I hope i can give this 0 starss.... one time it let me install my extentions i thought it was a kind move but i realised that mobile guardian was simply not there ad when it was back it lagged my device i could not even do my work properly , one word search in the dictionary can take up up to 20 mintutes with or without my adblock!smelly! dont recommend

It is the stupidest extention created by humanity.

Let's not all tabs the instant my wifi experiences a hiccup I was working for 5 whole hours on my scratch project (God knows why I didnt save :( )... and boom... page blocked and progress lost

This is an extension that is being misused, used to stalk the privacy of a student's data. This extension has been forced to be installed by teachers specifically in Singapore, and is misused to be used as a stalking website for its true use, while at the same time wasting money that us customers spent on the Personal Learning device (PLD)(A laptop [specifically chromebook] that is forced by students and parents to be bought by teachers without any funding or subsidy) as it totally does the following 1. Privacy of one's personal device (contradicting the name of the deivce, Personal Learning Device) 2. Used to stalk one's data 3. Causes mental harm to a large audience (99% of Singapore's student population above the age of 13) 4. Not helping consumers - abusing them instead 5. Unlawful action

God dang it. It can't even do it's job properly. There are certain(not gonna leak) ways to bypass the mobile guardian to get to websites, download extensions, and so much more. It is invasive of our privacy too, though I will take a neutral stance on this, because currently none of my teachers uses the mobile guardian to see our chromebooks. But what is wrong with it? The "mayhem mode" as I call it. Blocks everything within 5 minutes, including educational slides, blocking everthing once it is on sleep mode, and lastly, it blocks whatsapp. Hello. Teachers often say: i am going to send this on whatsapp. But If we can't acess it , then what's the point? Also, people, you can't just assume everyone just have a phone and a phone number and have mobile data(School wifi is unconnectable so I am not going to talk about it.) or even bringing their phones. At this point, the PLD is how they get their information from the teachers, yet you block it. Absolutely Hilarious. Applause, Everyone! Thus, this extension is just absolutely a piece of work indeed. (Sorry for the poor grammar)

a terrible app overall this app is so terrible that even i get frustrated when it blocks off an educational app which i need to complete my assignments this app should definitely be removed immediately as it is a terrible app without giving students freedom at all

Ok, admit it - there is so much options for blocking websites. Yet the Personal Learning devices are using this freaking stupid app that literally stalks the student whenever the teacher feel like it. Imma not gonna risk this account for a feedback. This app IS a disgrace to all the options that is available to education marketspace. I uphold this app to be BANNED

this extention our school installed, i mean o parents paid for this laptop and its our property u dont have the right to put restrictions on MY laptop that MY arents bought this should be TAKEN DOWN

This extension infriges our rights as students and expunges all hopes of personal privacy. This creates a sense of hate towards using our chromebooks as everything is banned. It should be illegal to track a persons every move and every button they click. They even track how much RAM we use! Honestly, this should be banned in most countries! Absolutely awful! If there ratings in the negatives, I would click minus whatever the most number is. 0 Star rating! I hate this! Edit: 10 years have passed and I am now a father of 6, each child comes home everyday complaining about this! Edit: 15 years have passed and I am lying on my deathbed because mobile guardian informed the FBI of my review! Edit: It is 2021 and they found my kids watching youtube at home, so they sent them all to a Gulag. I can track them by mobile guardian. Help me organize a military commando so I can rescue all children there. I am in the process of suing them

What kind of app is this? Just for crazy parents and schools trying to access our every move. Don't we deserve some privacy ESPECIALLY the fact that it tracks your location. Seriously, this app needs to be banned, what happens when someone hacks into your wifi and EVERYONES data is revealed immediately through what? Your app. TAKE IT DOWN!

I FIND IT OUTRAGES THAT YOU ARE OFFERING AN EXTENSION THAT ALLOWS YOUR LOCATION TO BE SEEN BY ALL DEVICES BY THOsE WHO ACTIVATED, MANY DEVICES ARE USED FOR PERSONAL USE AND YOU DONT KNOW WHO MAY BE THIS APP TO MONITOR YOUR DATA WITHOUT CONSENT. YOUR APP IS A COMPLETE DISGRACE TO GOOGLE AND ITS HIGH PRESTIGE. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TRACK OUR LOCATION WHEN YOU'RE JUST STALKING OUR SCREENS 24/7.

This application infringes on the fundemental ideas of the internet and the world wide web. If you really want to filter data on a network do it at the backend, because all mobile guardian does is filter the sites I need while looking the other way when acessing sites that should be blocked. Plus, being a chrome extension, it takes about 3 minutes and some common sense to delete the files through file explore meaning that it is, for all intents and purposes, completely and utterly useless.

It is awful and stops me from being able to use Chrome Remote Desktop.
