leads. We do use a CRM for sale management but having all the members of different teams as users is not feasible for us, which is why we rely on Shared Contacts for Gmail. It helps us acquire the contact details of all leads through its integration and then I simply share the lists with different supervisors with resharing permissions. This process has helped us save tons of hours and a significant amount of money over the period of six months.

Doesn't seem to work anymore. I sent a support request to the issue I was having and received no reply. I also checked the support tab on this page, and saw that other people were having the same exact problem, but there was no reply from the developer. That issue is regarding Authorization Error 400. I was ready to pay for this. Instead I will delete it and look for something else that works.

Our company works with an external marketing agency that requires us to share the contacts of various department heads and some leads details with them. We were already using Shared Contacts for Gmail to organize our central contacts database before they came on board. We simply created a new label and added the relevant contacts in that label that the marketing agency would need and shared it with them on their external domain. We were actually unaware of it until the support team helped us know about this amazing feature. Great service!

Shared Contacts for Gmail is a very good tool to manage all the contacts. If you manage a Church like me and having troubles organizing and syncing the contacts lists, then you should definitely give it a try. I have organized all our different contacts in contact labels and these are shared with all the shared holders in my team who are usually engaged in email communications. It is a breeze to use and it has made our operations extremely smooth.

It is one of the most useful things I have found that has really improved my real estate business operations. All of our contacts are organized in Google contacts manager and these contacts are synced in real time as our agents have the editing permissions for these contacts and all the contacts they edit are reflected in real-time for all of us. Adding more leads for these agents is also extremely easy as I simply create their contact and add it into the shared label that is accessible for the agent, depending on the neighbourhood they deal with. It is truly a very effective app to use and a powerful one.

We keep a central contacts directory of all of our students with all of their contact details and any notes or comments that have to be associated with the student. Due to COVID-19, all of our operations have moved online and teachers have been having a hard time managing and acquiring all the contact details of students in their classes to share documents and other study material. We started using Shared Contacts for Gmail and their support team helped us organize our contacts in the best way possible. They suggested we keep the central list as it is and also have separate contact groups for each class/batch having students’ contacts that are part of that batch and share those with the relevant teachers. We did exactly the same and now it is extremely easy to update or add any details and it automatically gets updated for all of our teachers. They can easily access any students’ contacts and notes without having to waste any time. The web app is extremely useful in organizing and managing these contacts and our teachers use the chrome extension for their ease of accessing those shared contacts.

My whole team is in love with this extension. This makes collaboration super easy and everyone has the access to the central google contacts for the whole business at their finger-tips, along with the contacts of all the employees.

This app has helped me get rid of adding and removing various subcontractors to the CRM just to share contacts, even for the one-time services. I can simply share the contacts with them on their gmail and it works as nicely as any CRM would work.

A great extension for businesses using Google Workspace/G Suite. It works like a charm, just a tad bit slow when syncing. Other than that, I love the feature-set and the enhanced note keeping and information fields on Contacts it offers is brilliant. Cheers!

I am among the organizers of different prayers at a Church and my team like this tool very much. We have different contact labels for people who are the part of different prayers and it really helps us in sharing these contact groups with priests and other organizing members who can use these contacts for email communications. It is pretty much automatic once it is shared and we only need to add more people to the contact group to keep our contact database growing.

My team has the editing permission to all my contacts and all the changes they make are synced automatically to my google contacts. Took me a little while to find a solution for this and this is the perfect solution for me.

I am a hardcore Gmail user and really like it, but finding apps like these to increase the features at such a low cost is totally another level. For example, having the ability to easily see all the members of a google group when you have to deal with many of them is impressive. I can’t remember everything and this is one way how they make Gmail that much better for me. Great work guys, only if the interface can be slightly improved!

At no point was it made clear this is a paid add on. I had to complete the set up process prior to learning this would require multiple licenses. I will not deal with a company that blatantly obfuscates their intentions.

If I can recommend a must-have tool in your tech stack for the teams using G Suite (Google Workspace) then this has to be this or among the ones that are must-haves. Apparently it would look like it can help share your Google contacts with anyone you like, but it has a lot more to it that truly makes it a mini CRM, if not a complete CRM. Great tool!

Importing and exporting contacts from various users is not fun and the Google admins can feel that better than anyone, but this app has made it a breeze for me as I can simply transfer the ownership of the contact groups no more than a minute or two. That’s my favorite feature out of many they offer. Kudos to the team behind it!

If you are a sales team using Google services for business and want to save some valuable time, then get this installed and start using it. Do keep the note of your time and after a week or so when you get the hang of it, I would love to know if it didn’t make you efficient. One of the best productivity app for teams and businesses.

I work with multiple agencies and I have to share leads data with different users. As long as they are using Gmail or Google Workspace, I can share my contacts with them. It has literally took me out of the misery of playing with multiple CSV files, every time I had to share contacts.

This extension has killed our use of excel sheets for contact management and sharing. Managing hundreds of contacts using excel sheets and having to share specific ones with specific members is not as easy as it may sound. Glad I found this extension!

This is not the first contact sharing app I have used but certainly the last as I never felt the need to look for any other. Works like a charm!

My biggest challenge has been to sync contacts data of all the tenants in the buildings I own and let all the receptionists have that data, so any of them can use them whenever they have to use them. But doing it manually using excel files was not the best option and that is how I discovered this app. It solved a very big problem without costing me an arm and a leg.

I really like the features that this app offers to those who use it for the free version. You can enter a lot of data and be functional as a small business. We used it for two years on the free version and finally had to upgrade. We upgraded because we knew what we were getting and I couldn't find anything better for the price. You can add fields, edit fields, create reports, etc. This app also integrates with IFFFT (If This Then That)...so when I enter in a new lead, it will populate the lead (contact info) in to MailChimp in to a specific folder that will be an automated email campaign.

Using this extension for sharing my contacts with my own other business accounts. Works great and I have had no problems so far. Just had a bit of a problem in understanding ownership transfer of contacts but the support team was very cooperative in helping me out. Good company!

Just needed a basic contact sharing app to share the contacts with my partner and found this. It works well and does not cost a lot. Recommended for contact sharing if you are a Google user.

I manage a sales team of 20 people and it comes with the management of hundreds of contacts. This extension has not only made it easy for me to share contacts with right people, but it also helped me manage them on the admin account with ease. We are a church and communicating internally using the Email regularly with different clergy members based on their positions is a time taking feat when done manually. We needed a proper solution to organize all the contacts into proper groups and utilize these organized contact groups for email communication with the clergy members. It is not just a single person who sends out the emails, so we needed to collaborate on contacts as well. So, we used Shared Contacts for Gmail and simply created different contact labels for different clergy members and shared access to each of these labels with all the people who engage in the email communication with them on a regular basis. This helped us organize and share the contact labels at the same time, while everyone can collaborate and access these contacts in real time. It is a very useful application and we would certainly recommend it.

Powerful, easy to use and the best for sharing Google Contacts.

I didn’t have to go through the manual to share my contacts using this software. It is pretty good at what it is supposed to do and quite self-explanatory. Good job!

It is one of the most essential requirements for our law firms to have the organized list of contacts for all of our clients, partners, clerks, attorneys, the court staff, prosecutors, and other magistrates, along with media personnel, judges and public attorneys’ offices. In addition, we also need the organized list of all these contacts based on different states and cities as well, where we operate. Now, even if we get it organized and centralized, we still wanted it to be updated time to time and have it shared between all the team members. Shared Contacts for Gmail has been exceptionally functional in solving all of these problems for us. We simply organized all of these contacts based on their category and the location in different contact groups. Then, we shared all of these contacts across all team members so everyone can easily access these contacts and make updates, if they need it. All the updates made are synced with everyone in real time and everyone can access all the contacts from any device at any location. It is an extremely powerful set of applications that are more than just an average contact sharing app.

It was never a perfect app to start with but I really love the dedication of the team as they kept taking care of bugs and made it this much better. Really glad to say that I have seen this company become such a fantastic contact sharing solution.

Our school system includes eight different schools from different locations and our biggest challenge was to have an updated central list of contacts having all the details of teachers, admin staff and other management personnel from all of our branches. We used to have eight different contact groups, each having details from each school and each of the contact groups was distributed as Google Sheets with everyone. When we started using Shared Contacts for Gmail, we used the web app and it really helped us our Google Sheets were completely gone, and we all had access to all eight contact groups. Fast forward a couple of weeks, we started using a centralized contacts list of all eight schools, in addition to eight independent contact groups for each school. It has become extremely easy for managers to add, update and share the new contacts with all the schools and stakeholders with mere clicks. A couple of our managers use the chrome extension that works directly with the Google contacts manager to add new contacts to the shared contact groups and these are all synced in real time with every stakeholder. We still widely use the web app and started using the Chrome Extension and Gmail Add-on to make our contact sharing more effective. It is undoubtedly a powerful solution for education institutes like us to manage, share and keep track of all the contact details of teachers and admin staff from all the schools. Totally recommend it!

I provide services which include getting things done through various subcontractors and for this, I share certain contacts with them for specific services. Sharing these contacts was painful before I discovered this app. Now it is just as easy as creating a contact is!

If you are looking for a mini CRM for your business and you are going to use it only to assign contacts and manage them, then this is for you. It works great, saves time and actually saves the money that you will be spending on getting a good CRM.

The best part about this is it allows me to share contacts with any Gmail user or other domain users as well. I work with various agencies so I usually have to share contacts with various other domain users, and this extension has made it a breeze. Totally recommended!

Very useful app!

Before this app our sales people used to call the same lead multiple times because nobody had the updated data in their Google Contacts, not anymore as now our whole sales team have shared addressbook and it gets synced in real time whenever a member updates a contact. Great app for the sales teams!

This is one of my favorite chrome extensions that actually helps me get to know more about my leads and the notes my team have left for me for that particular contact/client. I work as the account manager and client success head so it is automatically the part of my job to stay in touch with all of my clients and being able to share the relevant contacts to other teams. Gmail or Google Contacts alone didn’t make it easy for me but I am thankful team Shared Contacts for Gmail actually have!

I share with my employee just the contacts I really want, via labels. She's also able to send email to any of the shared contracts directly from her gmail.

I often have to share contacts with other sub-contractors and adding them all in the CRM just to share contacts have been was neither feasible nor cost-effective. Using this extension has helped me share the contacts directly to their Gmail addresses and they do not need to use any extra software to coordinate with the clients. Definitely a very good extension and very useful too!

Shared Contacts for Gmail is one of those extensions that I use on a daily basis. It instantly shares the contact groups and syncs contacts with mobile and then it is just a matter of adding more contacts to that contact group and all my team gets them in real time.

One of the most useful extensions for any small business that has to deal with clients on a regular basis. We are only a team of three people working real estate and this helps us keep a good check on all the updates we have with different clients. My favorite feature is setting access permissions and changing the ownerships completely without having to export or send any file to others.

Very easy to share contacts and contacts labels directly from Google contacts. Like in Google Docs, we can set edit, view only permission to ensure only authorized users can access Shared Contacts.

I love this app. It completely replaced our CRM and it is fully integrated for G Suite: I can organize my contacts and add notes and share these contacts list with my colleagues and have them always updated. What is particularly cool is that we don't need to use a third party app as it is fully integrated to Gmail/Google contacts/ Google Calendar at Google Drive.

This app is a life saver for our business. We need to have access to several contact lists from all our G Suite apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Google voice etc). This Shared contacts app was the only way to ensure we all have access to the same contacts at the same time and anyone can update them whenever they want. Before that we used to have a CRM license for every single user of our company but it was costly. Now only 2 people from the sales team have purchased a Salesforce license. They have synced their salesforce with their Google contacts and have shared these contacts with all the company. In the end of the day, only 2 SalesForce licenses are purchased but the whole company can access them thanks to Shared Contacts for Gmail.

A very good extension that my team loves, it let's us share our contacts and is cheaper and faster than other methods we tried before.

When contacts are deleted they reappear resulting in people getting emails who do not want them. This makes the service essentially useless.

We've used this for years. I like what it does and it is fairly easy to administer but recently, it has caused us a lot of problems. It drops contacts off of lists. We put them back, and they randomly drop again- the contacts are there, but the labels are empty. They randomly cancel our subscription, and we have to scramble to tell them we did not cancel, please fix. They'll fix, first saying our credit card was wrong, and then admitting it was cancelled on their end. This happens to our account 1-3 times per year. Then they come out with this extension, which looks great, but they forgot to mention it doesn't work with our version. We have to remove the app from the apps grid and pay for a more expensive version to receive the same product tomorrow that we have today. I don't know why they are having all these technical problems, but it causes us as admins a lot of work to monitor this app all the time. It should just work without us constantly asking them to fix problems that seem to be caused on their end.

I love this extension. Now sharing contacts is very easy from Google contact manager. I don't need to go on a different screen to share the labels. I can share my labels in 2 clicks. - first click on share icon. - enter the name of person you want to invite and click on invite button. The label is successfully shared. very EASY. :D I strongly recommend this app if you are looking for a contact sharing solution.

Have had our own email program for many years. Sorry I hadn't been using Gmail all along. So easy to use in the field.

This chrome extension is helping us tremendously. We have 1000+ employees in our organization and 9 departments. So, we have created 9 contact groups (labels) one for each department. These all the labels are shared with all the members of our organization with view permissions except edit permissions for IT management staff. Now, all the employees in our organization can easily locate specific person with in the related department label.

One of the best G Suite / Google Extensions I know ! It saves so much time as I don't have to send contacts to my coworkers several times a week to stay in sync !
